Craig Park Dog Park

Great place for your dog to go. But no restaurants they have Em, but theyre locked only open when theres A. Reunion or something going on, which is dumb. They should have unlocked. People could use them when their dogs are at the park. Being a post, better, think about that

Ive been taking my husky Raynor to this dog park since he was a puppy (hes now 2). The park has been in better shape but is still a nice area for the dogs. The benches are peeling and there isnt really much shade to sit in. The people and dogs are almost always nice, over the last two years Ive only had a handful of experiences with an aggressive dog that wasnt handled well. Raynor and I will be coming back for a long time!

Nice place to bike with some tunnels, playground, pickle ball, and water falls. Wheelchair accessible

I found it by accident while walking my dog Peanut. I took him the next morning and he loved it although he was the only dog there. Its clean, well thought out. It has 2 sides, one for big dogs and one for small dogs like my Peanut. He ran and played and explored.

Ground was dirt more than grass. I will say, its pretty well kept. No doggie poo on the grounds, ppl did pick up after their dogs. 2 gate entry is very nice and had a white board for messages. My dog Mister enjoyed smelling all around the park. Couple cars did show up while we were there, for the large section.

My boy enjoys this dog park. Theres a water fountain for the pups in warm months, nice benches, and lots of toys around. There is also very little shade(the benches have umbrellas in the summer), and the large dog park can be very muddy.

Great, clean park with plenty of space for big and small dogs. Even has bags if you forgot to bring some!

This is tough because the park itself is a beautiful place. But like so many other people who have posted there are major concerns that never get addressed or enforced. One major thing is that your supposed to keep your dog on a leash ITS THE LAW. LEASH YOUR dogs all the way into the fenced in area not just the greeting area . Because other peoples dogs in that area may not be ok with yours . So many irresponsible dog owners that ignore the laws of the land. And make up there own. I have seen people take there dogs out there car and run towards us and the owner never called it back. I had to step in in-between our dog and the approaching dog and tell him loudly and firmly no . And to get. And then I approached the owner and said leash your dog . Whats it going to take? Very few responsible people go here. But the regulars here are very clicky and follow there own rules but the actual law. Because the rest of the park isnt a dog park its a general park. Theres on section thats a dog park . Every else outside the dog park fense they should be leashed . Someone is going to get bit and there will be a dog fight on yours hands again and someone is going to get sued probably again. So what will it take for people to step up and make this place safe?

This dog park is pretty much just an enclosed field for dogs over 25 pounds. If your dog is under 25 lbs they have an alternate park with an obstacle force. The park is not family friendly as they do not allow any children under the age of 12, even with adult supervision. Also, posted all along the front of the park area are signs saying No Pee Area. This supposedly is to prevent urine smell which is absolutely a joke as it fronts the off leash area/dog parks. The only reason I gave it two stars is 1) the area is larger then that at the OLA of Eldredge Park, and 2) the benches all offer umbrellas to protect from sun/rain/etc.

Pups like being able to run free. Size is good and maintenance seemed adequate.

Love this dog park! Owners and dogs have always been friendly and cooperative. Brian also takes such good care of the park and is always making sure there is poop bags and water amoung other things! My dogs LOVE having a place to run and play! Highly recommend this dog park!

A great place to let your pup get some exercise. One section for smaller dogs, one for larger. Waterers provided in the summer, you will need to bring your own now that it is shut off for the winter. There is a small gated area as you enter to do a meet and greet through the fence for new dog friends. Good job Painted Post!

The park was honestly very nice. Unfortunately, the people running it are not. Its perfect for most dogs, provided their owners are over 12 years old, and they dont have children in their family under 12 years. It very much matters.

We came from PA to do a meet and greet with a rescue Rottie. This is the most AMAZING dog park! So clean and doggy friendly. Wish we lived closer!!

What a great place to bring your dog . this is privately owned and very nice . there is drinking water and plenty of benches for mom and dad to relax on . Please be respectful and appreciative of this place and pick up after your dog .

We absolutely love this place. It’s a godsend for our GSP who needs LOTS of exercise. It’s so much room to run and so well kept.

Different people there now. No one picks up after their dog. Plus some of the dogs arent trained to recall & some start fights.

Would not recommend. While the park is nice and clean, the people who run it are NOT friendly or professional at all. I will not come back and be treated so poorly.

Great place to go definitely would recommend weve gone twice so far both our dogs love playing with the other dogs :)

Smallish dog park, but super friendly dogs and people

Our pup had a great time, some exercise and met some nice dogs to play with!

The bigger dog side only had balls and things to play with. The little dog side had tunnels and things
