Come Sit Stay Boutique Dog Hotel & Daycare

I used to love this place and bring my just turned 1 year old puppy here. However, one day I picked him up and went to pet him and felt all this dry blood on him. I moved his hair back and saw this big bloody bite wound. Immediately, I called and asked what happened. The staff informed me that a territorial dog went after him in the hallway. I was NEVER informed another dog went after mine. Regardless if they saw the bite wound or not they should have informed me immediately. When I continued to ask why that dog who went after mine was even there, the girl stated that the dog gets “very territorial in the hallway.” My question is 1. If the dog is territorial, why is he near other dogs? And 2. Why let my puppy walk past him if they know this about him? While they did do the right thing and pay my vet bill and reimburse me for daycare that day, I will not be returning. I no longer trust them to watch my dog. Who knows how many other times this may have happened as I always see a dog gated off behind the desk and the staff lets other dogs walk past that sectioned off dog.

I’m shocked at how this establishment is handling a situation.Withholding video of what happen is only making your business look worse.And your post you then deleted was so unprofessional.If your “preoccupied” by other things maybe you should be running a business.If your short staffed maybe you shouldn’t be booking so many dogsYou should also be paying more attention at training your employees rather than allowing them to be negligent and play on their phone while they should be supervising multiple dogs.This is extremely shameful how this is being handled.If the dog was at fault why are you withholding the video? Does it show your facility not following protocol and safety measures, did someone handle it poorly which would cause your business harm, so many things could have been done to handle this better and it hasn’t.Shame on you for putting peoples pets in danger.

This is not the first time we left our dog at Come, sit, & play. However, this is the first time our dog stayed here for 15 days. We dropped him off after grooming, so he was clean with hair all shiny & white. When we picked him up he was brown & so dirty. He looked like he wasnt taken care of...as if he was a stray. Their website says they give report cards, but we only got 2 of them, one the attachment I cannot open, and the 2nd one, I had to email and ask for it because I havent received any. When asked about it, I was given a its been busy & having a hard time uploading reasons. Our dog lost weight and looked dehydrated. Unacceptable! My daughter cried and upset in the car seeing our dog looking homeless. They could not even shower him? I was told that I should have mentioned it when I dropped him off. You think 15 days doesnt require at least a wiping? I sent an email that I will be picking him up & they couldnt even prepare him? The scarf he wore from his grooming was so filthy and dusty and still hanging on his neck. Negligence is what we saw. So, if you Iove your dog like we do, dont bring them here. Theyre not equipped nor caring enough. Horrible service, not worth almost $1000 for 15 days. I wouldve given them a zero rating if its available.

Best Groomer in the area!! We started bringing our Toy poodle to Barbara when Come Sit Stay first opened, and we couldnt be happier! She does such a wonderful job and treats our dog extremely well. We wont go anywhere else, and you shouldnt either!

I cannot rave enough on how Wonderful the staff is at Come Sit Stay in Haverstraw. Each and every staff member treated my dog like it was their own.Snowy is 13years old with a special diet, all was taken care of. I had multiple updates on how he was doing a with photos and captions. He was able to play with the other dogs inside and outside. He was not cooped up in a cage like most kennels, but had a large indoor and outdoor areas to spend most of his time there. I was away for a week and emailed Come Sit Stay several times and got prompt response each time. I will not bring my dogs anywhere else except to Come Sit Stay in Haverstraw, they gave me piece of mind while I was away which allowed me to enjoy my trip.

After hearing what they did to a friends dog which was to come get the dog because it attacked another. Yet there was only a tiny scratch on the other dog and her dog was bloodied. They obviously dont watch the dogs!!! I read 2 more reviews where they cant come of with video for any of them. Why talk your animal to people who ignore them? The lying about things that happen there is absurd. The BBB should be made aware.

My pups, Rex and Rusty, love it at Come, Sit Stay. All of the staff are friendly and treat your pups like special guests. Its wonderful to have such a great place to bring them when we need it.

My rescue who is very attached I was so worried in leaving. They took exceptional care and kept her at front desk most of Day as she alk 14 pounds was scared

Come sit stay is bar none the best day care for dogs. My dog Hunter loves going every week and it is a great experience for us and him. All the employees are phenomenal, caring and loving to all dogs and I cannot recommend them enough. If you are looking for somewhere to leave your dog for the day with peace of mind, this is the place!Keep doing great work!
