The Dog Tutor

Maria and Don are the best! When I had surgery on my hand, I thought for sure I could stay home with my puppy. Starr and take care of her. Little did I know I would be in a HUGE bandage and my arm had to remain elevated above my head for days! I called Don and he came over to my apartment immediately and brought Starr home to his house where she stayed for three days! She was treated like family! Don is extremely reliable; sometimes coming twice a day to walk and/or feed her when I work late. Starr goes on walks with him, meets other dogs in our complex, and Don always leaves me a note about their time together. We are so appreciative of their loving care and expertise advise. Don began caring for Bella when we moved to CT in 2013. Over the years, Don has been a consistent part of Bellas world and given her stubborn streak, understands how to work with her effectively. She listens well to him and Ive never had a reason to question the quality of care he provides. Don is dependable, customer centered and willing to help (even when business trips pop up at the last minute). Don has earned our trust and this review!

Don has been walking my Rhodesian Ridgeback/Coon mix for over two years. He has a wonderful relationship with this rather ornery, hard to control dog. I would also like to commend Don for being extremely reliable regardless of weather conditions.

Don and Maria Henderson love dogs. When you start with this simple formula, both dog and owner are inspired and relieved at the same time. What I love about Dons Training (I use them for both pet walking and training), is that he is the real deal. No glamour, or TV show, he delivers results. Within a short period of time my dog (a very stubborn breed) was responding and behaving much better. HIGHLY recommend!

Don has been walking my rescue pup, Bowie since moving to Ridgefield in October 2017. Don is so good with Bowie; even putting his coat on him when its cold out! Don was referred by a friend who adores her dogs. She was right! My golden loves him and most importantly I trust him wholeheartedly to care for her.He is very easy to coordinate with and there has never been any issue with him about reliability. I have used Don on a daily basis and also have had Nilla stay with Don and Maria in their home. Maria even bakes for Nilla around the holidays!! Nilla is precious to our family and I feel that Don understands that!

We could not be happier with Don and Maria. Gizmo loves them! With our ever changing schedules we were very worried no one would want to work with us to get our little bud the extra attention and exercise he needs but they have been very patient with us. We know Gizmo is safe and happy when he is with them and we are very grateful.

Very responsive and knowledgeable about pets, Don & Maria were great and provided periodic updates, Cody returned home very happy, we will use their services again.
