Heathers Dog School (formerly Clever Paws Training)

We did private lessons with Heather and could not be happier with the training we received. Our biggest concern was leash walking with our 80 pound dog, he would pull and drag us everywhere. Heather helped us fix all that. Now he walks very nicely even when taking a hike in the woods and our walks are much more pleasant. Heather is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I recommend her training to anyone looking to strengthen their bond with their fur babies.

I signed up with Heathers online monthly subscription program Heathers Puppy School and it has been a game changer. As someone who has owned dogs all her life, I recently got a new Border Collie Puppy named Oakley, and let me tell you having a BC is like nothing i have trained before. Heather herself owns and trains BC so i knew she was the right person to help me on my journey. Her online program breaks down not only basic puppy skills but also real life skills that i can use and practice with my older dogs. I love the feedback she provides, the helpful one on one service if i get stuck on something and need help. We also are involved on her dog agility foundations at home which is perfect to do during the winter with a super active pup! Everything i need to work on i can do right in my living room and i dont need expensive equipment to train my dog right. Since i have found Heather my dog training skills have gotten so much better and I owe it all to her and her programs. Worth the time, money and effort for sure! 10/10 would recommend!!

We love Clever Paws! We have learned so much from Heather and her classes. I recommend Puppy Pre-School to everyone I know that gets a new puppy! We had so much fun and it really helped our dog get used to being around other dogs. Basic Obedience provided a great foundation to our ongoing training and we are looking forward to starting the second level.

After the 1st class our dog was learning so much and behaving better! Heather is very kind and understanding and takes her time to make sure you understand everything. Her facility is very clean and does not smell like a kennel which was very important to me! We cant wait to continue our classes with her!

I started out with puppy training and am now doing agility with my 1 1/2 year old dog.,could not be happier with the results.Heather has been fantastic as an instructor and has helped any time I have asked. She has a nice indoor facility so weather is not an issue and cant wait to start on the outdoor course as soon as weather permits. Well worth every minuet I spend there

Heather did a great job with my dog Maizekeen, which was not an easy task being that she has a ton of energy. She even got Maizekeen playing with another dog for the first time which was incredible. Highly reccomend.

I love “Clever Paws”. And my dog does too. Heather has been great and encouraging. Me and my dog learned a lot. And training classes were fun.

We are having so much fun in the puppy pre-school class! The instructional videos and book are very informative and most important of all: my dog LOVES it!! Looking forward to more classes!

I have enjoyed learning from Heather. Sometimes it is hard to see the little building blocks until they start to take shape but it was so worth the effort. I love going to class and so does Chico.

Heathers love for dogs and excellence in working with them makes it a great experience!
