Happy Haven Retrievers

We got our boy Timber from here, and it was very affordable! Hes a very sweet boy with quite the personality. Couldnt be happier- and the farm was very pretty too!The only thing Id say is Im not too impressed with the communication. It was difficult to get in touch with her and when I had a question after, she didnt get back to me. We also didnt get an offer to meet him while he was younger like Ive heard some people did. But she was very flexible with the date for pickup, which was a very good sign I felt like! And we got to see his mom, and she was lovely.Anyway, all this aside- hes a very good, well-behaved adventure partner, and if you are looking for an affordable option, this is certainly a place to consider.(P.S.- theres a few other golden puppies from around our area, and hes by far the best!!!)

This breeder gave me a puppy that they had lied about her date of birth. When I went to the vet when she was supposed to be 14 weeks old, the vet told me she wasn’t even 12 weeks as she hadn’t lost her front teeth yet. By the time she has lost her teeth, it appears they had sold me a puppy that was 4 weeks younger than they reported! On top of that, they reported she was wormed and she arrived with a significant roundworm infection. When I attempted to reach out to them regarding her worming status, I never received anything back, shocker! Would not recommend purchasing a puppy from them.

I can’t say enough good things about Happy Haven Retrievers. We weren’t planning to get a dog but when we saw their litter of mini labradoodles, it was love at first sight. Rosie and her family so clearly care deeply about raising healthy, friendly, and well-socialized pups. We are training ours to become a therapy dog. Every step of the experience was positive.
