How to Train A Dream Dog

My dog, Leroy, came from Lollypop Farm. He was a good dog but with Micheles patience and training (for me more than Leroy), he is a welcome addition amongst my family and friends. For anyone thinking of joining the dog gym, using their grooming services or training, I would wholeheartedly recommend that they RUN not walk, to the Dog Gym and utilize all of the services they offer, especially in the cold weather months when it is dangerous to keep your dog outside in frigid temperatures. The Dog Gym offers a safe, comfortable environment for your dog to get out its energy. Micheles training techniques will help your dog become the well behaved, affectionate best friend youve wanted all your life. Thanks Dog Gym!!

Michele is a wonderful trainer. She is thoughtful and precise and she conveys all of that to pets and their owners alike. She demonstrated the need for consistency and explained the logic behind much of the training that will help me to be a better trainer. If a pet owner understands the workings of the dog mind, the dog will perform better. What seemed so mysterious or complicated, was simplified by Michele. As I have said to people to whom I have recommended Michele, if my puppy turns out to be a naughty dog, it will be my fault entirely. Thanks to Michele,I have been provided all of the necessary tools through these training sessions, to be a competent, responsible dog owner with a dog that people can enjoy. Now, it is up to me and I hope I can live up to Michels expectations. She was a joy to work with and I am very sad to see our sessions come to an end.PS Thanks to her powers of observation, our poor puppy, whom we thought was simply the devil to house train, turned out to have a UTI, which was solved with antibiotics. Thank you for pointing out that possibility to us Michele.Huge problem...solved!

I highly recommend the course 30 Days to Puppy Perfection for all new puppy owners! I signed up for the course just before we picked up our 8 week old border collie puppy; starting the course earlier would have been even better. The most important things I learned were crate training, puppy wake windows and nap schedule, the need for cool down time, and canine enrichment. And the importance of pre-training. Michelle and staff helped me to understand that puppy biting, chewing, accidents, and fearfulness are perfectly normal and will pass with proper training and management. Our puppy is already a dream dog at only 6 months old, thanks to this course. He still has a lot to learn, but he is loving, responsive, and fun, and plays beautifully with other dogs. I dont know how we would have made it to this point without Michelles great course!

I can not say enough about Michele and her business. Her training methods are phenomenal!! She is very thorough, consistent, kind, genuine, and always willing to help outside of training sessions. It is obvious she cares deeply about the dogs and owners. I attempted to train other dogs, but nothing has been as effective as Micheles recommendations. If you want someone who is truly doing it for the benefit of your dog and you as the owner, hire her!! She is amaaaaaazing!!

I have known and worked with Michele for several years now; I am also one of the groomers at the Dog Gym. She treats every dog as if it was her own. I have seen very frustrated owners come in, ready to give up and she gives them the tools and the knowledge they need so that their dog can stay forever in their homes. It is an amazing thing to watch.....I HIGHLY recommend The Dog Gym not only for training purposes, but exercise, socialization, and of course all your pets grooming needs!

We love !Michelle and the dog gym.Training: we took our dog Here for ten weeks of training. Michelle taught us how to properly train our dog and it was a grand success. She taught us dozens o useful tricks and commands and also gave us the ability to train him to do just about anything. Hes so good now. Like a whole new dog.Boarding: we board our dog once a month with michelle. Her rates are competitive but moreimportantly our dog gets attention, exercise and a safe environment. Wouldnt take him anywhere else. He loves it. She sends us pics of his day with her. We love that.

A fantastic place for dogs to play off some of their energy. My doberman was a bit intimidated by some of the obstacles and treadmill, but Michele helped us get him into a comfort zone where he loved trying all of these new things. In the heart of Rochester, this is a great spot for pet owners to bring their dogs for some bonding time and to get your pup dog-tired. With such a caring staff and a variety of activities, events, and playgroups, this is a wonderful dog gym!

I dont always get a chance to take my dog for a walk when I get home from work so I loved the idea of being able to bring my dog to the dog gym. This was the first time that my dog has been on any agility equipment so I was a little nervous but the trainer took the time to show my dog and I on how to use each piece of equipment.My dog and I had lots of fun and will be back very soon to play and I also signed up for the beginner obedience class.

Michele did an awesome job training our Winston! Winston is a shiba inu which are a difficult breed. He is well-trained pup now! Michele also was so very flexible with our crazy schedules. We would highly recommend Michele!

My dog Buddy and I are about to start a new journey at TheDogGym on University ave, took him there for his first walk yesterday around the track and used all the agility training they had there he even got on the tread mill and did great Im so proud of him and Michele lennon the owner gave us a hand it a great experience. Were so looking forward to start our training.

We felt very comfortable leaving our dog with Michelle. She had a great time and came home with a renewed spirit! We will use her again knowing that she has a great place to stay.

What kind of business doesnt return calls? Are they even for real? I would recommend someplace else just for that reason.
