Bark and Breakfast is the best place we have ever taken our dog to for overnight care! Alexis treats every dog like her own and is extremely patient and kind. She sent pictures, videos and updates everyday. It was so nice to enjoy our vacation and not have to worry about our pup!

My pup absolutely loves going to Bark and Breakfast! As a 13-month-old spayed Bichpoo, she enjoys playing with her friends at daycare. Alexis has gated acres for the dogs to run and play, providing plenty of stimulation through group play and the toys available.Alexis is incredibly knowledgeable and treats each pup like her own. She conducts an initial interview to ensure a good fit and keeps us updated with photos and messages throughout the day. The facility offers both daycare and overnight stays, where your pup can feel right at home, sleeping comfortably with their friends.I’m so happy we found Bark and Breakfast. We can rest easy knowing our pup is in such great hands!

I would highly recommend Alexis as a walker or sitter.Alexis is very attentive to my dog Jacks moods and notices when he’s acting different She always send pictures, videos and updates. She is always on time. Would give more than five stars if possible

Alexis is simply the best and I am so relieved to have found her. My mini dachshund, Hans, becomes anxious whenever I leave to go on a trip, but since he has been going to bark and breakfast he is very calm and relaxed when he comes home. Hans has made many new friends, especially Margot! Alexis treats every dog as if they were her own. She also keeps me updated and sends lots of pictures and videos, which is so appreciated. I can enjoy my time away because I know Hans is safe and well cared for. Alexis is flexible and very easy to work with. I highly recommend!

I highly recommend taking your dog to Alexis. She is amazing! She treated our puppy like she was her own. I loved seeing the daily pictures and videos. She has a big fenced in yard which is great for the dogs to run around and play. I know Sadie will be very happy to go back!

After the boarding place I normally use shut down, I was scrambling to find a place quickly for my dog before my next trip. I found bark and breakfast! My dog was quickly evaluated to see if he would get along with the other pets in the house, we did a quick overnight stay as well, and then he was good to go. The owner of bark and breakfast is very prompt and courteous and has a special place in her heart for pets. She is open to all the needs of the pets, has many services that she can provide, and the price is competitive. I love the pictures that she sent that showed how much fun my dog was having, especially because this was our first time trying her out. I would definitely go back again.

I recently had the pleasure of using Bark and Breakfast for my first time boarding, very nervous dog and I couldnt be more impressed and pleased with the service. The care provided was exceptional; Alexis demonstrated an incredible level of patience and kindness that truly made a difference for my dog. I would advise everyone to pay attention to the other previous one star review that Alexis has. We had a very similar experience today. Mind you, she knows she is accepting a puppy. Our puppy is an approximately 1 yr old shepherd mix. Everything had been going well, she was even sending us videos throughout the day (this was to put us at ease because of the aggression her dog showed at drop off). When my wife picked up our puppy, we were told that our dog had gotten out through a window and was running around in the front yard loose! This apparently happened because she had to leave to do something in Vestal! So not only did my dog get out due to Alexis negligence, but she wasnt in there. Poor puppy was running around loose for god knows how long. I would caution anyone from leaving there canine children with Alexis, and I really hope her current customers see who they are leaving their family with.Just want to add an update. Since seeing the review, Alexis felt it neccesary to text my wife and tell her this review was cowardly. She also felt we should give her a chance. Im sorry, you couldnt watch our child and let her out. No we arent giving you another chance. You should consider yourself lucky you even got paid. Our puppy has been cowering on the couch since being home because of how much she is traumatized thanks to you.

Last Summer my wife and I were looking for a good place to board our dog while attending an upcoming out of town wedding. Following a thorough online search, we found a posting for Bark and Breakfast.We scheduled a visit with Alexis so she could meet our dog, Josey, and for the opportunity to see the environment where our dog would be spending a few days while we were away. We were immediately impressed with the home and surroundings where Alexis lived, including a large fenced in yard in a nice Endwell neighborhood. We were very pleased with her instant outward affection toward our dog and her relaxed behavior. We were delighted to see that this dog boarding environment was more like home and devoid of the usual cages that you see at most kennels.Alexis has become our choice for all of our pet boarding needs. She is kind, compassionate, caring, and knowledgeable. We have used the boarding services at Bark and Breakfast several times now and we are so pleased with Alexis and her care of our beloved pet. She even sends text messages while we are away, including photos of our dog. We highly recommend Alexis for a different boarding experience compared to traditional kennels.

My dog Bubz, an older chocolate lab, has stayed with Alexis overnight on several occasions and its been smooth sailing each time! Alexis gives constant communication and is helpful with the fact Bubz doesnt do great with stairs anymore (hips!) and gets joint medicine with his food. Alexis’s Doggy Daycare is hands down the best! As a frequent traveler with my Sheepadoodle Henry, I’ve experienced various daycare options, but Alexis’s stands out. Henry was at her daycare for months, and he thrived there. Alexis goes the extra mile, providing a pool and a ball pit for the pups. Boarding with her was seamless too. Highly recommend her for top-notch care and fun-filled days for furry friends!

Alexis treats our lab Louie like hes part of the family! Excellent daycare and boarding. Lots of space to run and play in a safe location.

Mia has gone to Alexis several times.She makes it a like your home atmosphere.Mia is timid and Alexis had her on a walk and playing with her dog Margo and other dogs.Great environment. I highly recommend taking your dog here.

After numerous other boarding facilities we came across Alexis site. Not only were we surprised but our Brandi came home happy, clean and exhausted. Highly recommend Alexis- she is the dog whisperer.

Alexis is absolutely phenomenal! I am always very weary when it comes to care for my senior dacshund, but have no worries when he is at Bark and Breakfast. Alexis provided many updates and photos throughout Peteys stays which definitely made me feel at ease. He also is a very anxious dog in general, and Alexis went above and beyond to ensure he was comfortable. In all, Alexis is very attentive and her love and care for animals shines through!

My puppy loves going to daycare at Bark and Breakfast. She gets lots of time outside and exercise but also gets chance to nap during the day. Its a huge stress relief for me to know shes somewhere getting love and having fun while Im at work.

My two dogs go to bark and breakfast regularly for daycare and also overnights when we go on vacations. We have been doing this for about a year and it’s been great for us. Alexis does an awesome job and takes excellent care of my dogs. I always know my dogs are safe and well taken care of when they are there and the dogs love being there. There are always lots of other dogs there to play with and run around in her nice backyard. Highly recommend for anyone who works outside the home and wants peace of mind knowing that their dogs are getting plenty of exercise and play during the day.

Lily and I are so lucky we found Alexis! She is very knowledgeable, asking questions before you can think of them and offering helpful tips. She’s attentive and caring with all of her dogs and excellent at keeping you informed. She even sent me reminders about Lilys medication. After Lily’s first visit, we weren’t sure she would be able to return because she was frightened of the other dogs and had extreme separation anxiety —I’m writing about my big 2 1/2 year old German Shepherd! Three visits later, Lily is playing with her new furry friends and looking to Alexis as her second mom. I would highly recommend Alexis. She makes you feel at ease knowing your pupper is in such good hands.

Alexis is seriously the best! My husband and I are first time pet parents and had to go out of town for a few days, we were a bit nervous because we weren’t sure how our dog would react with other animals because she’s young and she’s an only child! Lol. But Alexis assured us she would do fine and she did. She’s very patient and loving with them. The process was super smooth and we loved the fact that she makes sure all animals are up to date with vaccines, fleas/ticks ect. Lots of room for them to play and interact. All of the dogs are pretty well behaved and even the bigger ones played gently with our baby! Her personal dog Margo is also super sweet and makes sure everyone is following the rules and playing nice! lol. Alexis is fantastic, and worth every penny. If we ever need a dog sitter in the future I wouldn’t trust anyone else. Highly recommend! ❤️

Bark and Breakfast, I can’t say enough how awesome my dogs experiencs have been.. Alexis has incredible knowledge and care for her animals. From day to overnight visits. The animals have full range of the house, which is fantastic, never locked up in a cage. Always goes out of her way to make the customer happy from humans to animals. would highly recommend.

Alexis is great! I appreciate that she sends picture updates, the dogs are in a cozy home environment with a large yard to run in, and that she does meet and greets first with new clients, ensuring all of the dogs are safe. My special needs (deaf) pup loves her.

We booked last minute with Alexis & she made the experience absolutely wonderful! She went over & beyond for Max and sent tons of pictures/videos from our stay. Next time we are in the area, we will definitely be using her again. She treated Max as her own & made me feel so comfortable leaving him. Alexis is the best dog sitter you could hope for. She is so good with our dog and he is always happy when he’s there. She is also a very good communicator always sending updates, pictures, etc. I love that she is an option for us!

Alexis took very good care of my dog, Krypto, and was always accommodating to my hectic work schedule. Another big plus is that she always send great pictures of the dogs while they’re under her care!

It was through a recommendation that we found Alexis. A meet-and-greet was held on Thursday, December 7, 2023. Everything seemed to go smoothly. Both of our 10 month old Pomsky puppies (15 pounds each) were engaged and, although nervous around larger dogs over 30 pounds, seemed to get along nicely. The vibe felt great and she seemed knowledgeable answering all our questions. We chatted and then set up a few times to do daycare to get them used to her home setting before leaving for vacation. On Tuesday Dec 12, 2023 I dropped off my two pups around 12pm for their 8 hour stay (since I worked 1p-9p). At 5:05pm I received a call from Alexis that one of our pups somehow got out of her back yard and had been missing... and she had only been out of the puppys sight for about 5 minutes, as she had some documents she needed to review inside. Thank GOD we had Apple Air Tags on both pups. The bad part was, Im an Android user so my spouse, who was out of state for work had the iPhone. Immediately I called to say drop everything and three way with Alexis and I to track her movements. I had to leave work to assist in the search. Callie was pinged across Country Club Road, almost 1/4 mile away 45 minutes after the call came in. Ultimately she was found. When I arrived to the scene, there were three Broome County Sheriff vehicles stopping traffic and one pointing a flashlight on her. In the end she was retried about 1/2 mile from Alexis home. Things that really turned me off to her were comments like (paraphrase) Shes still moving, at least she didnt get hit by a car. Her apology went something like (paraphrase) I cant believe how fast she is. I didnt notice she was gone ... I think it was about 40 minutes ... and even said, I know this was traumatic, I understand if you want to cancel their next puppy sitting appointment. I understand things happen. I was mostly disappointed that her apology was so nonchalant, she acted like it was no big deal, and there was never an offer to refund any portion of the money I paid for her. I know it was only $45, but not even an offer. contractually she had a significant responsibility to care for my puppy in my absence. In addition, I acknowledge that I should have done better research on her so I could speak with other clients about her. This experience was inexcusable. Just use your due diligence when trying out new places.

Found her on such short notice, was super friendly and professional. Got pictures and video durring my pups stay. Definitely would recommend and will definitely contact Alexis if I ever need a sitter.

Alexis was wonderful with Sebby. She sent pictures of him playing with the other dogs and fed him lunch. I definitely will use Alexis again, and Id be happy to recommend Alexis to anyone. Sebby had a wonderful time and was nice and tired for the rest of the night.

I actually connected with Alexis through her love for pets, we where friends for awhile but really came close when my dog got pregnant with her puppies. Alexis was looking for a dog right at the time mine was having them. I just remember her being so anxious and texting me everyday about them and when she could take one. She was coming over a lot to build her relationship with Margot and ultimately took her home forever! She loves my dog to death and takes him whenever she wants. I rarely even let my dog swim and get back in my car unprepared, but her on the other hand she doesnt mind one bit and she has a beautiful BMW just shows you the love she has for animals in general not just her own. Everything she does for the most part revolves around her pets and im very glad to have her around and involved with me and my dog. Having someone around to care and love for your dog when you cant as much is so humbling and I thank her for that always!

Hey there, Im Alexiss younger sister and while I may be biased, I can say that you wouldnt want to leave your pets with anyone else. When I was an undergraduate student, I had to leave my pets back at home as I was not allowed to bring them with me to college. While it was sad to not have my fur babies with me, I did not have one worry about their wellbeing with my sister watching them. She is very observant and in tune with all animals, those of her own and those who arent. She will make your pets feel like her children and provide a safe and comfy environment for them. P.S. I hope you dont mind coming back to lots of pictures of your dogs because she will have plenty to share and adore over with you!

My dogs always have the best time ever at Bark and Breakfast! She is quick to respond and has great availability. My dogs always come home tired and they love to play in the yard with all the other dogs! Would definitely recommend.

Alexis was amazing! She responds so quickly and is very organized with everything. Gus had so much fun with the other dogs that he didnt even realize I was gone. I like the personable experience that he gets at her home and the fenced in yard is perfect for letting the dogs play outside. She pays attention to each dogs needs and makes sure theyre all getting along. She also provides video and photo updates to ressure you that your dog is doing great. I highly recommend!!

My dog Thelma has stayed with Alexis a few times and always has a great time. She enjoys playing with her dog Margot and seeing her cats and makes friends with some of the other dogs in Alexis care. Its apparent that Alexis makes it a priority for the dogs in her care to get attention and she keeps them busy and happy. She also sends frequent texts and pictures which is appreciated.

Alexis was great with our golden doodle puppy during his weekend stay! During our first meeting she slowly introduced him to the other pups in her care to make sure it would be a good fit for all. We felt Archie was safe and in excellent hands while we were away, especially with her frequent updates and pictures. Her home is super clean and her yard is an amazing playground for lots of fun and exercise. We highly recommend Alexis to anyone looking for a caring and competent dog sitter!

We have two dogs, a very large and sloppy basset hound, and a shitzu lasa mix that is a very picky eater and is very selective with who she likes.They have stayed with Alexis more than once and they both absolutely love her.Our basset hound requires a lot of attention and work because he has skin issues, and Alexis very patiently wipes his neck down constantly. He was also not feeling great the last time he stayed there, and she was very concerned and was conveying everything to us along with pictures. Him not feeling well had nothing to do with staying with her, it had to do with his chronic skin issues.She also managed to get our other dog to eat, and to snuggle with her, which is unheard of.Alexis is very caring and wonderful with our dogs and I have no hesitation to recommend her to anyone I talk to.We love having her watch our babies.
