Nicole is far and away the best groomer we’ve ever had for our pups! She is patient, responsive, and talented. Our Shih Tzu mix is very anxious and I know that she is treated with extra diligence.Not only do our pups trust Nicole, but they are always treated well by any worker in the spa. Nicole is THE best groomer in the area. Period. We have dogs that are exceptionally difficult to groom, and Nicole is now the only one we trust. After many experiences with the dogs getting knots, having bald spots, or coming back damp from other places, Nicole has showed us what a truly excellent experience looks like. I have been taking my dogs to Nicole for 2 years now. She always does a great job grooming my two shih-tzu/pomeranians at a reasonable price, and most importantly, my dogs are comfortable being left with her.

Nicole is the best! You can tell how much she loves each and every pup. Every grooming appointment is my dogs best day of his life.

Nicole is outstanding! After going to several groomers in the area like Pet Smart in Ithaca and one in downtown Groton, who neither could handle Willow, we have finally found the best groomer. Nicole knows how to handle big dogs and is chill about it. I was told by a previous groomer that Willow would need to be sedated for grooming or have our vet shave her under sedation. Unreal. Anyhow, thank you, Nicole, for your professionalism and talent.

Nicole is so caring and thoughtful of each dog independently. My aged/heart-compromised Lhasa mix is treated so that he does not get too tired or stressed during his grooming. She is great with teeth, too. Nicole checks with me at drop off to see how my dog is doing and listens when I tell her whats going on with him. She is also so knowledgeable and will offer advice when asked. Her pricing, convenient location, and wonderful care keep us coming back. I can trust her completely.

I have been taking my dogs to this business when the present owner was an employee. Since the transfer several years ago from Kathryn to present owner Nicole, I stayed being generally pleased with the service and wanting to give my business to a local young woman starting off.As soon as Nicole took over completely, she raised her prices. Understanding the costs of starting off, I continued to schedule and tip the owner even though she was no longer the employee. It didn’t take long before another price jump, but she was gentle and my dog was comfortable with the same person each time. However, what I didn’t like and had to keep commenting on was the groom. I didn’t mind paying extra to have specific cuts or cute cuts- but it was the basic shave and nail clip for $60 that I found excessive. No special moisturizers, no sweet clip, no nail smoothing, no bow or bandana. Basic shave, and often it was uneven and my wondering why I was paying so much for so little.. Honestly it felt like a inexperienced person groomed my dog. It got to the point that I bought clippers myself and did what I could and started bringing her in for face, feet and Fanny because Nicole wouldn’t follow any of my requests. Once COVID changed things for everyone, her services were even more limited- and she only offered face, feet and fanny to her ‘non regular customers’I started my post by saying that I was a customer well before she was an owner. And over the years supported her business even though I wasn’t very pleased with her attention to her work the last couple of years. I find her lack of appreciation for loyal customers pretty sad- and have since taken my pup to a groomer that takes the time she’s paid for. The best choice I could’ve made,

I cannot give a high enough review! Nicole is amazing at what she does. We’ve never had a bad haircut and our dog loves her! I’ve seen more than too many bad haircuts on Goldendoodles and I actually have people from all over the country asking if they can use pictures of Nicole’s haircuts on Moose to show their own groomers! She does such an incredible job.

I have 2 dogs that shed a great deal, a border collie and a German shepherd. I took them both to Kathryns Grooming Spa for a bath, brush, trim, and blow out. It is absolutely incredible how much better they look and feel and most importantly, how little they are shedding. I will definitely take them back there!! Nicole did a great job helping my anxious border collie get comfy. Everyone was friendly and the prices are great! Taking them to the groomers isnt a luxury anymore, it is a necessity.

Nicole was wonderful and said what a gentleman my Charlie was throughout his grooming. He is a goldendoodle and came in looking like a sheepdog, but Nicole did a wonderful job of cleaning him up. I just made another appointment for a grooming as I have had such a good experience with this groomer.

Weve used these guys to cut our dogs for a long time now. Staff were extremely friendly and they did an amazing job on grooming our dog. Theyre also pretty cheap too, we got a 20% discount and the total bill was only $50 after tax. Definitely recommend these guys if you need your dog groomed!

Recently started going to Lansing Grooming Spa about 8 months ago with my two small dogs. They seem to like Nicole and she always does a fantastic job on them . My puppy mill Bichon now looks very proper and my 14 year old comes out looking dandy too even with his share of mumps and lumps . Nicole is just excellent . Highly recommend.

Best groomer in the area! Had 2 back to back disappointments with Ithaca PetSmart for my rather finicky Shih Tzu- Yorkie mix puppy. A friend recommended me this place and took my pup there today. The owner Nicole was superb with my hyper-nervous puppy. And the best part is that I get to stay with my pup throughout so that it gives me and my pooch the mental comfort. Highly recommended!!

I took my dog Moe in today to get groomed for the first time with Lansing Groomers spa. Moe looks soo good and he know he does as he is Strutting his stuff around place now.. Staff is very friendly and polite. I will be recommend them to all my friends and family

Nicole is excellent! Shes so accommodating and did a beautiful, thorough job on my sweet, old, disabled dog. I asked if she could hand dry him because he was old (which is more work but she had no problem with it) and she made sure to schedule him during a quiet time so that he wouldnt have to wait. When my husband took our dog to get groomed he ended up taking him to another groomer first! So he was about 30 minutes late. Through all of that, Nicole was gracious, considerate, and did an excellent job. She made my sweet old dog feel better. I recommend Nicole to everyone.

We can’t do our7 month old puppies nails at home, but she gets them done here! We call and get quick appointments and are very grateful for her help.
