We’ve been using Planet Pooch for our new puppy for the past 6 months and I highly recommend! Especially Arielle, she takes so much time and you can tell how much she really cares for the dogs she grooms. And Winston looks his best when he comes back! You can’t beat the convenience of them coming to your house. Winston loves to see Arielle when she comes to the door, which makes me happy! Highly recommend!

I’ve been using planet pooch for almost a year now and love their service! I have a 128lbs lab who I used to take to different pet stores and groomers but I was always unsatisfied with having him wait in crates while other dogs were being groomed and it always took hours! Planet Pooch allows for a 1:1 service in the comfort of my driveway and they are always done in about 45 minutes. They also send me reminders every 6 weeks for grooming. My dog and I are very happy we found them!

We absolutely love Planet Pooch!!! We have been using them for years. Our Mini poodle Pete especially loves Chris, she is so gentle with him, and while he is typically nervous to “go to the groomer,” he runs toward Chris happily when he sees her. The convenience of having the groomer come to us is just delightful for us, and we always know Pete will come back smelling wonderful, with his ears clean, and a lovely cut! He is not an easy dog to groom, as he wiggles a lot, and needs a lot of calming to stay put, but he struts around proudly after his appointments, like he knows how handsome he looks!

As a work from home mama, I must say it’s been fantastic grooming my dog with Planet Pooch! I live in Uniondale, NY and it’s such a blessing to having a great grooming company that comes to my doorstep to groom my dog even in bad weather conditions. Not only are they extremely flexible, they groom exceptionally well and have great communication with their customers. My dog loves the groomers and his results are always beautiful!

We absolutely love Planet Pooch! We have a 7lb toy poodle (Rosie) who requires consistent grooming. We are always sure to book our appointments after each grooming for the following 6 weeks. It is a huge relief to know that Rosie is seen each time by the same groomer, Kris. Kris is always professional, keeps us updated on arrival times, and is always gentle with Rosie. It’s a huge relief to know that Rosie always returns safe/calm, beautifully groomed, and in a timely manner (no more all day grooming appointments). It is also a huge bonus/convenience that the van comes directly to our massapequa park home.

Can I just say my two dogs love being serviced now Chloe used to hate getting Baths and now when she sees Arielle she’s ready to go. Charlie is more like playtime for him now but when they get done, they look fabulous. Arielle is top-notch and I wouldn’t go to anybody else.

It’s a little pricey but it’s worth it. Planet Pooch is super convenient, we can get appointments pretty quickly and the groomers are always really friendly. I love how my child (my dog) looks and smells every time ! These pictures are nothing compared to the cute videos I take.

The staff of Planet Pooch are wonderful. My dog has a tendency to be a little scared at the beginning of her grooming sessions. Everyone who works with her is always sensitive to this. My dogs have been groomed by Planet Pooch since their inception when Andy started with one van. When I walked my dog people would stop me and ask who the groomer was. We have now moved but still use the company. Stephanie now grooms our dog and she could not be more wonderful and caring. Mickey looks so gorgeous that he was in Newsday!

After having multiple poor experiences with other groomers - I came across reviews for Planet Pooch. We have been using Planet Pooch since July 2023. Originally we lived in Rockville Centre and had such an amazing experience with Andrea.She was so kind and patient with our Portuguese Water Dog, Oscar, who is not easy to groom.Then as of March 2024, we moved to Wantagh and have been with Kris since then. Kris has also been phenomenal with Oscar as well.Our experience as couldn’t be any better. We have loved being with both groomers and feel confident leaving our pup in their care.

I’m on my 3rd groom and Meaghan, Bruno’s groomer, does an awesome job, every time! Great service isn’t a given, but Planet Pooch won’t let you down.

We just recently scheduled an appointment with Planet Pooch and we’re very happy with the results. We’re in East Rockaway and scheduling the appointment was easy. The van showed up on time and the groomer was very friendly and my dog, a 85 pound lag, took to her instantly. We requested a bath and nail clipping which was finished in about an hour. When she was done Sandy was happy and beautiful. We will use their services in the future.

We began using Planet Pooch during the pandemic, but now I’m a customer for life. We live in Oceanside and it was easy to find a day that fits my schedule at this location. The groomers are all wonderful, (a special shout out to Andrea) caring animal lovers and they do a great job. They are always prompt, and provide text updates to let you know when they’re on the way. And of course, it’s super convenient to have the groomer come to you. You may pay a little more, but it’s well worth it!

They always do a good job but today I had a groomer who did the BEST job. A GREAT job!!! Her name is Stephanie!!! She’s amazing. My Lucy’s haircut is perfect and she’s so clean, no knots. Kris is absolutely the BEST groomer ever! We have a puppy mill rescue from Puerto Rico who was afraid of everything and especially Loud and sudden sounds. I have used Planet Pooch for a long time now in Valley Stream area. I must have had all the groomers by now. They are all friendly, caring to my dog 🐕. I have changed treatment based on my dog needs. They brush her teeth, clean her ears and anal glands which is such a plus. I have been pleasantly satisfied. It may cost more than going to a groomer but the service of coming to my home and the groomers knowing my dog is so worth it. Try it you wont be disappointed.

Bella is a golden retriever who had her first grooming with Planet Pouch and I could not be more satisfied with their service. The van arrived on time at my front door. The BEST! Our dog gets really anxious with haircuts, especially in a loud environment, so this has been our go-to for him. So easy to book an appointment via text, too.We love asking for Dyana because our dog feels comfortable with her, but the whole team is great! Planet Pooch is great!!! Debbie is always on time and very good with our Parker. We tried local pet stores for grooming but you can’t beat door to door service and the care Debbie provides to our dog. Instead of spending 4 hours dropping off and picking up ,Parker is done in less than a hour and he’s very happy. No waiting in a cage for other dogs to get done. Parker is the center of attention for his grooming . We are very happy with Planet Pooch and Debbie!!!

Love, love, love Planet Pooch. We have a golden retriever, who has two defining characteristics: boundless nervous energy and infinite amounts of hair. Neither is ideal for a groomer, but Kris is able to handle both with an amazing expertise.Our dog may hesitate at first, but always eventually goes with Kris with a happy wagging tail. Kris does such a great job grooming him, and her knowledge goes beyond just aesthetics. She has a deep understanding of the science behind a dogs coat, and has given us tips on safe ways to maintain his coat between groomings. She has shown us the most delicate spots to be wary of, and even noticed some lumps that we then showed to a vet (all was okay!)Our dog always looks amazing after Kris is done with him. In the summer we go nice and short (we both hate the heat!) but in the fall she leaves a little extra in his chest area. Kris is simply the best, and I worry about giving her a personal shout out because shes already in high demand!Planet Pooch always does a great job staying in contact with us, both when setting up an appointment and then the day of. Kris always shows up exactly on time. Its so convenient to be able to just open a door and have our dog groomed.Highest of recommendations! I happen to live in Island Park, but I believe they may travel a bit as well.

I have used planet pooch twice and I am extremely pleased. I recently moved and no longer have the facilities to bathe my dog. His nails grew very long and he becomes very agitated if you try and cut them. The gentleman who answered the phone had complete understanding of the situation as well as dealing with an elderly dog. The first appointment a wonderful groomer arrived, fully capable and understanding. She was able to cut his nails and give him a thorough bathing. Additionally the day of the appointment, the groomer was out and the appointment was going to be rescheduled. I explained that it was essential that my dogs nails get clipped as the length was becoming a real problem. A replacement was found for my appointment and my dog had his bath and grooming. The second appointment was equally as professional with a groomer who demonstrated knowledge of what needed to be done as well as the breed. I plan to put him on a grooming schedule with planet pooch. I have been extremely pleased with their professionalism and service. You won’t be sorry! I live in Long Beach.

After having a rough time finding a groomer that checked all the boxes for the dog parents Planet Pooch was recommended to me by 2 people from their great exposure due to their logo vans . Their prices , flexibility as well as availability made me feel more comfortable. The groomer that we were assigned to is punctual and kind as well as listens to any requests or concerns as well as follows through .My baby is so relaxed upon his return to the door he just goes right back to bed . The ease of dealing with this groomer makes my life easier .

Highly recommend! Kristina always does the best job. She has been grooming our yorkies since their first grooming out of the shelter, 5 years ago. We have 4 rescue yorkies and she always take the time to make them feel comfortable during the grooming process. Their hair cuts always coming out amazing. We have passed her on to many of our friends and family who’s dogs also love her!

We have been using Planet Pooch for several years and specifically Kathy as our dogs’ groomer. Kathy is always on time, always goes above and beyond with my dogs’ cuts and their care during grooming and also gives extra special attention to their specific and very different needs. Kathy also notices different things about my dogs that may be out of the norm; for example my older dog has small skin growths, so Kathy has to take extra precaution when cutting her hair short and she noticed when my dog was biting one of the growths. Also Kathy discovered that it was best to bathe the 2 dogs together as opposed to individually because one gets overly nervous. We all look forward to our regular grooming appointments with Planet Pooch and Kathy.

Our long haired white cat Duchess rolled in the fireplace and was also in dire need of a hair cut. Stacey and Lisa were excellent! They were communicative, punctual, and so gentle with our shy girl. In less than an hour they had her coat washed, trimmed, and combed. They also took care of her litterbox areas and paws. Not having to stress out my cat with a car ride confined in a carrier and waiting in a crowded noisy shop was worth every penny. I will be booking again! Thank you!

We have been using Planet Pooch for grooming services for our 5lb yorkie, Cairo, since 7/2020. Our little guy is 2.5 years old. He’s not the type of dog that goes for walks and car rides because he’s extremely anxious when he leaves our front gate. He is a happy dog when he’s home or playing in the yard. Kris, his groomer, is so good with him and I can see how comfortable Cairo is when she picks him up to be groomed. We initially started using Planet Pooch because we didn’t want our puppy sitting in a cage at the groomer’s. Since using them we found all their groomers to be friendly, professional - who provide outstanding services. Also their customer service dept responds quickly to my inquiries. It’s important for me to mention that during Cairo’s grooming session, Kris, noticed a lump on Cairo’s back. She stated it wasn’t there before. We had a vet visit the day before where Cairo was fully examined because he wasn’t feeling well and Vet didn’t detect a lump. We returned to the vet after Kris’ visit. Thankfully the Vet was able to palpate the lump & wasn’t too concerned about it. He thought it best to continue to monitor it. If it wasn’t for Kris, we would never have known about it. Thank you for loving our pup as much as we do. I highly recommend Planet Pooch for their exceptional team and services!
