All of my animals go to Beaver Meadows. My late dogs did as well.One of my dogs, Porkchop, is a frequent flyer at the vet due to an injury he substianed that he now gets monthly injections for. When he walks in he knows the girls behind the desk will come out and give him treats and some love ❤️He looks forward to getting in the car to go see his friends.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff.Took my grand dog in today for an emergency visit ...appreciated that we got an appointment for just a bit after we called. Dr Ellen addressed the issue at hand but also took the time to review his record and tell me that his weight had improved..his weight loss had been an issue at a previous visit. Thank you Beaver Meadow!

This was Sophies first visit at Beaver Meadow with me. All went well. Staff is amazing, kind,knowledgeable, helpful and made everything go smoothly. I felt like a new mother lolId highly recommend.

We recently have a new addition to our family. We have been going to Beaver Meadow for over 20 years for our pets.Our new addition is a Frenchton Puppy. The Vet at Beaver Meadow and staff have been amazing and so helpful answering our many questions. He has had a few hiccups with a intestinal virus and we are diligently treating him with meds.Every time I call there, the staff are helpful and reassuring. Especially Christine. With things like finding our test results and even a free sample of a probiotic to scheduling us for quick appointments.Ellen Hilton DVM has been so thorough with her assessments and on point. We are very lucky to have such a knowledgeable, compassionate, dedicated veterinarian here in our town.Thank you from our family and Ares !

I recently visited Beaver Meadow Vet Clinic with my dog, Kinsey, and I cannot recommend them enough! Kinsey can be quite nervous and a handful at times, but the staff at the clinic handled her with exceptional care and patience. From the moment we walked in, they made sure we felt welcomed and comfortable. The staff are not only highly knowledgeable but also genuinely compassionate and understanding of the needs of nervous pets. They took their time to ensure Kinsey was calm and safe throughout our visit, which made the experience less stressful for both of us. Im incredibly grateful for their professional and tender approach and would urge anyone looking for a vet to consider Beaver Meadow Vet Clinic. They truly go above and beyond for their furry patients!

The care, compassion and loving kindness shown to our 7 month old Corgi Ellie was the reason we have entrusted our Furry family to Beaver Meadow . She fractured her Tibia and the frequent visits for cast changes- imagine those short little legs- was worth every trip as she healed, got spayed and can resume being a Puppy now! We met Dr. Hobaica for several visits who is so professional and this experience just added to the respect and gratitude we have for Dr. Hilton! I called everywhere local who could help my dog Kiki no one had openings, I called beaver meadows will little hope but the front desk rep was AMAZING! she went right to the vet who was in surgery to see if they could take a look a Kiki. We ended up getting Kiki right in! DR Hilton is PHENOMENAL! She cares so much about her patients and got right down to the points. I will forever cherish Beaver meadow for getting my dog in when no one else would! 5 out of 5 stars.

This practice is very compassionate and pragmatic. I appreciate all of the staff very much. I also love that they can board pets, too ❤️

This is Neeko and hes been at BM 5 times to sew up a neck wound because the stitches wont hold. The staff has been absolutely awsome and I cant say enough about Dr. Hilton!

Staff is wonderful, from answering phone calls to helping get Hope into the office to the Doctor coming out and working out a care plan for my aging Dobie. (Even the young vet tech who came out to clean up Hopes nervous poop)! We drive from Herkimer just for the wonderful experience and will continue to do so as our 3 dogs reach their senior years!

I have been a client of Beaver Meadow Veterinary for almost 10 years & they are absolutely the WORST veterinarian in the area!! They can get these other animals in below me with reviews!! But I have been bringing 3 different pets there in the past 10 years & this is the respect I get!! I am now transferring to another vet because I could get in faster. My dog who is 2&1/2 had her hair cut & the groomer cut her ears & she is shaking her head & digging at her ears. So I call Beaver Meadow & they cannot get her in til August!! Its May 4th. I am beside myself & they blamed me because I was supposed to call in April!! What!?! Its May 4th!! Im 2 weeks late! Youre going to make her wait til August!?! Thats not on me!! Blaming others for their short comings!! I go in the next week or so to get her medication refill & explain that she really needs to see a vet. They explain that I can make an EMERGENCY visit which they set aside for EMERGENCIES! This is NOT an EMERGENCY I just want her to be seen BEFORE August. So she goes in the back, to ask Dr Hilton & this is her answer, if you cannot see the cut in the dogs ear NEITHER CAN I!! So I will have to wait til August or use an EMERGENCY appointment! I ask how much is an EMERGENCY visit is & she says double the amount of a regular visit!!Thats when I left!! Went home & had my files transferred to another office that can see her in July & I am treating her for her ear infection! And its already better! THANK YOU FOR NOTHING BEAVER MEADOW IS A JOKE‼️‼️‼️‼️But Did you know they charge you a $6 fee everything you go there for a visit!?! YES!! They charge you for PPE for the 1 Vet the have left that did not leave!! So added up over 10 years at at least 2 visits a year isan extra $100 I was charged over the life of my visits despite constantly complaining!Beaver Meadow are thieves!! And do not care about you after 10 years of being a client!! Bye, Bye‼️ Gone to Marcy Vet! They treat us like family!

Its always a pleasure, Mike is always amazing with Banks and the Vet was so gentle and kind! They know my little man is full of anxiety while he is there and they treat him like their own! Thank you for always being the best to our baby!! 🥰♥️ Also, i think Banks was happy that mommy was able to join him this time!

We have been taking our Rottweilers to Beaver Meadows since they were 8 weeks old and the staff and Doctors are great with them. Recently we rescued two pups who were pretty bad off when we got them. The staff and doctors at Beaver Meadows were fantastic, so understanding and compassionate. Cant thank them enough, especially Courtney, Dr Roberts and Dr Hilton.

My dog does not enjoy going to the vet, he gets very anxious, I am very happy with the care that they give my boy, and knowing how anxious he gets, they tend to get us in and out, which I’m very thankful for! I would most definitely recommend Beaver Meadows to anyone looking for caring vets!

We brought our dog in for a routine tech appointment. Our young child was home with me for a doctors appointment that day and went to the vet office with me. He asked the technician to look at his stuffed fox first and the tech willing asked to take the fox in back to examine him. When our dog returned so did the tech with the fox who had bandaged the foxs fox and our child was ecstatic. Thank you for going the extra mile to show my child how to care for all of our pets!!

I am so appreciative of the staff and vets at Beaver Meadow Veterinary Clinic. Im from Iowa and was staying at an old family camp at Silver Lake farm on Fairchild Road. The staff treated my emergency immediately and my beautiful Ragdoll breed cat, Annabelle, is recovering - bringing me great relief. Have a sick Guinea pig named Cora. Took me in the same day I called and that’s amazing in the when it comes to vets. Me and Cora were both new to the facility. They treated us both wonderfully and kindly. They have my gratitude and business from now on. The whole experience was top notch and flowing with kindness and friendliness. I would highly recommend them.

My cat Sif was so scared. The staff was very good with her, letting her get back in her carrier when not examining her. So gentle and caring. Ive been going here for years. 3 years ago they kept Boomer alive for much longer than I hoped, even though his weight was under 6 pounds from a thyroid condition. They said he wasnt in pain and wanted to live, so I fed him with a syringe, and we did fine until his heart gave out. I have and will continue to recommend Beaver Meadow.

The staff at Beaver Meadow Veterinary Clinic are top-notch! Our cats have received the best care from birth to the present day. They are patient, professional, informative, and kind. They have a great app that is convenient to make appointments in as well. They have reasonably priced care also.

We have ferrets and our regular doctor was out of the country when one of our ferrets got sick. Beaver Meadow took him in the very same day and provided excellent service. I am really happy we found them, and would highly recommend. Fantastic place.

Love, love, love Beaver Meadow. Ive been bringing my pets here since I was a child with my parents. When Dr. Burton was owner. They are caring and friendly. They are thorough and view our pets as family members as we do. Refuse to go anywhere else. Keep up the great work!!!

Very happy with Beaver Meadows they care about the animals, are always courteous ,kind, and have my dogs best interest at hand. They take time with my dog and get him in when he needs to be seen. Also you can call them with questions and they get right back to you. I wouldnt go anywhere else

Beaver Meadows is a great place. Starting with the staff, they are very friendly & take theyre time with you answering all questions you may have. The Dr. Duke has is extremely smart [ she just called me as Im writing this, Duke can be picked up at 2pm ] she explains everything to the t and I think thats super. I cant say enough about her and the staff, you will feel very welcome. My hats off to all of them, Im 67 and have had dogs from the age of 9 so there has been plenty of veterinarians in that time, I have been to them all but without a doubt Beaver Meadows is the best damn one in Oneida County. My sincere thx to them all!

Staff are very nice and welcoming. You can tell employees and vets take pride in their workplace because even with the (sometimes) nervous or excited animals in and out (sometimes having an accident or two) the office is well cleaned and operated very smoothly. Prices were surprisingly not absurdly high and my fur baby was well taken care of.

Tech was knowledgeable and treated Luna as if she was her own, Vet was also knowledgeable, both explained the importance of tests and vaccines Luna should have but did not push any of them on us. Luna did test positive for Lyme disease and the tech made the calls necessary for us to receive a refund from the vaccine company for antibiotic she needed. Very happy with our initial visit.

I absolutely love this Vet clinic! I honestly have only been here twice with our new dog but there is no comparison to the clinics I have been to in the past. The staff is so friendly, you never wait long for your appointment and my dog has no anxiety about being there. And because she has no anxiety, it’s easy for me to take her there.

I love Beaver Meadows! They take excellent care of my dog. I have never had an unreasonably high bill. Every visit/procedure has been very affordable. My dog has even had 2 surgeries! They treat my dog as good as I do! I highly recommend Beaver Meadows!

From the phone call for an urgent appointment, to the end of the visit, everything at Beaver Meadows was above my expectations. My dog was seen and cared for with professionalism and respect. Everyone listened and there was no hurry. Well be back for sure.

Our dog was sick for a couple years and it wasnt until Diana took over as her vet that we got to the bottom of the issue (bee allergy!)Diana is always available with a response on what to do in an after-hours situation. This clinic is absolute TOP TIER when it comes to veterinarians! I was traveling with my kitty and was about an hour from home when he started panting pretty heavily. His breathing didnt improve for a little while, so I just searched vets in the area. I called when I parked and told Erica the situation. She was so kind and immediately came out to check on my fur baby and give me some paperwork to get him in. Dr. Amanda was the treating vet and the tech who helped us was Angie. All three staff members were OUTSTANDING! They got my kitty in super fast despite me not having an appt., and Im not a regular patient because we live so far away. No questions about making time to see him, which you dont see a lot. Dr. Amanda checked him out and he turned out to be just fine, but overheated. She monitored him for a bit, and then Angie brought him back out to the car. They gave him a towel to keep the sun off his carrier and two ice packs under his blanket to keep him cool for the rest of the ride. I cant say enough amazing things about this office!! If I lived in the area theyd be our regular vets hands down. Its clear how much they love animals and what they do. Thank you Dr. Amanda, Angie, and Erica for your amazing care- bless you all ❤

We are dog sitting our daughters dog, Aya,and since they live out of town we wondered where to turn when a health concern came up. We called Beaver Meadow Veterinary Clinic and they set us right up with a lab test and then an appointment. Dr. Hilton was wonderful; professional, kind, and very knowledgeable. She really put my mind at ease and I will definitely go back if any other concerns come up again while we are dog sitting. I would highly recommend them.

Our 3 labs boarded here for the first time. We can’t speak highly enough about the Beaver Meadow team. All of them deserve high praise from the office managers to the vets and kennel staff there is consistent professionalism across the board not to mention the spotless facility and loving care they received. Especially in this trying time of covid and the regulations that are imposed on all of us they manage to provide the same quality care you would hope. The staff is very friendly. You always get a warm welcome and they are excellent with my dogs and chinchillas. I love how they will search and call around until they find the best solution for your pet. I have been going to them for 10 years now and will continue to go to them. Our experience is fantastic everytime we visit! My boxer was terrified of our last vet and beaver meadow has made her much more comfortable. We came for shots last week, and they know Nala sometimes gets anxious when she comes inside so the tech offered to do the shot right in our car. No one has ever offered to do that for us before. Your team is super friendly, compassionate and genuinely cares. We felt a sense of comfort and confidence as soon as we switched. Dr. Amanda is extremely knowledgeable. We are so happy to be a part of beaver meadow and we know our girl is in the best hands!

Your staff is always wonderful and has taken such good care of our four-legged children. We absolutely love coming to your facility and have no hesitation bringing our children when they are ill or just coming in for routine work.

My healthy 14 year old dog, who was still very strong and full of life, whose blood work was all normal, died because of the treatment that was prescribed by a vet at this clinic. All my dog had was a small swelling on her paw. After a course of antibiotics and anti inflammatories did not solve the problem, the vet casually prescribed another course of antibiotics and prednisone. Not a word was mentioned about what side effects the prescribed meds could cause and what to watch out for. Not a word was said about how dangerous it was to miss or stop the steroids. I had no clue what I agreed to and what I signed up my dog for. Nothing was explained or discussed with me. I had to find out everything from the internet when it was too late. Had I known all the risks, had the vet did her job well and gave me all the necessary info I could’ve still had my dog with me. From the start of the second treatment she suffered greatly - for 3 weeks she was panting and pacing nonstop, restless, and hungry and thirsty all the time. She eventually started vomiting blood and went into a shock and died. We had to bury her with the swollen foot. The treatment did nothing but kill her. I still cannot believe any of it. Please don’t trust blindly with your loved ones and always do your own research. Read, ask questions, don’t assume that someone else would care for your pets as much as you do.In case people are reading these comments and just in case this info could help someone I should also mention that about 3 years ago my dogs joints were so inflamed that she started struggling to walk. This clinic sent us home with anti inflammatory and pain meds saying my dog was “old” and there was nothing they could do, that it was an age related arthritis. After some research I switched her dry dog food to meat (cooked chicken or ground beef) and a small amount of vegetables and it did wonders for her. I also gave her good multivitamins and omega 3 oil daily. No medication, at all, nothing. As a result, at 14 years old, she was a healthy and a very happy dog. All her blood work was normal (including kidney and liver function), she was full of energy, the inflammation in her legs subsided, and she was running up and down stairs like a puppy. It was actually quite shocking how fast and energetic she was at her age after a simple change of diet. As with regular doctors not all vets are trustworthy and knowledgeable as you might assume. Read and research before you agree to any prescribed treatments or medications. Look up the info about the link between diet and inflammation. Pharmaceuticals are not always the only answer.

Brought Sammy for a quick tech appointment, came out and took him in while I waited in the car. Wait period wasn’t to long appt at 10 was done by 10:20. Explained tests he had done so I could understand. Excellent service.

This is the first time in my life that I’ve ever filed a review… Unresponsive, lack luster follow up… Those are words that come to mind. Two visits over $700, I ended up going to the emergency vet clinic in Syracuse… Wonderful people there, I came back to Beaver Meadow for the follow up, yikes, backside covering, double speak, not pleasant, my Bernese mountain dog- will be ok … No thanks to these chuckleheads

I have been taking my dogs and cats to Beaver Meadows for many years. Always, courteous, professional and helpful. Communication from the doctor, when waiting in the car due to COVID, is very good. Vet techs are awesome and caring. Would recommend.

The staff is very empathetic. They know your pets are your family and it shows. Also, they are very honest in the cost vs. benefit dance. Location means they dont have instant access to the more intensive services that you find in larger cities or near the big vet schools, which is a concern, but then since they arent the ones whod benefit from it, when they tell you exactly what [other vet in Syracuse] can do for your pet theres no undercurrent of slimy sales pitch, either. That was very much appreciated when our cats were getting ready to cross the rainbow bridge.

My cat does not like the vet at all. It doesnt matter who is the doctor. He hisses, scratches and bites. Dr. Roberts was very patient, caring and thorough given the circumstance. Vaccines were given and she recommended a change in diet. I really appreciate Dr. Roberts for helping me and would recommend her for your pets care.I also brought my puppy to Beaver Meadow. They gave her vaccinations. Scheduled follow up appointments and spay. Very pleased with the reminders and the flexibility when I was running late getting out of work.

When our vet of many years retired so much changed ar that facility. Had been there since the 70s. 3 of our friends recommended Beaver Meadows bc our dogs were getting so stressed out, therefore we were stressed. LOVE IT Staff is helpful, polite, and professional. Great team! And.....they board as well. Highly recommend.

I switched over to Beaver Meadow a few years ago when I left another Valley Veterinary establishment after having a bad experience during an appointment with my dog that had cancer. Ive seen all four of the vets and theyre all so very caring, wonderful people that you can tell truly have your pets best interest at heart. I have never once felt rushed out of a room and the vet will sit and answer all of your questions and concerns and even make their own suggestions for a course of action. All of the vet techs and front-office staff are wonderful as well. They even help me get my dog in and out of the vehicle because she has some arthritis problems now that shes older. Another great factor is that theyre open 24 hours for emergency care. The last vets office that I was with I had to drive all the way to Syracuse for an emergency appointment. The moment I calledBeaver Meadow for an emergency a vet called me right back and said well meet you at the office as soon as possible. Thank you so much for caring and making any Veterinary experience a more bearable one!

I sent a pet desk message explaining that at 4:20 am my pup Piper has a seizure. They called me and had me bring her in, she has had 3 seizures since last year and after many test we cannot figure it out. But they still wanted to check her over and address her allergy issues. As always prompt , professional and so caring and compassionate to Piper and I. They are very affordable and explain everything before they proceed with any treatment. We adopted a rescue dog, my first dog ever, from Stevens-Swan Humane Society. We have been using Beaver Meadow Veterinary Clinic ever since, 8 years +. We would highly recommend Beaver Meadow! Their prices are reasonable, the facilities are professional and kept clean, and the staff there are Wonderful with our fur-baby (Irish Wolfhound / Black Chow Chow mix, rescue). He looks forward to a ride to see the girls as we say. He walks in, and goes right over to the scale to let us weigh him! The girls say what does he weigh, and he is in and registered for his appointment. We have never had to wait more than 5 minutes for any scheduled appointment either! We are grateful for the love & dedication that Beaver Meadow bestows upon its fur-babies. Thank you, Beaver Meadow staff :)

Very compassionate when we had to let our beloved dog go. They helped us make the right decisions, always through her last couple years. And they have been wonderful with our cats also . I trust their advice. Always there when we need them, even if it is just a question.

When my Dublin was having an issue I texted Beaver Meadows with the information. After they opened on a Saturday morning they texted back and stated that he should be seen and gave me 2 appointment times to choose from. I went over and was very pleased with check in and timeliness of being seen. Very professional, friendly and kind to Dublin.

Wait time less than 30 min for me on short notice to get my pup seen after another vet amputated her toe 4 days earlier. Just adopted Daisy from a rescue out of area a day after her surgery and her bandages had been bitten off even with her cone of shame on. Paw looked frightening to me and Doctor Amanda, cleaned it up, dressed it and adjusted medications. Saved Daisys paw in my mind. Love Beaver Meadow!!Great attitudes, friendly, compassionate docs and staff.

We love this vet clinic. Have been bringing our animals here for many years. The doctors are very knowledable and friendly. The staff are very friendly and helpful. This clinic is attentive. We called with a sick doggy and they got us an appt for the same afternoon! As a side note, their prices are super reasonable. Recommend them 1,000%.

This place is amazing! When I needed my Guinea pigs to be checked ASAP they took them in next day and were extremely friendly and the doctor was very attentive and sweet to my boys which I appreciate. I don’t even live in the area just visit family over here but I would rather travel over here to have my boys checked then go to another place.

We had an emergency, and were too far from our regular vet. They got us right in and were so wonderful. I can easily say they saved my little dogs life. I am so grateful for their help, kindness, and expertise. What a great place, would absolutely bring my animals here if we lived closer.

Our pet took ill and we lost him very quickly and unexpectedly. Although this was a heartbreaking time for our family, Beaver Meadow Clinic was truly professional and sincere in helping us take care of things. We appreciate their kindness and sincerity.

We had to put our cat to sleep and the staff were so compassionate and caring. They are still doing curbside but they had us come in so we could spend some quiet time with our baby. They presented is with a paw impression that was really sweet and thoughtful.

Car side service was fast and curteous. Ive had Beaver Meadow as a vet since the about 2008, and they have always been caring and effective. My dogs always love going to the vet. There is no higher recommendation!

My rabbit was not acting right, when I called they seen him as an emergency within a couple hours. When we arrived we waited maybe 2 minutes before he was in a room and being seen. They took there time and explained everything in detail. Did not feel rushed at all. Best experience I have had with a vet in a long time. I will keep going back .

I had an emergency with my Hedgehog and I could not find anyone to take him in. We were not a patient of Beaver Meadow but they took us him in that day anyways! Their service was great! Very friendly and professional! I would highly recommend them!

My pets have been patients here since I was a kid. Dr. Diana and staff have been amazing in the care of my pets, from emergency visits to yearly check ups! The office is quick to get us seen by the doctors! Dr. Diana saved Gus life, with quick dignosis and getting us set up with all the correct care! Beaver Meadow staff is so caring and kind. They have helped me through the difficult diagnosis of bone cancer for my dog, and finally helped us through the difficult experience of putting her to rest. I can’t say enough good about this wonderful and competent staff.

I have a very senior diabetic blind dog that developed a cough that we were concerned about. I had heard great things about Beaver Meadow so I called as a new client, they got me an appointment the very next day, had his records transfered over from his previous vet took They excellent care of him all for a very affordable cost and his cough is much better! Its a great place. Friendly staff and they are very good with my German Shepherd, who can be a challenge sometimes. My only issue with my last visit is that I wad charged a Covid PPE Compliance fee. Why should I be charged for them to wear a mask!!!

The staff are always professional and courteous . In and out without any delay . Treated Benny like he was one of there own . Spent extra time with me , showing me how to clean a Basset Hounds ears .

I have been to Beaver Meadow Veterinary Clinic many times with my cats and rabbits. I have always had a good experience. The vets are knowledgeable, skilled, and friendly. If you have a rabbit this is the only place you can see a rabbit specialist in central NY. She was able to determine out my rabbit had a rare condition and how to fix it. I was very impressed.

Beaver Meadow Veterinary Clinic has been amazing with my GSD puppy. The staff has always been kind and helpful, always willing to answer any questions, but most of all they are attentive to the needs of my pup.The service is great and theyre very affordable! I will never go anywhere else!

I had heard several times not to go here, but the convenience out weighed what I had heard. I thought I would see for myself! I am older and also moved several times so I have had lots of dogs and lots of vets!I am not going to list every negative thing I have experienced but I will say that if you want kindness from every staff member and most importantly knowledge then please find another veterinarian office!

Quarantine has been rough. When we woke up to our cat, Oliver, soaked in his own blood and urine, we were so panicked and shocked. I called 4 different veterinary hospitals, who still turned us away. Thankfully, beaver meadows got us in immediately. They have been so helpful and kind, a breathe of fresh air in this awful situation. Thank you so much to the staff who have been working tirelessly! You all are incredible.

Beaver Meadows is a warm inviting place the staff there are loving and caring who take care of your animals . I would recommend this place to anyone who needs a place to take their fur babies or any other animal . My experience yesterday was fantastic and safe the staff wore their face mask when they came out to get my dog Chili for her immunizations .

BM shows interest in your pets, realizing they are part of your family. Staff is willing to share info and explain why they suggust certain options. I have been going to BM for 15 to 20 years. All vets are pricey. I travel, my pets have been to vets across this country and the all are pricey. So it has to come down to the quality of care and from what Ive witnessed, BM has won the privedge of caring for my 4 legged family members.

I have had nothing but a positive experience with Beaver Meadow. I was in a situation where I needed to get my dog’s vaccinations updated for a last minute boarding and my own vet in Marcy wouldn’t see him so I called probably 15 other offices and they got me right in. Highly recommend!

Last October our little girl got sick. Since we are new to the area I really started going to Beaver Meadows because it was so close. It turns out Maddison loves to go to the vet now which is good because they found an auto-immune disorder that may have killed her and we’re there quite frequently. Dr Hilton is a consummate professional who is very up to date on doggie illness and all the girls (and guy) there are so awesome especially Patty who is Maddison’s favorite! They get 5 stars from us!

Staff was friendly and courteous, Veterinarian Dr Amanda was very knowledgeable and answered all questions. We did not feel rushed. We feel that we will get very good care at this establishment.

One week tomorrow we had to say goodbye to our sweet dog CharlieBrown. I want to thank Dr Diana Ostrander for being so compassionate , we really appreciate you and your staff. Dr Hilton thank you for being understanding during CharlieBrown s illnesses, you diagnosed him in June and we had three wonderful months enjoying life everyday , we have been with you for many years and will always follow you . Veterinarians are fantastic!! Only gave it four stars because the blonde short haired receptionist is incredibly rude and lazy. Brunette receptionist was so sweet and did not hesitate to pick up work load!

Im giving this place a negative review cuz Im not sure as to why the owner dr. Diane does not like me. I have tried to contact her in different ways to no avail! I have been to this place before for treatment and it was not always greeted with a warm welcoming smile not sure what I ever did to anybody down here but I will only use this place in an emergency situation if I cannot get to my awesome vets that are up north!Just said that locals have to be like this....I will be amazed if I get a response as to what I have done to get such negativity back from her and the staff.

Everyone is polite, eager to assist you and very professional. My dogs have always been well cared for and staff really seem to like the animals.

Beaver Meadow has been our goto Vet for over 17 Years. All our dogs are rescues. Some have been abused and need extra care and attention. Beaver Meadow has never let us, or our animals, down when it comes to compassionate treatment and care. We have complete confidence in the Vets and Techs at Beaver Meadow.

Top notch. Got us in even though we are established with them. We are new to the area and no one would help us. Great staff. Took great care of my boy. Its worth your time to drive a little further to an actual vet that cares about their animals. Staff used excessive force and the catchers pole on my frightened dog when I boarded her instead of giving her time to get used to her surroundings and the new people. My dog is now terrified and hiding from me. I wish she could talk so I could know what they did to make her so fearful of everything.

They are always wonderful and accommodating! The front desk is so nice and pleasant! They always take great care of my fur babies!

I recently moved to Boonville from San Diego and had not found a vet for my 10 year old Standard Poodle, Olive Hoover. She was suddenly very ill and BMV took her in immediately. They have been absolutely amazing. Thank you all so much.

Dr. Gabby misdiagnosed my sister in laws puppy during an emergency visit at night, which led him to dying after leaving their clinic. When I questioned her diagnosis, while my sister in law and puppy were still at the clinic, and asked her indications for Parvo, she stood by the fact the puppy had Parvo, even without any vomiting or diarrhea, and the clinic was out of Parvo tests to confirm the diagnosis.. She said we should come back the following day for more testing if we thought it was necessary, since she believed it was a waste of money to do it that night. The puppy died less than 12 hours after onset of symptoms. Dr. Diana did an autopsy and Parvo test, which revealed the puppy did not in fact have Parvo. Cause of death is still unknown. We paid to have him cremated and were told we could pick up the ashes the following week, on two separate occasions. The ashes never came because he was group cremated and no one told us we would not get the ashes back, quite the opposite. When I called about his ashes the receptionist was extremely rude and unprofessional. All of this put together was just an extremely horrible experience. I would never trust this clinic with a living, breathing animal again. Feel free to reach out to me for more details, photos, emails, etc.

Not even possible. Molly was much better & continues to improve every day. She is back on her regular dog food and has resumed playing with her toys. She is so much better because of the intervention of Dr. Diane and her staff.

Our first experience with Beaver Meadow was last July (2018) when our pug, Mojo, was unable to urinate. It was a Saturday evening and we called several vet clinics with either no response, or in some cases we were denied assistance because Mojo wasnt a registered patient with their facility. Not so with Beaver Meadow, however. The doctor on call agreed to meet us at their facility asap.When we arrived, the doctor and an assistance were there waiting for us, assessed the issue, took immediate action (which included removing the blockage in question), and in the end, saved Mojos life.Needless to say, Mojo and our new pup, Bella, now go to Beaver Meadow. We cannot thank you enough for what youve done!

Brought our dog in for stomach issues that we could not resolve through other vets. They helped us twice with ways to help and both times it made a huge difference. Honest, fair price and caring.

Ive been going there since 2004. They are my 2nd family. I wouldnt take my fur babies anywhere else. The Drs and the staff are fantastic.

On 7/23, Monkee was brought to Beaver Meadow to have a growth removed from her mouth and a skin tag removed from her shoulder. When we picked her up from surgery, no Dr brought Monkee out or explained what was done or how to care for her after surgery. She was handed over w/ a paper w/ generic instructions. I was in shock at the large sloppy glued together incision that was made.The incision started to leak blood and the next day it came apart to reveal a hole all the way down to her muscle. I called the vet and offered to send a pic, but was told it wasn’t needed. As long as the hole wasn’t oozing, it was ok and to wash it with dish soap. Monkee got worse and woke up the next day in extreme pain, unable to eat or move w/o screaming. Her face was swollen and she still had a hole in her shoulder. We called again and demanded to speak to the Dr. and sent a pic. She said things like this don’t usually happen with such a simple procedure. We weren’t offered pain meds/antibiotics, we had to ASK. In response to the pic, the Dr replied, yes, obviously the wound had become unsealed. She offered to have Monkee come in and put a staple in it, but unfortunately (fortunately) we don’t live upstate full time and this was something that needed urgent attention. We collectively decided to bring Monkee to vet in Brooklyn and the Dr called there ahead of time to explain the situation + she covered the cost to fix it. Heart of Brooklyn Veterinary said it’s much more than a quick staple. They put Monkee on antibiotics for a day, while we kept an eye on the wound by flushing it out every few hrs. Then they gave her stitches w/ a drainage tube. The tube was in for a week, the stitches came out a week later.The Dr at Beaver Meadow stated she’s not sure how the hole got so big or why Monkee has numerous ulcers in her mouth. I ask, if you were in the room / performed the surgery, how could you not know? I am not a person who writes bad reviews, however, this is my dog and the pain she went through is unforgivable. I would like an explanation because I’ve yet to receive one. I would also like to pass on awareness to others.

Very friendly staff! The only place that had an exotic pet vet on staff locally. They have a great covid system in place for smooth running appointments without leaving your vehicle.

I always take my dog here for routine work but recently she was acting out of sorts and I wasn’t sure why. They took the time to find out exactly what was going on, didn’t pressure me to do anything I didn’t want to do and kept me informed throughout the visit. I trust them 100% with my fur baby.

If you have an emergency and your pet needs immediate attention. I wouldnt waste your time calling here, your pet will probably die before they even call you back. (Waited over 12 hours, and even called them a second time to confirm my phone number etc)

My family gave been going to Beaver Meadow for a long time and they have always been top notch. In cate and caring. The doctors and techs are the best.

I love this vet so much! They are always there to help and have taken care of all my cats. They are obviously there for the pets 100%.

We saw Dr Hill for our golden with a bloody nose. She diagnosed the problem quickly, did the appropriate tests and prescribed medications that should solve the issue.

I have no complaints whatsoever. They are the greatest place. They are professional and take of my pets with love and compassion. I wont take them anywhere else.
