We are loving the newest member of our family “Princess Ziggy Stardust “, a Maine Coon from this Catery. It is clear that Louise loves her animals. The adoption process was clear and communications were excellent from the beginning to pickup. We would not hesitate recommending them. We might even add a new little brother or sister in the future!

Louise from Catskills Maine Coon Cattery was a joy to work with...from keeping me updated on my kitten while sending photos to giving guidance on health and food choices! I highly recommend as she absolutely loves these majestic cats!

Louise, owner of Catskill Mountain Maine Coons, is amazing. She’s incredibly responsive, kind, and skilled. I had done quite a lot of research to find a reputable breeder and I am so grateful to have found Louise. We really needed a kitten who could adjust to our home easily as we already have 2 cats, 2 dogs, and an 8-year-old child. Our kitten is sweet and funny, well socialized and well behaved, and he’s already fitting right in with the family. I appreciate how transparent and communicative Louise is with her customers and how well she cares for her breeding cats and the kittens, she raises them as if they will stay with her forever.

I have been looking for the one kind if kitten that would grow up with me. Shelter or not, but the search was striking out. I was suggested to get myself a Maine Coon, and I was instantly smitten by their wild looks. Instantly knew I NEEDED one in my life.I researched and found Louis at Catskill Mountain Maine Coon Cattery. She may have been almost 4 hours away, but when the heart wants something, driving 4 hours would have been less then enough to deteriorate my decision.I was aware of many scams going on after much research. Luckily I had others who knew how to research scam websites and assured that this cattery was determined real and was not one. I instantly messaged her, put down my $500 deposit for my line in position, and a little over a year later, I got my kitten.Worth the wait? Absolutely! Now just because I waited over a year, keep in mind that my wait would have originally been around 2 years, or slightly clowlser to 3. Situations happen to others (such as finding a different kitten from a shelter or rescue, etc) and I was lucky enough to skip to the top of the line. Do not let your wait keep you away from trying.Once the kitten was born, Louis was amazing. She would send me pictures and videos, along with updates every week or bi-weekly as I waited for the Pick Up day. I instantly asked her many questions and she gave me suggestions and answers. As we all know, like business, communication and trust is needed between the buyer and seller. I very much trusted Louis on raising my future baby- and she did wonderfully. There was a mishap on my end for the original Pick Up day, but she was very understanding and make the new date a good and welcoming experience! Thank-you!Astrophel is potty trained, speaks and trills at me, holds conversations, and instantly made my home, his home in less then 1 hour time of arriving. By the end of the day, he was prancing around like the King of his new territory.Thank you very much for giving me the furball of my dreams. Amazing communication, experience, and a new addition to my family.

What a wonderful experience!!! Louise at Catskill Mountain Maine Coons was such a pleasure to work with!!! She sent photos and updates on a regular basis, constantly updating progress, and an absolute joy to meet when I picked them up! I can’t tell you how much of a relief it was to find a breeder that cared so much about her kittens and where her kittens were going!!! I highly recommend Catskill Maine Coons for an experience that you will never forget! This is a breeder like no other!!! She was such a wonderful caring person…and I have no reservations about contacting her in the future for another Maine Coon! My two Maine Coons are an absolute joy and I just love them to pieces!!! If you asked me a few months ago if I would ever spend 4 figures on a kitten I would have laughed. But hands down this has been the best decision we have ever made and worth every penny! Our child was desperate for a sibling which wasnt happening so we started researching kittens and were thrilled we came across this cattery. Louise treats all the kittens as if they were her own family. Shes very responsive and friendly and cares deeply about her animals. We chose to spend the money on a purebred kitten rather than shelter cat because we wanted to be basically guaranteed a chilled-out, smart kitten and this cattery did not disappoint. Our new family member is an absolute dream! He has the most incredible temperament especially with the small kids in our lives; hes super relaxed, affectionate, playful, loyal, intelligent, healthy, cuddly and already leash and harness trained. He comes when we call him and greets us at the door. At only 4 months old hes everything we dreamed of in a cat and more. Hes changed our lives so much for the better. I did not get a mainecoon from this breeder but I had a very good experience with them! I was torn between 2 different locations and they were so helpful in answering all my questions. It is clear they have a great love of the breed and anyone interested should definitely consider Catskill Cattery.

I have recently had a wonderful experience with Louise and her Catskill Mountain Maine Coon Cattery! Three days ago I brought home my little Annabelle. She had no problems adjusting to her new home. It was obvious she was well socialized and loved for her first three months! She is sweet, confident, and oh-so-cute! I am grateful to Louise for making my dream of owning a Maine Coon a reality. She was great to work with, and clearly dedicated to the cats in her care. I received pictures when Annabelle was a few days old, and was updated frequently until I was able to pick her up. An added bonus was a wonderful canvas tote with supplies to get me started. I feel confident that I can call on Louise with any questions I have in the future.
