Cozy Noses Bed & Breakfast-Pet

Finding a animal boarding facility u can trust is hard , You make the arrangements try to adhere to their guidelines , pay your fee , and hope u get your animal back healthy . Businesses like this one must think everybody is desperate and think we can be treated with disrespect and a condescending attitude and be back again . I dont think so , there are other options and we must use them and make a statement and drive these type of establishments to cease to have the privilege of having a business .Im not done with narration of this place and I will continue to embellish more reasons why u should seek out better accommodations for your furry friends that are part of your family.In previous dealings with cozy noses ( yes went there more than once ) because I believe in second chances , My animal came back in need of a vet visit, a few times been talked to with disrespect . Im hearing impaired and well not always getting what people take for granted what their saying is hitting home so I ask for a redo and get thats ok and dont get a proper explanation. Example left my animal with a toy from home to give a feeling of not everything unfamiliar in her temporary surroundings, because they dont know if your coming back . Than come back to pick her up and they say we dont give toys back , what??? Than get a surly employee chastising me about policy , No I call that incompetence and laziness among other things .They have lost this paying customer and hopefully give other current and potential customers some food for thought when they seek out a place of shelter for their extended family members

Boarded our less than one year old dog here, and he now has kennel cough. He was fully vaccinated and we never experienced this for the decade of using a different kennel with our other dogs. Disappointing and now we need to take him to the vet. Wont be using again.

From the second you walk into this establishment you know the kind of business they are. Cozy Noses takes pride on the services they provide for your fur baby. I was a complete nervous wreck leaving behind my 14 month old German Shepherd for the first time, and they made me feel at ease from day one. They were patient and very accommodating. They also answered every question I had, and kept in-touch letting me know how my baby was while I was away.The staff is extremely respectful and super nice and you can see they clearly love their job!! Also the place is spotless!!!!My baby was well taken care of and we all know what that means to us parents!!!Cozy Noses gets an A ++++I wrote the same review on Yelp!!!

The folks have their process down which is good. They keep the safety of your loved one as their #1 concern...which it should be. However, my experience with my unique dog is I get the feeling my dog doesnt like it there, YMMV. He comes home looking like he hasnt slept in days, and has lost a few pounds. My dog is not really into other dogs and Im sure the loud barking for others keeps him up at night. Hes not a cage dog where he shares a chain link fence next to other potentially loud non stop barking dogs. Weve stayed there maybe 4 to 5 stays and every time he gets home he crashes mid day to sleep and takes a few days to get back to his weight and eating. Ill lift up another rock and see what else is out there. YMMV.

Love this place. We used another place a few times and our dogs always came home shell shocked and lethargic. Every time they’ve come back from Cozy Noses they’ve been super happy. The other kennel also gave the wrong dog clearly labeled medicine and when they realized they then refused to give medicine period. Never a problem at Cozy Noses. They are super nice, take care of our dogs, are communicative, and very reasonable. The location is also great if you are flying out of Islip. I highly recommend Cozy Noses.

Cozy Noses was recommended to us by several different people who have boarded their dogs. The staff is helpful, knowledgeable and enjoy working with dogs.The facility is clean and large with a lot of availability. Because it is a big kennel, it can be noisy. The system at Cozy Noses is well organized for feeding, medication and special needs of the pets. A special playtime is available for an additional fee.

My neighbor had mentioned bringing her dogs here years ago and recommended it. My dog is VERY shy. She is a rescue and small. She has only boarded with my vet, once, and they stop doing boarding. With trepidation knowing her personality I brought her to cozy noses. I am so happy that I did. She received wonderful care and one of the staff members, Denise?,) fell in love with her and gave her more attention seeing how she was shying away from being with others. I highly recommend bringing your furry loved ones here. Everyone the is wonderful.

My friend boarded her dog here last month and when they picked up the dog she was shaking. They took her to the vet and she died within 2 hours! When they called cozy noses and asked what happened they said well one day she had diarrhea another day she wouldn’t eat and threw up bile… yet they never called the owner!

The staff is always so pleasant and they listen to what you are saying. My dog loves going there. Actually pulls me to get in whereas over other place I brought him to he kept riding around to get out. I highly recommend Cozy Noses.

We have been bringing our dogs to Cozy Noses for over a dozen years, maybe longer. We have always had positive experiences with boarding, playtime, or grooming services. My blue heeler cattledog mix and black lab always looked and acted happy upon pickup (the heeler might be a little hoarse, but she is a big barker at home too). The employees are always pleasant and understanding, and happy to see my pups when I bring them in. They are conscientious about taking care of the pets, and contacted my vet for advice and medication one time when it was needed. Very happy to recommend Cozy Noses for your family.

After reading the reviews of Cozy Noses I thought that it would be a nice kennel for my 15 month old German Shepard to stay.What a mistake! I picked up my puppy and even though I payed to have her groomed she stunk.I asked the lady who was ringing me up how she was and all she said was that she was “wild”.I had paid almost $60 for my puppy to be exercised and when I asked about that all I was told was that the trainer did not write down any notes.My puppy pulled me right to my car and as soon as we arrived home ran right into the house and hid under the table.When I went to pet her she showed her teeth and even growled.Finally after a few hours she let me pet her and I noticed a cut on her nose.I am not sure where the cut came from and I was thinking her behavior was only because she was tired.This morning she is still very skittish and scared.My normal playful and affectionate puppy is still cowered under the table.I do not know what the employees of Cozy Noses did to her but she is acting as if she is not even my dog

The services my three dogs received at Cozy Noses Bed and Breakfast Pet has motivated me to write my first review ever. As I have done many times in the past, when I would have a bad experience while patronizing at a restaurant or a store, I would let it roll off my back, but make a personal note never to patronage that establishment again. But, when my little guys have a bad experience, I am obligated to speak up on their behalf.I traveled to the Ronkonkoma area to spend the Christmas holidays with my parents, my siblings, and their families. As a result, I needed to board my little guys. So, I decided to board my dogs with Cozy Noses Bed and Breakfast Pet for six days, which was also the duration of my stay. Before I go any further, I should note that during my stay, I called many times to check on my little guys and I was told that they were all doing just fine. But, when I picked up my dogs, that was not the case. To begin with, all three dogs smelled horrendous, and looked like neither had eaten in days. In fact, all three dogs had lost so much weight that I could count their ribs. When I got home, I took my little guys to the Vet and each dog had lost eight pounds each. In addition, one of my dogs had little red marks on the back of his left paw.My final thoughts, there was nothing cozy about Cozy Noses Bed and Breakfast Pet, nor did they treat our dogs as if they are their own. For all my future trips to New York, I will find a more suitable place to board my little guys. A place that actually cares for those extended family members we love so dearly.

I came back last week and my dogs came back not the SAME!!!!!!My one baby came home having had a heat stroke and is in critical condition. I can’t believe this is happening.Update - my dog is neurologically damaged from the heat stroke. Our family is heartbroken. And people that know me know I treat and take care of my dogs like Gold.

Just got my girls back today from a 4 day board. I have a 200 lb mastiff and a 25 lb long haired mix. Both came back smelling and looking great. Exhausted and happy! I highly recommend this facility! I am an over protective pet parent, so only the best for my babies!

I have been bringing my two Pitbulls here for years!! They are very well taken care of & they seem very happy when we come to get them! I highly recommend Cozy Noses to anybody looking for a great, safe place to leave their babies when going on vacation! I would never use any other place!!

We have used Cozy Noses for years for our two Rhodesian Ridgebacks. They are always well cared for and it is a relief to be assured they are safe while we are away.

Left my doggie their while we went away on vacation. I called to check on him and they were very receptive.. Facility is clean, you can schedule a walk threw. My dog was well taken care of.. Would definitely use again.

If I could give 0 stars I would. The worst place ever. Had to bring my dog there because of construction in my home. When we picked her up she looked starved. Literally her ribs were showing and she had a cut by her eye. I’m so upset. I never write reviews but I need to make sure no one brings there dogs there. My poor baby is SO skinny. Horrible.

We have been using Cozy Noses for years and have depended on them greatly the last two years with our boxer. They are extremely attentive to all the dogs and our boxer is always happy and eager to return.

Very happy with the service and accommodation for our dogs while we were away. Drop off and pick up hours are limited though.

Its our 2 dogs home away from home. They have people that care more about my dogs, than my doctor cares about me. I feel great leaving my dogs in their care.

What a great place to bring your loved ones dont even have to have an appointment they always take me right away even with my Chloe shes a handful but youre always Pleasant and really look out for the animals and theyre not even expensive

Very clean boarding establishment. The people are caring and concerned for the animals left in their care. They also require the animals are up to date with their inoculations, especially bortdella.

Very happy with this kennel service.We were a long time user of Quail Run kennel, but found their demeanor was lacking, and our dog learned to fear the owner.

Our dog loves this place and so do we. They take good care of the guests and are very accommodating of special requests. Highly recommended

I brought my dog there while I went on vacation about 10 months ago, he has never been the same , multiple fights with other dogs because they’re left outside all day and night unsupervised, they are brought in 3 hours of the day or so very unprofessional

This place has been the worst boarding facility I have ever used. My 2 dogs came back to me looking like they were not fed at al . We could see their ribs and their gums were white as if they were kind of dehydrated. I didnt want to pay them but I was obligated to. I spent over $1000 to board them for a couple of weeks. I highly do not recommend this place. I also know that one of my dogs were skittish when I got them back and it has taken me almost a week to get him out of it. I will definitely be attempting to contact the owners.
