Do not bring your pets here! This place is inhumane! My dogs are my kids, and very honestly, my life! 3 golden retrievers, and they only bathed them! They did the nails on 1 but forgot on 2?? I have the message assuring me they would all be kept together in one big area so they didnt have to be crated. Walked in, and each one was put in a crate somewhere in the back! Im sure on purpose! My little golden they did no trimming, just a wash, hacked away at her grinch feet, but they looked like someone just chopped blindIy! I thought thats what a grooming was! Bathing and full hair cut! Always has been at their previous groomers! One left the area. Feathers, as we asked for on all 3, were not touched at all! Absolutely NO grooming was done to their fur unless you consider a bath a full groom! Tails were not touched! Literally nothing was done but a bath and nails on 1. I get a call 45 minutes before Im supposed to pick them up to tell me that my 2 older goldens who are very calm BOTH completely ate their leashes! The guy stated, I forgot to take them off before putting them in their crates. Too much special breakfast maybe?! So, did they eat the clasp and all the metal, too? They said, No! He said he was working on my little golden, looked over, and the leashes were in pieces. I would expect their leashes to be removed, but the guy definitely had a different breakfast than I did! My eyes dont get that dilated from breakfast!! My 2 older goldens definitely did not eat their leashes! I know my 7 year old pups! He claimed he could not even give me pieces back, so he threw them away! These leashes were specialty leashes that my one golden has had since he was 6 months old with matching collars. I called the company to see where I could find one, but they retired the pattern. So, now, 2 of my dogs have no collars or leashes. No grooming done other than nails on 1 and bath. No trimming done as we very specifically said we wanted everything trimmed. Tail not touched, and hair still hanging with no trim underneath. Still paid full price, and yes, I left a 20% tip. When we got home, we realized we never should have been charged! Especially with 2 leashes gone and one golden with a cut-up paw. We also should have been reimbursed for the price of the collars and leashes. It kills me to think of the trauma they experienced! I failed them as a pet parent! Also, we cant take them elsewhere to actually get a grooming due to how traumatized they are now! They will definitely need to wait! For how long I dont know. Its not like they are going to get over it! We followed our old groomer Corinne from the Potsdam Humane Society to Fabulous Fur when they were working in a tiny house outside of their house in Potsdam. Corinne didnt last with them, either! When she went there they did a really bad job then, too. So, my friend took her 2 goldens there and also had a bad experience. We figured since they moved to Potsdam, we would give them another try after 2 years! I feel guilty as I never should have subjected my kids to this torture, which is what it was. Hopefully, they pass what they ate, so no trip to Burlington, VT, for an emergency surgery will be needed! Do not allow your dogs to suffer the abuse or trauma of this place! Or risk losing something very special to you that cant ever be replaced! Especially for a $50 bath with no grooming!! Its abuse that you dont know you are paying for. When we walked in, we could hear them crying in the back. My dogs never cry! Why would they? I am tremendously guilty as a parent, and my poor pups are traumatized!! Do not subject your animals to this place, please!

My dog Daisy would not let me cut her nails. I called and he got me in the same day . He cut her nails while she was being aggressive and was very calm with her 10/10

Best place in Potsdam I’ve ever been. The man who groomed my dog did an amazing job, something bows and bandanas failed to do. 10/10 would go again considering their quickness, cheapness and efficiency
