Country Club Kennels Boarding

We dropped our three dogs ( a husky 3yrs, a chocolate lab 6yrs old and a lab mix 3yrs old) off on July 26th early in the AM before we left for vacation, so if there was any issue they could contact us before we head out since our dogs have NEVER BEEN boarded before. They didnt contact us at ALL not even when we were on vacation to say there was an issue. When we returned to pick up our dogs I had asked if they can groom them before hand, they said no they didnt have time and the groomer isnt there on Tuesdays. Not knowing that the actual reason is because they were afraid of our dogs. They didnt even tell me there was issues with the dogs when I had called. It wasnt until my husband and oldest son went to pick them up that they told my husband that all three of the dog were growling at them so they couldnt let them out to relieve themselves, play etc. They didnt do ANYTHING that they stated wouldve been done for our three dogs. They couldnt even get in to place their food. Our husky was FILTHY, shes white and black so it was easier to see the fecal matter and urine staining her fur, because they were left in their kennels for the week they were there. They told my husband they had to hose the kennels from outside without obviously taken our dogs out of the kennel. NOW, ALL THREE OF OUR DOGS ARE RELIEVING THEMSELVES IN OUR HOME SO WE HAVE TO RETRAIN THEM. I just had my husband go in the attic to take out the crate. I will NEVER USE this place again. And obviously I dont recommend them at all. They need to have their employees trained on how to care for animals who are scared and weary of their surroundings, especially when theyve never been boarded before in their entire life. We spent $1260 for all three to NOT be taken care of the way we were told they would be.These are precious members of our family and we thought they were going to be treated with affection and care. Dont use this place if you care for your pets.EDIT:Just got off the phone with Debbie and her husband Don clearly theyre ALL ABOUT THE MONEY, not about taking care of your pets. He threw in my face that Im like others who go on vacation, spend money and then have a big bill from the boarder and want to complain so I get money back!! He can wipe his butt with my $1,260.80 that we had to pay. And to think I was going to spend MORE money to have them groomed with them.If I could leave no stars it would be blank!!!

We have boarded our dogs with Country Club kennels for years and have NEVER had a problem ! The owners, Debbie and Don are caring individuals and always ready to answer questions or phone calls when we are away ! We feel very comfortable leaving our pups with them !❤️

Used Country Club Kennels exclusively for my best friend (Wizard - Lab mix) during his final 10years, even though an hour round trip. Never a complaint. Debbie and staff were always caring and understanding. Kenneled elsewhere once and he came home with Kennel Cough. He was always eager to return to Country Club. I never considered cost, wanting the best for my dog.

They took excellent care of my pup , I called why I was away and they took the time to answer my questions. Awesome place.

The owner, Don and Debbie along with their staff are very professional. First of all, they are the pet lovers. They took care of my aged dog very well. I had an opportunity to see their kennels, which are very very clean and no smell. Highly recommend this place.

I recently brought my German Shepherd to be groomed at Country Club Kennel. Audrey had done a fabulous job grooming her. She cut her dremelled her nails too. Her coat was super soft and smelled so good. Now she isnt shedding like crazy. Less cleaning for me 😀I highly recommend Country Club Kennels for boarding and grooming needs.

We have boarded our dogs at Country Club since 1978, one cannot ask for a better facility. It is an onsite family run operation. The staff is knowledgeable, professional and most importantly treats your dog as if it were theirs. We were always confident that the animals were well cared for and in good hands. We could also always count on Audreys grooming to make our Golden look perfect. We will greatly miss the Country Club family now that we have relocated to North Carolina.

We have been leaving our 2 dogs in this facility for the past 10 years, 1-3x a year for at least 7-10 days at a time. When I first visited, I was given a tour of the site, which I found to be very clean, unlike other places I’ve seen. The staff has always been courteous and pleasant upon drop off and pick up. I’ve never had an issue with the facility returning my calls. I even call them While I’m on vacation to check on the dogs and if they are not available, they always call me back. Neither dog has has an issue staying at this facility to date.

People in the office were EXTREMELY rude upon both drop off and pickup.. My dog smells like strong perfume-y shampoo or something.. and they never gave him his 2 toys I wanted him to have so he didn’t have as much anxiety being away from home.(I know because I left a treat inside of the Kong, which would be gone).

Used this as a last resort bc our kennel was booked up. They were so friendly and accommodating. My dog does not normally do well when being boarded. He came home and did so well. We will definitely be using country club kennels.in the future.

How anyone can give this place a 5 star or even a 2 star rating is beyond me! We used this facility once and only one. Woman that works in office is down right nasty! Walked in with my dog and she yelled at me NO DOGS IN THE OFFICE! DIDNT YOU SEE THE SIGN!!! Went back outside and looked sure enough there was a sign covered in ivy!!! Wasnt too thrilled with the comment made by the owner when we picked our dog up either! And they wont let you see inside the kennels! Wonder why that is? You drop your dog off and pick them up without ever seeing where the dog is going to be kept! We have never nor will we ever use them again!

Country Club Kennels have served us well for 16 yrs. So sad to see a post from Jeff E. saying that when he brought his dog into the office (apparently oblivious/unconcerned with any protocols of a reputable business), he was upset with the treatment he received. Kudos to the staff at Country Club Kennels for keeping my pets safe and not in the company of unchecked dogs/unruly owners. CC Kennels have quite a volume of business, and does not cater to anyone who feels they dont have to adhere to rules...

Brought both my dogs to be boarded together for one week. When i picked them up my lab had a crooked tail that was tucked between his legs for a week following his stay. He didnt seem happy at all.. id even go as far as to say he seemed abused. Both smelled awful and had poop and mud caked all over their bodies. Would not recommend!!!

You can tell they really care about the dogs. They always ask if your dog requires any special needs. They make you feel comfortable leaving your pet.

Amazing amazing boarding and grooming service. Go nowhere else with your beloved canine family members.

First time dropping off at any kennel,found front desk person and staff very pleasant.dog very happy when I picked up which makes me happy will be going back, prices ok to.

CAUTION, this place is questionable to dog lovers, no credentials, judge for yourself. Please help out, we all need reliable places to take our beloved four legged ones! its not about convenience, its about care!
