Village Groomer

I was a bit nervous bringing my long-haired rescue cat to get her first grooming- I swear she thought I was bringing her back to the SPCA. Village Groomers were wonderful- Tosca was so nicely groomed. Very happy with the results. I really think Tosca is also happier with her groomed fur! She was not stressed by the appointment, so will continue to use the Village Groomers. (also careful about following CDC guidelines).

I had been looking for a groomer to groom my german Shepard for ages ! I’ve had a few bad experiences because she’s a very anxious dog and weary of new people but the people over at village groomer were so kind & helpful! They took their time with her and made sure to give her lots of loving while she was there ! The prices were fair & now she is very excited to go there to get her weekly bath:) thank you guys so much for taking care of my baby! 10/10 recommend these guys

My dog loves to get groomed at Village Groomer. The owner and staff are so experienced and caring. They are accommodating to your dog’s needs and Rudy always comes home with a special bandana! Nice finishing touch!

This groomer is very good. I have been using them for many years and always had great results in every way. The dogs are treated with great care. And come out looking very professional. This throughout several dogs.They have years of experience and are very knowledgeable. The best.

Just moved back into the eastern part Dutchess County, NY and needed to have our dog groomed. I called around and came up with several names of groomers.They all gave me a price of $60 to $70 to clean and groom a 60 pound long haired mixed (with black lab).One of my calls was to the Village Groomer in Millbrook, NY. She gave me a price of $70 plus tax which was on the higher end but the location was closer and the address was more respectful.My wife and I dropped the dog off and picked her up a couple hours later.The bill was $112 plus tax since the dog had longer hair (which I told her about).I am not recommending this vendor and suggest you get a written estimate before you accept her verbal quote.The trim, by the way was choppy and uneven.

I dont know how they do it but my little guy could be like a piranha when it comes to wanting to groom him a bit. He came from a shelter with lots of fear and too many owners... Im not giving up cause theres no bad dogs just bad owners!!! The did an excellent job and Im very grateful 🙏... I drive almost 20 miles cross the river just to use them, well worth the trip 😊

Hi guys i just want to thank you for doing a fantastic job on zeisy and bell yesterday. zeisy is experiencing a freedom of movement i havent seen in a while - he was probably incarcerated by his matts — and bell is just beyond adorable. i felt terrible that the grooming was delayed and thus more complicated, but you guys were so nice and also practical about it. thank you so much for loving my dogs. robin flam salzman

I’m very happy with this place! My dogs return happy and groomed very nice! My friend had recommended this place because she takes her dog there so since then i started to take both my dogs there and they have done a fantastic job. Bit pricey but worth it!

You won’t find better people to groom your animals! They actually care about the health and well being of your pets and not just how they look. Love these ladies and won’t bring my pooch anywhere else.

Did a really fantastic job grooming my mini golden doodle and Australian bernedoodle. I sent photos of how I like their faces groomed and they matched it perfectly. Village Groomer gave them the best groom they have ever received and both dogs clearly know how handsome they look. Doodle owners can have specific preferences on how faces are groomed and they matched my requests perfectly. Dogs came back happy with their tails wagging. Thank you!!The cost was within the amount I was quoted and comparable to other places I have been to. In addition, considering the amount of time and effort they put into the groom (which really shows) the price was very fair.
