We absolutely love Rachel and have been taking both of our dogs to her classes for the past year - from obedience 101 to fun classes like scentwork. Rachel hosts small and intimate classes which allow her to understand your dog (& know your dog) and is very intentional about how to communicate with them so they are set up for success. What we appreciate about Rachel is that she really cares about every dog she works with and will go above and beyond to help you (the pet owner) be more in tune with understanding your dog and giving you to tools to be consistent on training outside of class. We love Rachel’s honest and transparent philosophy for dog training and she makes it very accessible for pet owners to help their dogs live more enriched lives. My husband and I have learned so much in the past year from Rachel and can see the relationship we’re building with both of our dogs grow stronger (also helps that they are a bit more obedient as a result πŸ˜…). We highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a dog trainer and feel fortunate that we found her.

Rachel was super helpful to us when we first got our brand new rescue puppy. She helped our dog with basic commands and gave us very helpful tips too. Almost two years later and we still reap the benefits of that important beginning training. Highly recommend.

Rachel came to our house and gave us a lot of helpful tips for some unwanted behaviors our puppy has. She was extremely thorough and very knowledgeable. I really liked how it was so personal and custom to specifically our dog’s breed and behavior. It was a lot of information but luckily Rachel summarized it all in an email I got the next day! We liked her so much, we’re going to enroll our pup in her 6 week manners class!

My Belgian Malinois mix, Eva, and I took a Scentwork class with Rachel. She is a fantastic trainer! Knowledgeable and extremely good natured, Rachel possesses a keen curiosity about what makes each individual dog tick. A stellar experience that we look forward to repeating with our new dog.

I worked with Rachel to help my dog with separation anxiety that was leading to destructive behavior. I can not say enough good things. I highly highly recommend her and will definitely be returning for future assistance if we need it.She worked with my schedule and we did virtual training so she could watch Aubrey while I stepped out of the home so we could recreate the most true to life situations. She made sure Aubrey would reach her threshold of anxiety but never go over it. It only took a couple of weeks of meeting 3 times a week for Aubrey’s behavior and stress to do a complete turn around. She’s so much happier and calmer. It’s been about 2 months since working with her and the changes have stuck. She also still checks in to make sure things are going well. Finally, she is so reasonably priced and allowed me to make weekly payments rather than trying to pay everything upfront. If you’re looking for a talented, compassionate dog training, Rachel is your woman.
