Today was our first experience at Shampoodle and to say I am thrilled with the results would be an understatement! Wilbur is an 18 month old, 100lb doodle mix whose last experience with a groomer wasn’t favorable. Wilbur’s appointment was scheduled with Sammy, their kind demeanor and interest in his experience with them was felt immediately when we entered the salon. Sammy took the time to listen to any concerns or requests I had with Wilbur. When leaving, Sammy assured me Wilbur was in good hands and I felt at ease. I was updated midway though his appointment on timing when he would be completed. I picked Wilbur up and he was beautifully groomed, happy and comfortable with the staff and other pups at the salon! I am thrilled with the experience both myself and my pup received at the hands of Sammy. I highly recommend booking your next appointment with Shampoodle, especially Sammy if you’re looking for a fantastic grooming experience!

Great place. I have husky mixes with 2 coats (3if you count mine) and the do a great job of reducing the shed factor with the FURMINATOR.

This is an amazing place. The staff are caring and professional. My 2 pups love going.

The staff was very friendly from the very beginning getting us all set up. They provide you shampoo and conditioner a nice brush to scrub while youre shampooing. The spray on the hose worked well for a dog with long fur and a pretty tight undercoat. There is a clip to hold the dog but its almost too short I think Ill bring my own next time. They provided towels and we had even forgotten our hair brush which they loaned us super nice! Theres even a hair dryer that you can use and its definitely strong enough to dry the hair very well thats if your dogs not afraid of it. We definitely will come back again thank you very much for the nice facilities!

Zack took amazing care of our mini Aussie Daisy! Great communication and he was very patient with her anxious puppy self! If you are looking for a groomer who obviously takes pride in their work and adores dogs, I cannot recommend and thank Zack enough! We will definitely be FURever customers!!

I love this place because it’s first-come-first-served and there’s never a wait. I only use the self-serve bath tub stations and then have an employee cut my dog’s nails. It’s set up properly as far as height and accessibility. I appreciate that the water temp is controllable and the blow dryers can be throttled. Friendly staff. Wish there was a loyalty program such as a punch card.

Great. Very happy. Our dog is happy to go in and happier coming out all clean. She smells great. They do a great job on nails. You can tell they really care about the animal.

A great place to bring your pup for a refresher and not have to clean your bathroom up after doing so. Worth every penny in my book. We will be back again and again!

I take my dog to Shampoodle at least once a week for daycare. The price cant be beat, and she goes crazy when I say, Want to go see the puppies.Staff is all very friendly, and every time I pick her up, shes wiggling just as much as when I dropped her off.

I’ve been using them for years and they always do a great job. They even snuck me in the week before Christmas after my dog found some mud. I would highly recommend them.

I’m sadly, moving away but I couldn’t leave before leaving a stellar review for Shampoodle. I absolutely love the care both Zack and Jessica gave me goldendoodle, Levi. They are 100% professionals and I always feel at ease leaving Levi with them. I’m always so impressed with how well of a thorough job they do in grooming Levi. I have ALWAYS left Zack or Jessica being 100% satisfied. To top it all off, Levi just adores them! I hope I can find just as amazing groomers in Raleigh!

Took my two small senior pups here December 2nd - haircuts were uneven and their nails weren’t all clipped properly. I called to speak to someone about this and got a machine, left a message and never heard back.Unfortunately I will look elsewhere for a groomer for my girls.Update: Shampoodle contacted me and offered to fix the groom and nails and apologized for what happened.I brought dogs in and they made it right.I will use them again.

They were great! When I called to make my appointment, they were very accommodating. I had asked just for a wash and brush, but when I got there I also asked for my dogs feet to be trimmed on top and bottom. There was not a groomer on site at this time, but the woman who took care of my Leonberger did a wonderful job on her feet.I would also like to say that they have great prices. I have already booked my other Leonberger for the same treatment.

Brimley was groomed by Zack. Zacks attention to detail is wonderful. Brimley is comfortable with him and Zack is friendly, personable, and professional.

I brought my dogs here this past weekend and have multiple times in the past, and they always look great. They get the defurminator baths, and this past time it doesn’t look like anything was done besides their nails cut. My husky is still shedding in clumps which never happens after he has a grooming bath, it looks as if he wasn’t brushed out after to get off the excess fur. I called to express my concerns, I had to leave a message because it was a holiday weekend and they were closed and no one even bothered to return my phone call. No one mentioned anything at check out if they had any issues and they were there longer than usual this time as well.So- Thanks! I’ll never be returning.** replying to I didn’t call right away because I dropped them off to a babysitter because we were leaving for vacation shortly after I got home and didn’t notice till Monday morning how awful they looked!

I brought my two dogs here to get baths. When I arrived an employee later determined to be Stephanie took our 6 month old puppy and brought her inside but was yanking on the leash and gagging my dog. I was quite annoyed but decided to keep my cool and just leave it alone. After she hooked my dog to the platform where the dogs were placed, she walked into the back where she was yelling at the other dogs at the facility and raised her hand to one of them like she was threatening to hit one of them and then got on the phone and acted like I wasnt even there, I wanted to make sure I was all set to leave them there... This was all witnessed right in front of me. I thought this was strange since we have never had an issue. We were contacted an hour and a half after I brought the dogs in for a basic bath telling us the dogs were done. My fiancé contacted them and said she would be there to get them at 3pm since that was the earliest we could get them due to our work schedules. Stephanie told us they would be charging us extra even though we had never been told that in the past and its not listed anywhere.. I am disappointed in this specific employee because weve never had a problem until today. Stephanie was not friendly or patient with the dogs there. The owner was very nice and accommodating after my fiancé picked the dogs up and explained what the policy was for picking up dogs after they are finished. I appreciate the owner and glad the issue was resolved, however, I would consider evaluating that specific employees ability to do her job.

Great place!!New to the area and was looking for a DIY dog wash, stopped at a few that were “vending machine” style and they were awful.This place was great, the staff was so pleasant and nice, and they had everything we needed to get both the pups washed and dried. Couldn’t ask for anything more, highly recommend!!

Brook and Sam are amazing with Koda. They always execute the image of how I want him to look all year round. Specific summer and Winter cuts.

Really high quality grooming service for a great price. Brooke is able to get my dogs matting out and she is so good with his crazy self. Always so happy with how he looks. Definitely recommend!

Sara does such a great job grooming my yorkie, Ozzie. It usually only takes her about an hour for his shampoo and cut.Highly recommend.

Ive been taking my dogs here for about 8 years. Busy little place but can always find a do-it-yourself spot. Groomers are busy people but kind and reasonable. It can be loud in there sometimes especially from the doggy day care. I like that I can go in get the bath and blow dry done myself, ask staff to cut nails and its quick with no huge mess to clean 😁

Brought our 90+ lb, skittish, Lab/Akita mix in for a wash/de-shed/nail trim. Absolutely incredible service. She came out clean and happy and weve added years to the life of our vacuum cleaner. Highly, highly recommend this place! Well be back with both of our dogs for regular visits. Thank you to Ginny and the crew from all of us!

Love this place. Very unassuming and great service time and time again. They are very prompt in responding to texts. My dogs Max and Vito look amazing every time they get groomed. If I could I’d take them there every week!

Love this place. Sam did a great cut for my golden doodle last week and we couldnt be happier! Staff is efficient, quick, and courteous. Also love the do it yourself $13 baths when our dog gets really muddy. Love everything about this place.

$70.20 for a crooked hair cut and my dogs head was trapped under the gate in the little waiting area. I entered hearing clunk clunk, I looked over and she was pinned to the floor. Very disturbing and disappointed by this. Nobody stopped to see what was happening until I entered and saw it.

The last time I brought my 2 small dogs there they didnt do the job. I brought my morkie there a few months ago and she was supposed to get a trim, nails and shampoo. What I got was a dog who was not shampooed, nails barely touched and a poor job on the trim. I paid 55 plus a tip and got squat. My other dogs, when I have the nails done they come back still long. These small dogs nails grow back fast so I expect this done accurately.Stay and watch them, because they dont always do what you ask.

I have been bringing my dogs to Shampoodle in Delmar, NY for many years. I highly recommend them. The staff is very accommodating whether you are taking the bathe your dog yourself option or full service bath and groom by their staff. They are very knowledgeable regarding how to proceed with a cut or trim depending on the breed (or mixed breed as we currently have). I highly recommend them to any one with a Chihuahua to a Great Pyrenees. You will be highly satisfied with the results.

Cant say enough good things about this grooming shop. My dogs have always been well groomed and the atmosphere is friendly, the shop well kept. Their grooming fees are more than fair. I highly recommend them.

When our regular groomer wasnt available, we took our mature Schnoodle to Shampoodle for grooming. They did an excellent job at a reasonable price. Our dog was very comfortable there and liked the women groomers. I would happily recommend them to people looking for a new groomer.

Today was my dogs first day!💜 Just moved from my apartment where I had a bathtub into a house with only a stand-alone shower. I made the decision to go to this very clean, organized facility & it was Easy!First come, first serve service.5 rooms with little gates, they provided with a smock for the owner, Fresh towels & other necessities for properly washing your dog. Love that the temp & pressure of water were adjustable!My dog is VERY well behaved for bath time. It was easy getting her to walk up the ramp, into the tub where she could be tied in. So she wouldnt jump out. 🤣Shes been previously blow dryer trained. The blowers they use were powerful and helped release ALOT of excess fur.Love that!It was under 20 bucks, the staff was friendly & informative. I believe I found our new spot for Doggie Spa Dayz! 😊

Desperately needed a place to groom my cat who had tons of unmanageable mats in very long fur. When no other local place was available or worked with cats, I was able to get a speedy appointment for a good price. Our little fluffball needed to be shaved down but it came out well and was worh it. The groomer was so friendly and even gave us tips for managing mats in the future. Thank you!

Its a great place to take your dog for a bath. I washed and dried her, and saved money by doing it myself. They did the nail trim quickly and it wasnt expensive.

Weve been using Shampoodle for years and we have visited all three locations. Sometimes we DIY and others drop off service. I have a 7 year old Siberian husky who does not like to be brushed and gets really anxious when there is a lot of activity. We dropped her off for grooming the day before Thanksgiving. The did an amazing job and she was ready in an hour! She got so many compliments by our holiday guests, I told everyone where to go for grooming services. Thank you for the years of awesome customer service you have given us!

I brought both of my dogs to shampoodle after picking them up at a boarding facility where theyve been multiple times before. We went in and used their DIY dog wash. My older dog is great for being bathed and despite their shampoo being so watered down it was mostly water itself and the tub being covered in other dogs hair (which I understand happens at a grooming facility) I wasnt concerned. We did use the provided shampoo and conditioner when we visited (my dogs dont have any allergies or sensitivities) but I brought my own brush to use (that was brand new). The groom itself went fine but a few days (three) later my dog started to experience back pain. We started her on multiple medications but nothing seemed to help. Two more days went by and I realized that my dog had scabs all along her back (and only her back). She was diagnosed with post groom furunculosis at that time and started on a six week round of antibiotics. We had to shave her entire back to expose the bleeding, oozing sores that covered it. At the time we diagnosed her with this condition (which was contracted at this facility), I Facebook messaged their page. After receiving no response for several days I emailed the owner who did answer me the next day, but didnt seem to think this could be related to her facility at all. She insisted that her shampoo bottles are cleaned after every use (yet somehow theres gunk and film all on the shelves and the bottles themselves) and that they clean everything thoroughly after each client uses it. I personally wont be returning to this facility for the future.Ginny did offer for me to come in and have my dogs shave job cleaned up a little but I declined.

Shampoodle is a life saver! My standard poodle is incredibly anxious to the point that other companies including our vet were suggesting that she get medicated for groomings. She would defecate on herself and throw up. It was so stressful and heart breaking to watch her go through so much anguish. Being a standard poodle grooming is not an option! Then someone told me about shampoodle and that they will let you stay with your pet if need be and you can even wash them yourselves. Susie is a different dog when getting groomed now! All it took was me being able to stay by her side. Thats all she needed to feel safe. Not a full day of being drugged and scared! Any company or groomer that wont let you see what theyre doing to your dog is shady in my opinion. Shampoodle is the opposite of any grooming experience Ive had or heard of. They dont have to hide what theyre doing or stick your dog in a small crate to dry so they can get in as many grooms as possible. You can be confident that they are treating your pet with kindness. I will never go anywhere else. They were a bright light in a desperate situation for my pup and me. Ill be forever grateful. Thank you Shampoodle for your understanding and kindness. It means more than you know!

We just moved to the area from across the country and have visited twice. Each time, me and my dog, Jake were welcomed. When I picked up Jake, he smelled great and his coat was very soft. The employees are very patient and answered all my questions. We will be going back.

The owner and staff here are great. Welcomed me and then provided awesome advice while I washed my dog and had my other dog washed by them. Even helped trim both their nails aftewards. Will definitely return.

The staff here is very polite and professional. They do a wonderful job at making your pet feel good and look good as well. The price for the service is very well priced also.

UPDATE: The owner reached out to me and offered to give Simba a bath and do a free touch up cut. He returned a very happy pooch, will continue to bring Simba here.I have been going here for a while, but my last trip here they didnt bathe him and his cut was poorly done. This was my first trip to the 340 Delaware ave locale.

Shampoodle LLC is a great business that is affordable on the pocket and effective if youre looking for a place to drop your pooch off for a quick wash. They are dog whisperers who know how to handle your dogs with care, affection and keep them smelling nice. My dog loves the scarf they give him. He sleeps with it at night in bed. If youre looking for the option to wash your dog youself then you can do so because it is cheap and affordable. There is a stal available for a DIY dog wash with soap, scrub brush, towels, and conditoner offered in the dog wash.

Been a couple of times now and they take great care of my petrified lab. Shes relaxed and feeling great when I return to pick her up after her puppy spa time.

They did an amazing job!!! Highly recommend. Will use again in the future.

Terrible owner. Over works and under pays 15/16 year olds and fires them when she gets bored. (She hires these kids illegally aswel) doggy day care is sad, no toys, no outside time besides to pee every so hours and uncontrolled dogs. Kept in groups of 12-15 in a small room with about 3 available seats to be in. Would never let my dogs near such a place, and Id never go near the owner again. But shes never in her own store anyways. Dont go here, your dog may just be happy to get out

We love Shampoodle for our 3 pups! Tonight we had the dogs at the dog park, they had a fun time but were so muddy! I called Shampoodle to see how late they were open, unfortunately they were closing in 20 minutes. When Tracy heard that the dogs were all muddy from the dog park, she told us to bring them over- shed stay open-She couldnt let them go home like that! When we arrived, she had a tub waiting for us. She even helped dry the dogs for us. Thank you Tracy!

The girls are nice, the manager not so much. Facilities need a LOT of love. Needs a fresh coat of pain, some drain cleaner and ceiling tiles that arnt falling down. That being said the core business itself is nice.

Came in for a nail trim and to check out the place. It was clean, the dogs that were being groomed were all in good spirits and it is affordable. I cant wait to try out the other services.

I love the convenience of this place. My dog hates getting bathed and just much easier on him and me to bring him here and wash him in their raised tubs. I have never tried any of their other services.

We have tried out several groomers in the area for our doodle and by far Shampoodles does the best job.

We had an amazing experience with Shampoodle after having an appointment cancelled on us at the last minute yesterday for our goldendoodle! When we called to inquire for any last minute availability they took down our information and found one of the groomers to squeeze us in! Over the past year we have tried several local groomers and this is by far the best haircut our doodle has had. We will definitely be coming back to Shampoodle for all future cuts!

I am beyond disappointed. I booked an appt for my elderly dog 2 weeks ago. Someone crossed me out in their appointment book and they let me walk out without grooming my dog. Why don’t they call people to confirm appointments!! My dog is nervous and has to take medication in order to keep her calm in the car. They didn’t look overly busy but let me walk out! I won’t be back and will tell my clients about my experience.

I love shampoodle. You can go and wash your own dog but they also have grooming services. I like that there is somebody there that can clip my dogs nails because it takes two people to hold her down while another person clips. We get our dog washed and her toe nails clipped for under $15 so this works out great for us. If you wash your own dog they provide the shampoo and conditioner as well as a blow dryer so that your dog doesnt have to leave soaking wet.

Never going there again. My 18 year old dog caught a staph infection from an unsanitized tub. I contacted the owner who while sounding concerned, did not sound suprised. She said she would reimburse the vet bill but I never heard from her again. It has cost me 2 trips to the vet and 300 dollars. The infection travelled to her bladder. this has caused terrible pain and discomfort to my dog and now she has a permanently weak bladder. Its very distressing that my dog will more than likely suffer the rest of her life because of this.
