Tim is such an amazing person to work with and an exceptional trainer! Our boy Axel did the 2 week SIT program and i cant believe how well he listens now. Having a 100 pound dog that is running on its own terms in your home is no picnic. Tim has taught myself and my son, along with Axel how to work together in harmony. Everything Tim explained made complete sense. I highly recommend his training program!!

Stormie spent two weeks with Tim. I have no words. He worked with her on no jumping, heel, and recall. She did amazing! Can’t believe it’s my girl!Tim is very very knowledgeable, patient and takes the time to help you understand and gives you the tools you need to be successful with your ongoing training. The facility is beautiful.I look forward to continuing to work with Tim in helping me to help Stormie have a great life. 🐾

I have reaped the benefits of Tim’s 2 week training program twice. I took my 8 year old GSD Aiden to Tim in 2019 as Aiden’s anxiety/fear of loud noises has gotten so bad I could barely get him outside. Tim taught Aiden and me several strategies to deal with the fear. He was a new dog!!I recently picked up my 8 month old Bernese Mountain Dog from Tim’s 2 week program. Aarlo learned the basic important commands and is getting a great start in life! He is a smart sweet boy, but I was struggling to teach him impulse control. Tim’s 2 week program sets a strong foundation for obedience and enjoyment of your dog!

Tim was amazing with our boy Sammy. We were struggling with Sammy due to his stubbornness, which can be common in Rotties. He did what he wanted when he wanted and was not good motivated which made it harder. It was so rewarding when we picked Sammy up and seen the complete transformation. I will be scheduling the same program for our 15 week old Rottie once he’s old enough to attend. We cannot thank Tim enough for time and effort he put into Sammy so he can have the best life but be well behaved while doing so!! Highly recommend!

My 2 K9s and I have been working with Tim for both discipline and scent work. Both my husband and I are constantly floored how in just one hour so much can be accomplished with the right trainer! The changes in behaviour in our 16 month old high drive working dog have been leaps and bounds and has made our household much less stressful and relaxing. We have only started with the scent work recently and Tims knowledge and patience is amazing! It is always a great experience working with Tim.

Great trainer! We have had german shepherds in the past, but our 1 year old pup was showing signs of aggression early on, despite home training. I had never hired a professional trainer before, and so the price scared me. BUT IT WAS SO WORTH IT. As a veterinary professional, I was impressed with the kennel cleanliness and facility layout. After two weeks with Performance K9, we had a brand new dog! Great temper, listens well, and is over all happier because we trust him more off leash and with guests. Almost a year later and still a great dog. Thanks again, you deserve my review Performance K9!

We started working with Tim in Spring 2021 for scent training, and obedience classes. Tim is an amazing trainer who always keeps our classes challenging but fun. Tim is passionate about his work and really cares about all the dogs he works with. I’ve worked with many trainers over the years and I’m very particular who I trust with my dogs. I never met anyone who marked all the boxes for a dog trainer, but when I met Tim I knew right away he would be our last and only trainer ! I have dog number two training with him now and I look forward to continuing working with him for years to come.

He trained my crazy, silly Boxer & transformed him into a well-behaved crazy & silly Boxer lol. Loved the whole experience & Tim is a wonderful person & really listens to your concerns & needs. Since the training went so well, I also use him for all of Olivers boarding needs too. Highly recommend ☺️

I can’t speak for my fiancé, but I was having a really difficult time with our puppy Jack as I did not know the way to train him to be successful. We paid a pretty penny for the 2 week board and train but it was worth every penny! Not only did Jack have a good foundation to continue working on at home, but Tim worked with us too! Me having this foundation helped us work together to carry on what made him a super dog!But be sure, Tim’s amazing training only works well if it is continued at home, on a daily basis; otherwise you waste your own money. #wortheverypenny

I started bringing my Belgian Malinois to scentwork classes with Tim when he was 7 months old. I am still bringing him weekly to classes at 7 years old & he still loves every minute of it! Tim is extremely talented in reading the dogs and even after the 6+ years, he still finds new skills to work on with Echo & keep him challenged. Quite honestly, Tim is one of the VERY few people I trust with Echo and I can’t recommend him enough as a trainer.

Tim did a fantastic job with Nash! You could tell that he was so happy while he was there and came back so much better behaved! It made a world of difference sending him to Proformance K9!

Excellent seminar presented by Tim V to SAR handlers of all skill levels. Was able to provide valuable information presented through demonstrations using novice and experienced K9’s.

I have a crazy German Shepherd who I’ve boarded here. They haven’t turned her away yet 🤣 Tim even went above and beyond and brushed her (that’s a task and a half).

My puppy participated in K9 Proformances board & train. The training was great for her. Walking her on a leash now is a much more enjoyable experience. Walking the neighborhood one morning we were heading to round a corner when a bicyclist scared a deer that ran out in front of us...startling both of us. My puppy wanted to chase the deer and certainly was distracted. However, I was able to ask her to sit so we could regroup which she did nicely. We continued our walk. It was amazing! I will use Tim for future training and highly recommend the program to other dog owners.

Tim is awesome and I cant stress enough how professional and loving he is with his dogs. He clearly spends hours training them in a safe and comfortable environment. The facility is beautiful and any future doggies will be going through him. My dog stayed her loving, goofy self, while learning restraint and not jumping on others. She still shows her excitement but in appropriate ways. I will be recommending Proformace K9 to everyone I know!

We just picked up our 9 month old Pug from her 2 week board and train program here and she is a whole new dog! I am so incredibly impressed with the amazing progress that they made with her! She is amazing off-leash, and has all the basic obedience skills down pat! She had a bunch of individual sessions with Deb before we did the board and train and those were phenomenal too! They really really care about the pups here! When we signed up for the board and train I knew 100% that shed be in excellent hands. She gets excited in the car when she sees that were pulling in the parking lot! Tim was awesome with the board and train, every day or so he would send videos showing Lizs progress which was great and very reassuring to see! Our pup belongs to my 7 year old son and thus training has focused on the two of them and both Deb and Tim were phenomenal with training my son how to behave and get the dog to do what we need her to! I cant say enough great things about Proformance!

We had our 2 year old shepherd mix do the board and train for 2 weeks. We are so beyond thankful we did this! Tim went above and beyond our expectations. Broly had a great bond with him which showed through all of the training. He came home such a confident dog and we are super excited to keep up with the training at home. Tim is there to answer any and all questions and he does a great job explaining things you may not understand. He also comes to your home to make sure the training sticks in your own environment! He truly cares and it shows through his work. Thank you so much for everything Tim!!

My dog did not understand AKC Buried hides. Took a weekend Scent seminar with Tim. He took time to set up buried and work with us until he figured out what she didnt understand. Problem was fixed and she has her AKC Master Buried title. He is so kind with students- humans and dogs.

Great, knowledgeable trainer. Tims ability, enthusiasm and great personality creates a very unique and informative experience. If you have a dog bring it here!!!

I brought my GSD here for a two week board and train. Promised she would be introduced to scent work to see if she would be a good candidate and an at home visit after 2 weeks of being back at home. All the $$$$ spent and it only resulted in what I consider to be a very expensive e-collar and prong collar. When I picked her up I was only given 1/2 hour instruction AT MOST as to what she learned and how to use the collars. Apparently the trainer had another appointment and my bill was paid. The collar goes straight to shock mode - no warning beep for the dog. And then you can’t tell if it’s “shocking” or not because there is no audible signal at all. Not introduced to scent work - only told they “hold classes” - more $$$. I probably would have signed up for them if she had been introduced as promised and that she’d be interested. No home visit or any other follow up of any kind as promised when I booked her. Oh - I was given access to a few minute video. Should have listened to others and gone to in person training with her! Probably would have spent MUCH less and the both of us gained MUCH more. I picked this place for training because of the work he does with GSD’s and was hoping to gain some insight as to my then 1 yr old GSD’s potential abilities. Live and learn.

We adopted an 11 month old Swissie/Coonhound in March of this year. He was already nearly 80 lbs when he arrived and had had little socialization and almost no training. Lunging and prey drive were too much for us to handle, so we went to ProFormance K9 for help. Our trainer was Tim Vaillancourt. He is absolutely terrific! Not only did he return to us an animal whose training is the envy of all the dog owners we meet. He also instilled confidence in us, which allowed us to relax and really enjoy the complex personality of this busy hound dog. Thanks toTim and ProFormance K9, our dog has become the amusing and affectionate companion that we knew he could be. So glad to have found these guys. They really worked wonders!

These folks helped me by improving the relationship between my dog and I. Training is very impressive and the ongoing support is so very appreciated. My dogs trainer was patient and very informative, providing helpful insights through the entire process. This experience was all new to me, and I was most grateful for the respect I was given.

These guys do an outstanding job I boarded and had them train my GSD pup they took her way further than I could along with teaching me how to go train her more and build on what shed learned. My dog is amazing!!! Highly recommend

Apparently they did not like our dog. We took him to an interview and he didnt much care for the trainer. (The feeling was mutual, I guess-dogs can sense this). They never had the decency to call us back. We took him to K9 off leash and he did and was received wonderfully. Check out K9!

I just picked up my puppy this past weekend after she spent two weeks with Tim doing obedience training. I was so nervous to leave her with a stranger. I cannot stress enough how helpful and knowledgeable Tim was. In the months leading up to us dropping her off Tim took time out of his days to answer any questions I had. When we dropped her off he showed us where she would be working and took his time to set expectations for us and go over what the next two weeks would look like for our puppy! I was really nervous about using a training collar for training but Tim took his time going over how the collar worked, what he used it for and how beneficial it really is for training. When we picked her up Tim spent almost two hours with us going over everything that she had learned in the two weeks. My puppy is still her loveable crazy self but she has learned so much and is doing so well. I am blown away at the transformation that has happened. Tim had us work with her when we picked her up so that he could offer tips and make sure we were comfortable with the training so that we can keep up with it at home. Tim is going to come out in about a month or so to see her in her home environment, see how the training is going and offer extra support. Walking my pup before this training was nearly impossible and now it is like a dream. She is so great on and off the leash. I had watched so many YouTube videos on dog training before we adopted our puppy and I took her to some puppy training classes and none of them did anything for us. Tim has the knowledge and genuinely cares for the dogs that he trains. He sets up the owners and the dogs for success. He went above and beyond in expectations. The facilities on his property are so clean and well kept. All my future four-legged children I will be taking to Tim to get trained. I cannot stress enough how highly I recommend this training program

Highly recommend! We did a board and train for our 1 and a half year old male English bull terrier. Tim kept us informed throughout those two weeks with video and text-which was nice bc we did miss our boy. The skills Tim sets with your dog is something you have to keep up on. Tim’s program really gave us the confidence and tools to care for our dog! If your dog has any aggression or is “out of control” , this is the place!
