We’ve used Sitting Pretty twice now, we are just temporary residents to the area. Both times they have been amazing. The first time our 5 mos old mini ALD was “typical” in their grooming needs however the second time we needed them our almost 8.5 mos old ALD was matted and tangled. We hadn’t anticipated what the wind and outdoor living on our boat full time would do to him. What I appreciated most was the fact that they were not judgmental of the condition of our pup, they heard my concerns and let me know up front what they would likely need to do. My pup has responded well to all of their staff and everyone is as friendly and accommodating (even after I inadvertently no showed a scheduled appointment). I highly recommend this groomer for how well my pup has responded to their handling and care and for how they have handled and cared for my ignorance of his grooming needs. Our pup has been our first pup that required grooming and they were very helpful in providing education that I requested. They never passed judgment on me and for that I was greatly appreciative. If you’re looking for a quality grooming experience then this is your place.

We were in town on vacation with our two Golden Retrievers when we saw this grooming salon. On a whim, we decided to call to see if they took walk-ins for nail clipping. They got us right in and did a great and quick job on our girls. Neither one loves that environment but they did well under Aimees care. Our 7 year old also got the Dremel treatment in addition to the nail clipping. This was not done on the pup, however. I didnt know that beforehand but Im still happy with the care, the service, and the price for this much needed grooming. Thank you!

Our Portuguese Water Dog puppy had his first haircut last week and he looks fabulous! We will definitely bring him to Sittin’ Pretty for his regular grooming. Thank you for taking such good care of our dog!

My sisters and father have been customers for a long time. We took our golden doodle in today, and couldnt be happier! They are wonderful with the animals and made Ebony look beautiful!!! Will definitely make them our permanent groomers and recommend to anyone looking for an excellent groomer. Thank you!!!

My schnoodle is 8 years old and with the exception of the first 2 times she was groomed by another groomer, she has been groomed by Lynn at Sittin Pretty. The staff at Sittin Pretty are kind and gentle with the animals and they are always accommodating. My dog turns herself inside out when she sees Lynn she adores her and she is always groomed to perfection. In 8 years we have never had any problems or been displeased with the excellent grooming service we have received. I have since moved back to Syracuse from Mannsville but I still make the almost 80 mile trip to Chaumont to Sittin Pretty where I know my dog Tootie will be well groomed and cared for.

We are so lucky to have such an amazing groomer right here in town! Lynn, the owner, and all of her employees are so friendly! She always takes such exceptional care of my dog, Blossom! We would not go anywhere else and highly recommend this establishment!

I have taken my dogs to other groomers and have had very bad experiences. I work a lot of hours and usually have a hard time getting my dogs in before they get matted. Lynn and her staff welcome me every time and never judge me for it. They always do what is needed for my dogs. If my dog gets shaved all the way down it’s because I didn’t get them groomed soon enough. My dogs haven’t complained once.

I just took my dog there Friday and they cut his hair really short and uneven. His whiskers are gone. You can see his skin from how short his hair is. He has cuts on his ears. And they are bugging him. I will never bring my dog back there.

We bring my newfie here every 3 months or so for full service grooming. We love the staff and so does he. We have never had any issues and he always comes home smelling and looking amazing!
