This “dog park” is a sad mistake. While perfectly fine for tiny/small dogs, the “large” dog side is a pathetic joke.Large dog owners need space for their dogs to run, chase a ball more than 50 feet, a two entrance gate system, and, ideally, running water onsite. People take their dogs to a dogpark to exercise, socialize their dogs, and, socialize with other dog owners. A successful dogpark turns into a family.Whoever designed Mayville’s dog park has obviously never been to a successful dog park - check out the one in Lakewood! Size is the biggest issue here - Mayville constructed a glorified outdoor kennel that doesn’t even come close to serving the needs of dog owners.
Tiniest dog park ever. No shade. No water. No dogs.
Clean, well kept
Checks out. No shade, no water, no dogs.
Great location. Convenient place to take your dog and stroll by the lake.
