LOVE LOVE LOVE MILLIES POOCH PARLOR! They Always do such a super job! So nice! Pups love it there too. They will also groom my dogs hair long or short, I also have a large golden retriever she needs her fur cut close because of her physical condition.

Always very happy with the grooming services. They are very nice and very professional. The employees know what theyre doing and the prices are fair and reasonable. Lily, my Standard Goldendoodle is well treated and very happy there. I highly recommend Millys Pooch Parlor.

Millies Pooch Parlor is one of the cleanest groomers Ive ever seen. They clean up after each and every dog. They even have a potty room for them. Donn is the guy who takes care of my fur-babies. He is very friendly, courteous and listens to my requests. The rest of the staff has been extremely polite and accommodating. Their prices are reasonable. My girls and I have been going there for 1.5 years and I couldnt speak more highly of a company. BONUS: sometimes you catch a cute window puppy photo 😁

I bring my pitbull to get a little spa day and have had nothing but great experiences with everyone, I have taken him to multiple groomers prior to finding Millies Pooch Parlor and he is the cleanest and happiest he has ever been when he leaves here. When we moved to Port, my wife and I had to find a new groomer for our pup. Our pup is finicky with his nails. We were so happy to discover Millies in Port! Antoinette did a fantastic job and the prices are definitely more than reasonable! Highly recommend. Please note - you can pay with card but you cannot tip with card. Bring cash for tips! Always does a good job.My dog smells and looks great after returning from his groomer!!!Faith has been taking care of my pup for a while now.He isnt the easiest pet to cut, Im Well Aware, Yes, Ive tried!However, hes adjusted great.My dog is not as scared, as his 1st few sessions were rough...Now hes calmer when we leave him.I think hes gotten used to his6 - 8 week Grooming Schedule.I would recommend them for most of your pets needs!Our furry friends always return fresh and clean!

I cannot say enough good things about Millies Pooch Parlor. They were very accommodating and friendly when I called to make the appointment for my Beagle to be groomed. When I dropped her off this morning we were greeted by Donn and I had confidence in him right away that my dog would have a great experience. She looks and smells great and feels good too. This groomer is very professional, reasonably priced and most of all excellent customer service. I can tell they love what they do and I will definitely continue to be a customer.

Great grooming salon! Local and reasonably priced! We came up to see family and decided to get our dog groomed here with Millie and our dog looked, felt and smelled amazing! Reasonable grooming time as well! (My dog can take at least 2 hours sometimes even up to 5 if there’s other dogs getting groomed on a busy day! But that means I can get other errands done too!) She did a fantastic job grooming her and would recommend her! Can’t wait to go back up there again and get her groomed here at the shop!

We just had our long-haired cat groomed here and we are so pleased with the results and service. Our fluffy boy has been matted and difficult to brush, and Millies was recommended to us. They exceeded our expectations! Great service and worth every penny. Well definitely be bringing our little fluff back in the future!

EXCELLENT PET GROOMING FOR A GREAT PRICE!! Millie’s Pooch Parlor service is way better than the leading competitors, and I’ve been to them all, and they never seem to groom my dog quite right, but Millie’s Pooch Parlor hit it right on the nail, and blew me away at how my Jack Russell terrier, husky mixed looked! They out performed them all! THANK YOU!

Decided to try a place closer to home that was easier to get an appointment with and I was not disappointed. Don was super nice, was really great with my dog (she’s very skiddish around new people and she loved him!). Booked an appointment for October and will only be using them from now on!

Always an excellent experience at Millies. My husband and I have been using this shop for years. Over that course of time, they have done a fantastic job with 4 different dogs of ours. We live 30 minutes away now, and we still make the drive to Port Jervis to take our dogs there. Highly recommended.

Called last minute and they were able to fit my dog in for a bath. Michelle did an amazing job, and she was even able to clean his paws- which he never lets other groomers do! The whole experience was just great!

I have been bringing my dogs to Millie for the past fifteen years. They were always treated with lots of love and compassion. I feel sorry for the person who wrote negative, horrible lies about Millie. You are a disgruntled employee,obviously. So sad for you. I recently rescued a cavalier from a puppy mill. She was abused and neglected. I didnt know what to expect for her grooming experience. She hides from everyone. Well, I was pleasantly surprised. In Millies loving hands, she was so happy when I went to pick her up. She was jumping for joy. My dogs continue to enjoy their grooming experience. When I pull up, they cant wait to see Millie.

Today was our 1st time at Millies Pooch Parlor and we will definitely be back. Millie was warm and friendly. She asked many questions to make sure our Yorkie would get a cut we would be happy with. She looks great-Thanks Millie!

Thank you Millie,You took August in and did a very nice job. The other groomer I tried had way too long of a waiting time for Grooming. On top of that was hesitant to groom a older dog.I gave my opinion to funky fresh and got a very lengthy reply and justification.It must be your heritage that let you take on a job and to do it excellent without crying.👍

Millies is a wonderful place. the groomers take pride in what they do and the staff is respectful. there are some negative comments on here about Millie that are a downright lie. I worked for Millie as a bather years ago and she was nothing but respectful and friendly to me. all the dogs that left the shop were clean and looked beautifully groomed.

I called Millies Pooch Parlor after researching for a local groomer. I was so impressed with their phone message that I called back when they were open. I was greeted with a smile through the phone. They were able to squeeze me in that day. Millie and Don were amazing. They were so friendly and caring. Our baby, Lucy was in desperate need of a cleaning-up. They asked me about her, they listened to me everything I told them about her and our rescue story. I was very comfortable leaving her in such capable and loving hands.When I returned to pick up our clean and pretty little girl, she looked adorable. She was so comfortable there, that she was prancing around showing off. They put little purple bows in her hair. She was so happy. I was over-the-moon happy that she was clean and looked so beautiful. I have already made appt. for her next visit. I can not wait to see them again. They were VERY reasonable priced. I will absolutely be recommending them to anyone and everyone..THANK YOU Millie and Don.

As of todays date, 11.17.17, during the past week we have received several one star reviews full of negative comments and some outright lies - This due to a well liked employee who was let go - which resulted in some to write angry reviews - some written by folks who have never stepped foot in our shop! I will not stoop to such a level and go on attack. Our shop has been in business for 15 years, Miliie is a home town gal who who has been grooming for 25 years, has a loyal and faithful following and our longevity stands for itself. I have been grooming in this shop for over 8 years and there is absolutely NO other shop that has our qualities. Our low rate of employee turnover speaks volumes and we invite anyone to come and see for themselves what we are about and what we stand for. We treat the dogs ( and cats ) like our very own and I would urge anyone to read the FIVE star ratings we have received from REAL customers.

I was referred to the pooch parlor by my wife Adrienne. I was so happy with the outcome, for such a reasonable price.they gave my Persian cat goppie a wonderful hair cut. It took a lot of trust and courage to take him, as he was my mother’s cat that was left to me. One of the promises I made to her before she passed that I would take care of him. Thank you so much for helping me keep my promise❤️❤️

This is the best place to get your dog groomed. Millie and her staff are fantastic. The nicest and most professional people youll ever do business with!!!! Ive been a customer for years

If your dog came out with cute bows, ect. That was the bather that just got fired. If their coat was super clean, that was the bather. If your dog is difficult the bather took care of them and made friends with them. You probably rarely met her because she was in the back and not on the business cards either. She worked there for 2 yrs straight. Never took a day off, worked 6 days straight a week. Millie wouldnt even give her a day off for her Grandmothers funneral. Millie has an anger problem. She takes her anger out on employees, especially the bathers. The last 2 bathers and 1 groomer have been screamed at & fired so frequently that the next day they would just come back to work and Millie might apologize if your lucky. The other 2 employees would say it blows over. The worst thing is that the dogs become very upset when she has these blowups & they are quite frequent. The quality of bathing will now affect the quality of the groom. Make sure to check your dogs skin for dirt & grime. Dont just touch the top of the dogs coat because they use a scented, shinning slick spray on it to hide bad bathing. Millie rarely grooms anymore because it comes out choppy and she doesnt have the patience anymore. She is only in the shop now because she has to be. She lost a groomer and a bather recently. They both decided to not return and repeat the cycle of be screamed at, get fired, come back, repeat. Those 2 girls would leave work in tears, that is no eay to treat employees or run a bussiness. Yes, the new shop is nice - yes, some dogs may still come out good especially if they have a short coat and are well behaved. The bather and groomer that just left were the ones that handled difficult dogs. Also she does not like to tell pet parents if your dog has been injured or had a problem. So really look your dog over when you pick them up. I would like to add that both the bather and groomer had jobs within 24 hours & the New Boss is Fully Aware of Everything!!!

Love Millies, get the works on 2 dogs, 1 hound and one basenji mix by Don. They are friendly and reasonably priced.

My parents took their little dog to this place and they cut her with the clippers and didn’t tell them. My parents took the dog to the vet and confirmed. It’s one thing to accidentally injure a pet, it’s another entirely to not disclose it to the pet owner. Will not be using the service again.

Staff is excellent. Well trained on all dogs and even cats! My dogs love going and I love the way they smell afterwards.

They are very experienced. Cut my dogs nails and she doesnt like anyone touching her paws.

Animals are not kept in cages rather in stalls at the front of the store. People are very friendly and knowledgeable. Prices are reasonable.

As a teenager, our little Shih Tzu was denied service at several grooming places in Pennsylvania, where they would not accept dogs over 12 yo. Luckily for us we discovered Millie’s. They are the nicest groomers a pooch can dream of, they really love dogs and do a great job. Our Chompers was treated like a little princess, which she is. Millie herself has a senior Shih Tzu and has a very gentle and caring approach. The service took a bit longer — three hours - but it was very thorough and loving. Chompers came out of the salon in good mood and looking even younger. It was a real treat! Highly recommended!

Received a disturbing call from Millie Pooch Parlor this morning. I have been getting my dog groomed there for over 2 years. The lady that called was very aggressive and taking out her anger On Me regarding no shows. She began to say I had to pay a 50% deposit because I had been a no show several times. That was not true. I began to correct her by saying no I did not and she went on and on about how several people are doing this and they are tired. I asked her to please not take that out on me. When I first started there I missed an appointment but I paid for the missed appointment in full and paid for my pooch to be groomed. I never missed another appointment. I told her I was going to pay but that I was going to call someone regarding this matter. She told me ok you go ahead and all someone I am not going to make you an appointment. I cannot believe this happen. Will the owner from Millie’s Pooch Parlor please call me. I left a message.

We stopped in just for Ozzie’s nails to be trimmed. They were so nice and were able to give him such a nice cut!!! Best place around! And best of all you are able to stay. A lot of places tell you to leave. It was great to stay so Ozzie wouldn’t be nervous. Good experience... very nice people all around 🐾🐾🐕

Milkes pooch parlor is a great place

I have been looking to get my pups first hair cut whos a very nervous dog by the way and I called and called all these places and couldnt get him in anywhere and my friend mentioned millies and i called and they just happen to have an opening today so I took my precious baby Ranger to Millies today. I was so nervous probably just as nervous as my dog. It was his first time ever being groomed aside from me cutting hair from his eyes. Hes still just a puppy and tends to be afraid of strangers he doesnt know especially men. But they let me stay with him until they went to take him back and while we waited the man that welcomed us when we arrived came right up to my pup and he didnt growl at all. The woman Michelle who was going to be cutting my dog also came back and forth to him multiple times and let him sniff her and get used to her before taking him back. I was so scared to leave him but they reassured me he was ok and that they will take good care of him. It was like leaving my child at daycare. I warned them that since my pup doesnt know them they might want to muzzle him I was just nervous about how he would act being with strangers and all the buzzing noises and nail trimming. But they didnt have to muzzle him at all during the cut he was scared but did great aside from pooping all over their table lol but they handled him like champs they called me as soon as he was done. And my God when I walked in and saw my little baby all trimmed up and wearing the cutest tiny blue bandana so happy to see me. Almost not recognizable in a good way. My heart melted. My eyes watered and I just couldnt believe how adorable he looked. I hugged Michelle I thanked them all so much they didnt push him when he didnt like certain spots trimmed more than others and I knew I left them in perfectly capable hands. He looks amazing I couldnt be happier. He is so soft and looks like he lost about 5 pounds since he no longer has long hair. He just looks unbelievable! I will forever take my pup there. I am so happy that my friend mentioned their name because I dont know if I would be this happy taking him anywhere else. Such a nice place nice people wonderful customer service and they made my dog as comfortable as they possibly could. Highly recommended!
