Ks Canine

We love Ks Canine! It gives space for my dogs to get some needed exercise and socialization and I get peace of mind when I have to be gone all day. They even helped socialize my puppy. So much loving care by all the staff. Highly recommend

Training with Kaylee has been wonderful; it is of course hard work but so worth it. Her knowledge is impressive, as are her pedagogical skills. Both my dog and I have benefited more than I could have dreamed of. Because of Kaylee my little rescue dog has grown into a therapy dog who brings such joy and comfort to the residents and staff at a local nursing home. We have also visited RIT, some local schools, dentist office, etc.Not only are we continuing to train with Kaylee, but I also have the joy of tutoring her older child. The atmosphere there is wonderful. I can honestly say that I am asked often how my little rescue dog got to be so kind and well behaved and my answer is always Kaylee’s and her program.

I just wanted to thank Kaylee and all of our amazing clients for all of the wonderful experiences and knowledge that I have had since being hired here. The staff is so supportive and knowledgeable. I cant wait to see what the new year brings. Merry Christmas!

This place is always growing and improving! I know they have plans to replace the older building. They groomer is always so friendly and even helps with the dogs in the yard! If you have a problem anyone at the front desk will help...Way to go team

K’s has undergone such a transformation since opening several years ago. Kaylee continues to improve upon services and facilities and responds promptly to questions and customer needs. DONT TAKE YOUR ANIMALS HERE! They have rats, inside and outside. Your animals are running around with disease ridden rodents. Also I was talking with an employee and they said that they get paid on a 1099(commission only) and only makes $10 something an hour. Thought that was illegal now a days. Wont be taking my animals to the rat infestation.

My dogs had the best time at Ks Canine. They loved the doggie daycare and did so well with boarding there. They came home exhausted from playing with the other dogs. The staff is amazing and was able to give complete details of things that happened during their stay. Will definitely board with Ks again in the future.

*reply to owners post: July 8, 2021 at Tractor Supply was the last training with you. My dog is only 2-1/2 years old right now, so it couldnt have been 2019. Never went to the school for training, we did go to Babcock a few times and your place for a few group training sessions as well as a few 1:1 training sessions. I felt that you pushed the group sessions and didnt want to do 1:1, maybe that was due to you not having enough staff to help and maybe thats changed by now. Regardless, I understand the struggles when starting a business and wish you all the best and hope you take this as constructive feedback not a negative review.I tried basic training with K for my lab a few years ago and not impressed compared to training Ive had with my other dogs from other trainers. K is super friendly but didnt hear my needs. I was really disappointed with the last training session when I had to remove my dog early, sent a text to K and never had a response from her. That was the last time I went, due to lack of communication and follow through. Hopefully there has been improvements in organization and communication with her growth but unfortunately it leaves me to find training elsewhere.

We heard about K’s Canine on Facebook and decided to check them out for boarding our 2 pups. Not only were they very responsive, but Kaylee was super personable as well. We did a meet and greet before deciding to try out doggy daycare for a day then dog boarding for 12 days. Not only did the dogs come back tired but they came back happy as well. You could immediately tell they were comfortable at K’s and the environment. Kaylee sent updates, photos and videos while we were gone so I knew our fur babies were being taken care of just as they would be at home!! I HIGHLY recommend Kaylee and her team at K’s Canine!!

We took our dachshund mix for a couple of days with Kaylee. She took a lot of time and trained her to be a bit more social and teaches her to play well with others! We are truly appreciative of her services. Lilly had great success and tonight was able to play with a dog she had never gotten along with prior. I got a puppy about 3 years ago and brought him to Kaylee for puppy training, she did a great job teaching me and my pup. she was very patient with me and my puppy. Recently I have used Ks for doggie day care, and boarding. Colt loves going there and playing with the other dogs. she treats all the dogs like they are her own. Her rates are reasonable and i fully trust her with my dog. would 100% recommend Ks!

Took my dog there for a grooming appointment. All the staff were friendly. The groomer took the time to ask questions and discuss my options. Never had a dog that needed grooming so that was very nice. Very good price for the quality of grooming, which was also excellent. My dog looked amazing upon pickup. She called when she was about 15 minutes out from being done so I knew when to leave to head over to pick her up.

I take all 4 of my dogs to Kaylee. One of which is a therapy dog in the Dansville CSD. Kaylee is open to all training methods and will work with what works best for you and your family. It is a family run business and she has her son very much involved with the dogs (which I love!). Kaylee answers all of my questions and goes above and beyond for my dogs and our family. She frequently comes and picks Rory up from school when I need her to and doesn’t blink an eye in doing so. She treats my dogs as if they were her own. I am 100% confident my newest pup, Libby, would not be where she is in the training process without Kaylee. I can ask Kaylee the night before for all my dogs to go to doggy day care or text her midday if I need them to stay longer (10-12 hours a day) as I coach softball, too, and she is more than willing to do whatever we need! Training a dog takes time and patience. Kaylee can give you all of the tools to be successful, but you have to choose to implement them and put in the work at home, too. Once you get the hang of it, it becomes natural and she is always there to offer more tips and suggestions! I hands down would recommend Kaylee to anyone needing training services for their dogs. After all, she does have numerous dogs working in schools around the area, nothing can speak more highly than that :-)

Weve been bringing our Boxer for doggie daycare since we adopted her. We got her from a friend who had to rehome her because she was,aggressive toward the other dogs in the home. Thanks to Kaylee, she has learned to love playing with other dogs. She gets very excited when she knows its daycare day. We cant recommend Kaylee highly enough.

We have a 5 month old puppy that was not trusted off the leash and would not listen to us. So we contacted Kaylee to help us. She worked with our puppy and it was like she literally talked to him and we went home and kept training him and now he is able to walk off the leash and he listens completely. Kaylee is such a great person and I trust her 100%. We will still be going back for some classes for sure. Just so he keeps up the good work. :)

I absolutely love Ks and will forever recommend her. We have been taking our dog since he was 8 weeks old, and I will never take him anywhere else! She is amazing with the dogs, very patient, and can help just about anyone! I recommend her 100%.

Kaylee and her staff are amazing. My 2.5 year old Rottie has gone to Ks since he came home with us. From training, to advice, boarding, nail night, daycare and grooming; We Love Ks!!!!!

LEAST STINKIEST KENNEL OF ALL TIME! All jokes aside, you couldnt ask for a cleaner place and the nicest people possible. Kaylee and the crew treat your dog like family! Highly recommended!

They did amazing. My sisters pups needed a cleaning and nails cut and Shelby was absolutely great she did amazing work with these two big fluffy pups. My sister is 100% satisfied, she does not have social media so I am posting for her.

I absolutely love working with K! I appreciate that she lets me train my dog the way I always have but also offers advice that fits our lifestyle. I enjoy meeting with the therapy classes and doing group sessions.

Kaylee came to our home to help us getour two dogs to be in the same room together. She shared many tips to help us. So far things have been good, still working daily as things improve!

She has helped my son train his dog to be a service dog . this is a very difficult training. the trainer must be very consistent .the owner also must be consistent . she has been very good with my son helping him to do the things at home to achieve the training tasks at home. home is where the real training is done , she has trained my son to do the training so his dog will learn successfully.

I love Kaylees approach to training and her passion for the work she does shows. She is incredibly flexible with schedule and makes the most of the one on ones my pup and I have had with her.

We go to see Shelbi for grooming and have also talked with Kaylee about some behavior issues. Shelbi is great with our senior dog, and Kaylee is highly regarded as a trainer.

Paid her $280 for 6 personal classes she suggested for my GSD (6 mths old then in Jan) mainly because my dog was chasing the cats and I also wanted some socialization as well.I dreaded going there after first totally unorganized first session....not to mention she looked like she just rolled out if bed. 2nd class she had to ask me why I was there....really? Big red flag. Interruptions from family members 2nd and 3rd class, along with picture taking and texting to who ever.....I wanted to trade after 2nd class my 4 classes I had left for doggie day care - she wouldnt let me, so I was stuck paying all that money for something I didnt ask for. She offered to give a refund for two of the 3 days I had left - should of been all 6 but I took it because otherwise I signed her contract saying no refunds. That was a mistake signing because she didnt do a dang thing on her end to help my dog.So, two stars - one for each day she refunded me. I dont recommend her to anyone.
