I couldnt thank Lia and her team more for being so patient with my pup during her first time boarding. In previous experiences, I could never get in touch with the owner or anyone who could provide updates about my dog. Lia & her team were so communicative and updated me on her progress throughout the day while she did her first trial sessions. She is a very shy, previously abused dog that we adopted after she was found on the side of the road, so we are always nervous leaving her anywhere new. I could tell by the way the staff talked to her in the videos, she was able to warm up thanks to their patience and compassion. I was so afraid that a kennel would meet my nervous dog and just shove her in a cage without giving her the time and attention she needs to warm up to new people. She refuses to walk in the door at most places (vets, kennels, groomers), and now she walks right in, ready to go play when we come back. I also used their grooming services with Jennifer, and she did a fabulous job. Amy loves a good roll in the dirt, but came home squeaky clean with a couple of cute bows in her hair.The facility is one of the nicest I have seen, and it seems like they’re still constantly making improvements. It’s really a little puppy oasis, and seeing my dog run around in the field just brought happiness to my heart for my favorite little baby. I am so happy that I found a place so close to home that I can feel comfortable leaving my baby for long stays. I’ll always bring her here because I trust that she’ll be well cared for and happy when I have to be away from her.

We are beyond grateful for Lia and the Lakeside Pet Lounge team! Personally, one of the hardest parts about having a furbaby is trusting them in someone elses care. Throughout our dogs stay Lia and the team put my mind at ease with regular updates and great communication. They have provided our dog, who has a few special needs, with individualized care and consideration, and in return her social skills have substantially improved! It was apparent from the videos they sent, that our dog was living her best life over at Lakeside, particularly with their new pond, which has added another level of enrichment for the pups. I also love that the large dog kennels are spacious and have both an indoor and outdoor section. It is a luxury boarding experience, but their prices are still reasonable. Thank you all so much for taking super care of our girl 🐾🐾

Lakeside Pet -Lounge, New Hampton NY is a dog’s dream vacation! We have never seen such a perfect setup for dogs. We spent a month in NY and needed to kennel our Giant Schnauzer for 2 of the weekends - first time Scout had nervousness but she was all smiles when we picked her up. The 2nd time she knew immediately where she was once we turned down the gravel road and you could tell she couldn’t wait to go and play with her dog friends! She jumped out of the car and ran straight to the play area. Lia and team are excellent communicators and they certainly understand dogs. Without hesitation I would recommend Lakeside to anyone who loves their dog and wants peace-of-mind when they have to be away from them for any amount of time.

The owner did not properly communicate a recent outbreak in their facility! Many dogs, including my own have become sick after recently visiting their facility. I understand signing liability forms and as Lea the owner says doggie day care is just like human day care/ school germs spread etc etcHowever, human schools DO advise when there is a health concern/outbreak. I of course assumed I would receive some form of communication in the event of a potential exposure. That did NOT happen! Yes, my dog enjoyed going and I enjoyed receiving videos of my dog playing and having fun but I and Im sure others would rather have proper communication when it comes to the health of our dogs! Lea says she advised all clients but that is simply NOT true. I did not hear from her or anyone associated with the facility. My dog was present during the time frame of this outbreak and has since been diagnosed the same as others who too visited during this time. A simple heads up would have been nice ... Some compassion after the fact would be nice too!

My dog Tyson recently stayed here after my family members recommended them after using their services over the summer. I was satisfied with the quality of care my dog received. He had a great time and when he returned home he settled back in to his usual routine right away.

Im so glad I found Lakeside Pet Lounge. My dog cant wait to get out of the car when we board her there. And when its time to come home...she doesnt want to leave!!!! The staff is great!! I highly recommend Lakeside Pet Lounge to anyone looking to board their dogs .Check it out!!!!

You won’t find a better dog boarding and daycare facility. Lia and her staff truly and genuinely care about every pet they take care of here - the dogs get endless snuggles, play time and activity. The place itself is beautiful, so much room to play and don’t get me started on the pond! Would highly recommend this place to anyone!

Our puppy Benji started at Lakeside at about 6 months old for 1 or 2 days/week and he has a wonderful time! He is excited to go, leaps from the car when he hears Lia, has a great time with his play group (we get videos to enjoy), and comes home so sleepy and content. Lia’s drop off and pick up times are convenient and the facilities are well thought out. Benji has also boarded at Lakeside for a week and we received updates while away and he came home beautifully groomed and happy.

My puppy absolutely loved going and such a great experience! Already have her booked for our future trips! I was sent videos of her playing around having great time and such a wonderful facility! Highly recommend!

As a first time dog mom, I’m very happy with Lakeside Pet Lounge! My pup absolutely loves to go to daycare every week to see her friends! At the end of the day, she comes home tired after playing and socializing. Lia really cares about making sure that the dogs are safe and comfortable while socializing with each other. The staff is awesome too! Thank you for taking good care of my fur baby!

I cannot recommend Lakeside Pet Lounge enough! My rescue dog Monty is generally non-social with other dogs, but Lia and her staff welcomed him without judgment and made sure that he got lots of individual outdoor play time and plenty of attention and love. Lia is incredibly communicative and regularly sent updates with lots of photos and videos. As we live in Brooklyn, I used Lakeside Pet Lounges pick-up and drop off service which was really easy and efficient. Though its an additional cost, its a worthwhile convenience considering the overall fair pricing at Lakeside.Its obvious that Lia and her staff consider each dogs needs and personality and make sure to accommodate accordingly. Lakeside will definitely be our go-to place for Monty. Also its worth noting that when Lia dropped Monty off she gifted him a brand new toy because he had become so obsessed with that particular type of toy while boarding. Thats the sort of personal touch youll find at Lakeside!

Lakesidr Pet Lounge is a life saver ! We were able to take a tour of the place and we saw that it was clean and had a full staff looking after the dogs. Our 2 dogs were well taken care of and looked great when we picked them up. We were very worried as one of our large dogs is not the friendliest, but they knew exactly what to do. They were set up in a nice sized area with a dog gate heading back to a 6ft fenced in clean yard. We will definately be using them again.

Lia and Lakeside Pet Lounge are the absolute best! I cannot speak highly enough about them - both of our dogs have such an amazing time there, and Lia is so great about sending us pictures and videos of our dogs playing with the other pups. The facilities are very nice and well kept and there is plenty of land for the dogs to run free. I know they offer boarding which is super helpful to have as needed. The entire staff is super friendly and we feel very great about leaving our dogs in such good hands. They always come home smiling and happy (and with a healthy dose of sleepiness after a day full of fun, which after a long day for us humans it is a nice treat). If you have been thinking about doing doggie day care, take my word that it was the best decision we could have made for our dogs and Lakeside has exceeded all expectations.

Lakeside Pet Lounge in New Hampton is AMAZING! Lia and all of the staff are super friendly. My dog loves going there! I love that they have a great indoor space as well as outdoor runs for all of the dogs. It is super clean and very reassuring that all dogs need to be up to date on all vaccines to attend! I would highly recommend for both daycare and boarding! Love, love, love!

I tried Lakeside for the 1st time, and my dog developed a horrible illness/cough within the week. Lakeside did own up to an outbreak, but assumed no liability. I am taking him into the vet now. Shameful. Never again!

My sons dog Athena absolutely loves going to the New Hampton location. She gets very excited when we pull in to the property because she knows she will have a great time, she sleeps all the way home. Lia and her staff are super friendly and attentive. I also love that I get videos during the day. Highly recommend this daycare.

We LOVE Lakeside on 1400 County Rd in Middletown!! When my pup first started going to daycare he was very shy, reserved, and didnt want to be around other dogs/people. He ran for the door immediately. Now, a few weeks in, he knows exactly where we are as soon as we pull onto the road. He is so excited he cant wait to jump out of the car and go inside. He runs inside and doesnt even look back! Complete turn around from how he was in the beginning. They take such good care of the pups and send pictures and videos throughout the day, which is extremely comforting to see. The staff are so friendly and the facility is very clean. Lakeside Pet Lounge will always be my #1 choice for doggy daycare!

My corgi puppy absolutely loves coming to Lakeside. We use them weekly for daycare and have used them for a week long boarding stay. He always comes back happy and tired, and is so excited whenever we arrive for drop off. The new facility is clean, bright and open and Lia and all her staff could not be more friendly and helpful.

We’ve been to the older facility and then the brand new facility this year and we along with our two girls (3) yo Rottweiler and (2) yo Frenchie loved it! They took wonderful care of them while we were away and kept us updated with pictures and videos every day. We can’t recommend them enough!!!

Our dog absolutely loves going here for daycare! Theres outdoor and indoor facilities for those bad weather days. Everything is super clean and I appreciate that vet certs are required. Our pup always comes home tuckered out ... highly recommend!

My dog Jax had so much fun at the Lakeside Pet Lounge. I was sent videos and pictures during his stay which are always great to receive when you have to leave your pet when going away.

My dog loves it there. Shes not very social and Lia is very accommodating and separates my dog from others.

I cannot say enough positive things about Lakeside Pet in New Hampton. I contacted them (before they were open) about boarding my dog over Winter Break. Lia kept me up to date on when they would be opening and suggested I bring Olive to daycare a few times so she would get to know them, the other dogs, and the facilities. We started bringing Olive in November once a week and it has been the best thing for her. She has become social with other dogs, gets a lot of energy out and has even lost weight/toned up. She absolutely loves going and in fact after a day of rest, waits at the garage door hoping we will bring her again. When we left her for five days over break, we knew she was being well taken care of and having a great time and getting her energy out. Lia sends videos and pictures of the dogs playing and has been improving the facility in phases. It is a great place to take your pet for either daycare or boarding. We will be continuing the weekly day care throughout the year and using Lakeside Pet for all our boarding needs as well! You will not be disappointed if you give them a try!

Lia, the owner, is super accommodating and responsive and will gladly text you updates about your babies, many times without you even asking. The entire staff is friendly, professional, and caring, and they seem to really enjoy what they do.I have been to a few different places over the past 20 years, but I wouldnt take my pets anywhere else now that I know about Lakeside Pet Lounge. My dogs actually get excited when we drop them off because they know they will be having fun! Your pup will have lots of exercise and play time instead of sitting in a crate for hours.Lia genuinely cares about taking great care of your animals and her prices are definitely reasonable. Ive been to both locations and I highly recommend this business.

I agree with the other five star reviews: Great staff that cares about your dog(s), large clean upgraded facility, occasional updates during the stay and LOTS of free time. The correspondence with the two facilities is hard to find these days and I recommend their services to others.

I am in love with the way my dog was cared for. Lia kept me posted with how he was doing, send me videos and most of all gave me piece of mind. This in an INCREDIBLE place for your fur baby!
