I don’t take the time to write reviews, but I really felt like I needed to take the opportunity to share what a wonderful experience I had with Paw Sessions. My dog, Molly, and I enrolled in the beginner class. From the first session you can tell that the trainer, Sarah, and her assistant, Terry, not only were very well versed in their craft, but they also genuinely cared about the success of each and every dog and there owner. The lessons were easy to understand and made significant impact on the behaviors of my dog. Each lesson was well thought out and built off the success of the previous exercise. I have owned dogs my entire life and have always done the training on my own. I thought I knew a lot, but even with my extensive knowledge and experience, I still found myself growing and learning during each class. Do not hesitate to enroll your dog in classes with them. I just completed the beginner class and will be signing up again for a more advanced session. Thank you Sarah and Terry for such a fantastic experience!

I want to share our experience at PawSessions in Greenlawn: Sarah is THE dog-whisperer. Our Jesse has been working with her, both in their beginner class and privately. I cannot say enough about her sensitive and caring instruction. She identified the best way to train Jesse so that we, her fur-parents, can work together as family unit. Jesse was wonderful as she was, but now she is our girl who walks, heels, leaves-it, and loves life (and Sarah, too)...!

We had such a wonderful experience at Pawsessions with our puppy. Sarah is the best and we were lucky she ran our group! We learned so much and our puppy loved her classes. Highly recommend Pawsessions to anyone with a puppy. 🐶😊

Mike was an awesome trainer! I couldn’t even walk my dog around the block without feeling frustrated before hiring him. Now I take her on two long walks a day and it’s probably my favorite part of the day. He gave me all of the tools I would need after the 8 session were complete and will even board your dog to continue training if needed. 10/10 recommend for anyone with a pup who needs it!

I went there for an evaluation today and I was quite surprised on how well it went. She is definitely the professional trainer you should seek out, as her training methods are encourage positive reinforcement, and not only that, but I could tell my pup was having a great time learning. Im looking forward to our 6 week course!

Why was I crying today? Because for the first time in my dogs 5 years, due to the competent, sensitive and knowledgeable training we are receiving at Pawsessions from Laurie, I felt confident enough to let my reactive dog walk outside on a noisy street with someone other than me. And he did great! Laurie has taught me, inspired me and shown me how to transfer confidence to my scared pup. Pawsessions dog training is priceless and I am so glad I found them. If you need training for your pup, do not hesitate to give them a call!

One year after attending PawSessions, Scotch is exceptional. Thanks to Laurie and Sarah he is a gentlemen at home and on the town. He socializes well with other dogs and doesnt pull on walks. I am grateful for their guidance on my first dog. We are reaping the rewards and will be for years to come!

I cant say enough about Pawsessions! Laurie and Sarah are wonderful people who genuinely love all dogs and want the very best for them.I started working with Laurie when we rescued our boy from Puerto Rico. Max was 10 months old, strong, energetic and lacked any form of structure. Laurie was so kind and patient. Max fell in love with her instantly!This lady knows her stuff. She explained everything, never made us feel rushed and adapted her methods if she saw something wasnt working quite right. We saw progress after every session!Today Max is a well behaved boy who comes everywhere with us and is now training to be my service dog!Laurie did a great job training me and my husband to be awesome pet parents to our sweet furbaby. Although she was too kind to say it, Laurie knew Max was always perfect - the problem was ME!

I adopted my 8 month old Husky a month ago and quickly learned that she was in need of some training. She would constantly pull hard on her leash.I called Laurie, and we had a great talk about my husky. We had a good discussion over the phone going over what I was looking for in terms of training and her classes.Laure told me that she could have my husky walking normal on a leash in five minutes. I told Lauie that if she could do that, I would be a repeat customer. After all, I knew how hard my dog pulled on a leash.I brought my husky to Pawsessions, and true to her word, she had my dog walking calmly on a leash. Much to my surprise, she did it in three minutes! Ive since been to Pawsessions for some private lessons and will be signing up for their group sessions shortly. In two sessions, I began to walk my dog with no pulling.If you have a pet that you want to train, I highly suggest Pawsessions!I will continue to update this review as my sessions continue.

My fiancé and I rescued a 1.5-year-old American Pitbull Terrier/Herding mix named Brieta in May. Despite our experience with reactive rescues, we were overwhelmed by her intense anxiety. Although she quickly learned tricks and commands with us, that was in our private yard without distractions. Outside of our yard, her fear was evident whenever she encountered other dogs and embarrassingly other humans.By the end of the first week, we realized we needed professional help. Our first trainer left us worried about Brietas future, but then we found Laurie. We are SO glad we did. During our intake call, Laurie listened to our concerns, and we knew she was the right choice.During Brieta’s initial evaluation, she was over-threshold before we even opened the car door. Laurie took control almost immediately and, within minutes, had Brieta walking around her facility. Over the past six weeks of private lessons, Brieta has become significantly more confident in what’s expected of her and how to handle herself in new situations. Each session provided us with skills to reinforce and further build structure at home.I’m writing this review after Brieta’s first socialization class—a milestone we can hardly believe. She started off terrified and lunging at a stuffed dog. Today she walked with other dogs on a relatively loose lead and required minimal corrections. It makes us wish we had videos of her at the start to show her growth by comparison, but the first few weeks were so overwhelming and she was so out of control that we’re almost grateful there’s no proof. It was a distant dream. That dog is not the dog we have today. She may still not be perfect, but she’s trying to be, and Laurie and her team have leveraged Brieta’s desire to be good to accelerate her progress. This review could never adequately do them justice in just how much of a difference they’ve made in this dog’s life.The true value of Laurie’s training is in the intangible growth. Brieta is becoming more confident and less anxious, allowing her to experience more of the world she desperately wants to be a part of. Even our neighbors have commented on her incredible progress. And at the heart of it, the true value is in the confidence she’s given us as Brieta’s owners - that we made the right choice, we have a great dog (with some not-so-great but workable behaviors), and we’ve got this.For anyone struggling with a high-energy reactive dog, I highly recommend Laurie’s services. Her expertise and support have been transformative for Brieta and us.

As a first time dog owner of an amazing yet crazy and energetic German Shepherd/Retriever Mix (Monte), I needed all the help I could get. From week one to doggy graduation, the difference in him was night and day. Before PawSessions, I spent a good part of my day cleaning up accidents, trying to fix his biting problem, and attempting to have him listen to ANYTHING I was saying.Sarah & Laurie showed great knowledge, as well as patience and love for all the dogs in the group. Both Monte and I felt at home and relaxed when in the training classes. Their enthusiasm and care was felt by everyone in the group and even made me sad when the sessions were over!If you’re looking for effective dog training with the added benefit of a local and family run environment, you’ve found your place.

Paw Sessions has done an amazing job training our reactive German Shepherd! Laurie is professional, kind, and incredibly knowledgeable. She is calm, patient, and passionate about helping dogs and their owners achieve success. It’s obvious she loves what she does! I would highly recommend Paw Sessions!

Pawsessions is highly recommended by both me and my puppy Lady. Sarah seemed to know exactly what was right for my pup, and Lady got better every session ( shes easily distracted). Weve already signed up for another session and for a meet and greet at day care.

Laurie,our trainer is wonderful. She explains things in a simple way and is kind and gentle with the dogs. We are training our dog for a therapy dog and thanks to Laurie we are well on our way.

Nothing but amazing things to say about PawSessions. The space is perfect and Sarah is so knowledgeable and so helpful. She really knows what she’s doing and her demeanor with owners and dogs makes a huge difference. My dog and I are still in the middle of a course and I’m honestly shocked by how quickly and easily we are solving problems we’ve struggled with for months with the correct approach and commands. We will be continuing to come here for any subsequent trainings and any future dogs we bring into our family.

I brought my 1 year 6 month old daschund to the beginner class and loved it! We were unable to attend the last 3 sessions of the class and Sarah was so flexible with helping us reschedule! Any issue or concern we had for our dog, they gave us a solution on how to fix! We are so happy at how much we learned and so did our dog!!!!

Laurie and Sarah are the best. I take both my dogs for training with them. I also take them doggie day care. The facility is immaculate and they love it.

Absolutely love Laurie at Paw Sessions. Our little cockapoo has made incredible progress in just 3 sessions. Our main focus has been walking on a loose leash, “drop it,” and “leave it.” Laurie is very patient and knowledgeable, and has taught us how to work with our dog so that he is polite and well-mannered around both people and dogs. The facility is very clean, we truly look forward to our weekly sessions! Thank you!

I have known Laurie since I was a little kid & we were actually in a few dog training classes together years ago at petsmart. Laurie is so passionate about dogs & training. She is very patient & truly is a wonderful person inside & out! Her facility is adorable! So welcoming & inviting!

Just finished the advanced training and Im quite content with my pups overall improvements at dog parks and in general! Training is very engaging, fun, and super easy to learn thanks to the trainers there! Thanks for everything!

Sara is a great dog trainer. She really cares about how well we parents understand and apply the training. My newfie is a much more enjoyable pet because of the basic training. My wife and I intend on going on to advanced training.

Courtney is absolutely AWESOME! She is Milo’s trainer at PawSessions. I highly recommend her.

We went to the brewery with Miles last night. We received many compliments about how well behaved our doggie was while we were enjoying our brews. Miles also enjoyed meeting other doggies. Big Thank You to Laurie for all the training and support.

Our rescue dog Whiskey is halfway through a six week socialization course with Laurie, and I am absolutely thrilled with the progress we have made! Laurie is incredibly patient and extremely knowledgeable , and the experience has felt very personalized in addressing Whiskeys unique needs. Laurie has instilled confidence in me as well as in Whiskey, who absolutely loves going to school. Highly, highly recommended!! Thank you!!!

Lori and Sarah are kind, patient and excellent at what they do! In just a few weeks, our very shy puppy is now going on walks confidently, is more sociable and is quickly learning all her commands! This has been a great experience and we are grateful we found Pawsessions!

My rescue dog just completed a six week beginner class. I couldnt be happier with the place, the trainers and his results. The space is beautiful and hygenic. The owner/trainers were fantastic! They were knowledgable, experienced and very, very generous with their time, helping me to work through my dogs issues. I started the class with a dog who was fearful and hyper-reactive to noises and people. I ended the class with a dog who was confident, focused and obedient. I highly recommend PawSessions!!

Pawsessions is a dog’s dream! Laurie and Sara, the owners, are incredible. It feels great to know that our dog is in great hands in a loving, and clean place. Our dog gets so excited when we pull in the parking lot and comes home tired and happy after a day or half day of playing. I also love that they are not overcrowded. They only allow a certain number of dogs for play in the space at a time.

Sully and I have been going to Pawsessions since Spring 2022. I adopted Sully April 2022. He has come along way since we have been training with Laurie and Sarah! Sully was very reactive when we first started and now is able to be in a class with other dogs! He’s now enrolled in a cgc class! Thanks to Sarah and Laurie -Kourtney too- Sully and i have learned so much and really helped me be more confident! They gave me the encouragement I needed to help Sully and I be the best we can be.

We had such a great experience in our training program with our Goldendoodle. The staff is kind and truly love dogs. We felt comfortable in our sessions and would even consider for day care to follow. Highly recommend dedicated training sessions for all pups!

Pawsessions is wonderful. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and patient. I brought my first ever dog for training. They provided clear instructions and demonstrated commands with my dog. I highly recommend them. (and my dog loves going too!)

Laurie and Sarah are warm and loving with the pups. They are supportive and encouraging as you adapt to caring for your own pup. They are sensitive to the individualities of each pup and the needs of their parent. My pup Brie gets excited when we pull up outside and has quickly warmed up to them.

I started going to Pawsessions in October and havent stopped going since! I have a 1 year old rescue pup who is very timid, shy and scared of her own shadow. Were still a WIP because nothing changes over night, but working with Laurie, Sarah (and their pup Elliott) has been an amazing experience. Laurie truly cares about the well being of each dog. She analyzed Keeva (my pup) in our first visit and has helped me figure out a game plan that works best for her. This isnt a place where youre going to spend money for no results. Keeva went from hiding in the corner, to learning sit and come - a small win, but still a win! As long as you listen and put in the work, you and your pup will reap the benefits. I dont believe in bad dogs and neither does Pawsessions. Every dog has a future.

Beautiful clean facility, awesome staff, reasonable cost. I just enrolled my dog in his 3rd training session just because he LOVES going there! He has wonderful friends in both the staff and the other pups. Highly recommend Pawsessions.

Brought my puppy there for classes. Laurie the owner and her daughter Sarah are the best. All the dogs listen and love her. She has the patience of a Saint. Takes her time with each dog and really loves what she does. She is a true animal lover. She works with your schedule. Returns calla and finds a way to make your experience fun. Very professional. Definitely recommend.
