Sending our 1.5 year old duck toller to Mike was an absolute game changer!! We worked on her recall, whining, ability to have downtime, overall “manners” (like not jumping up on the counter or table to steal food), leash skills, crate training, and so much more.It use to be stressful to have her out and about when we had family and friends over because she just didn’t listen at all. We just went through the holiday season and she was an absolute breeze all thanks to Mike and the skills and tools he taught both her and us.Mike also sent us so many pictures and videos of her having an absolute blast every day with all the dogs running around and swimming, which makes leaving your dog so much more comforting knowing they’re having the best time and in a safe environment. 100/10 recommend!

My wife and I rescued a Golden Shepard puppy earlier this year and reached out to Mike after seeing him and his pack at a local town event. My Rottie and I came to mike after we went to a local chain training facility who’s entire mindset was basically use the electric collar till the dog listens. I clearly knew this is not right for my dog and brought him to mike. My dog fell in love with mike instantly. His constant enthusiasm and dedication to my dog was truly incredible. Canine Confidence Center gave me all the tools needed as a first time dog owner. Mike is a passionate and supportive trainer, dedicated to his craft. As new dog owners, we brought our Labrador Retriever, Gigi, to Mikey at the Canine Confidence Center, and the transformation was incredible. Under Mikey’s guidance, Gigi quickly became more confident, calm, and well-mannered. Two years later, when we adopted our Golden Retriever puppy, Parmi, we knew exactly where to turn. Mikey once again worked wonders, helping Parmi develop excellent socialization skills and a calm demeanor that perfectly balanced his playful puppy energy. What truly sets Mikey apart is how he prepared our dogs for the arrival of our newborn baby. Thanks to his training, our dogs and baby are now best friends, bringing endless joy to our lives. I recently brought my Rottweiler puppy to the Canine Confidence Center, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the results. My puppy had a habit of pulling on the leash, which made our walks quite challenging. However, Mike, the trainer at the Canine Confidence Center, was incredibly knowledgeable and patient.Mike took the time to understand my puppy’s behavior and showed me effective techniques to manage and correct the leash pulling. Highly recommend Mike and the team over at CCC. They worked with me on building confidence and trust with my dog and the lessons learned have made my relationship with my dog so much stronger. I also utilized their boarding services when i went away on vacation and my doggie had so much fun and came back to me (after major convincing) better trained. Mike and his team are the best!

We contacted Canine Confidence to help with our rescue dog, Oakley. We purchased a Board and Train program package, which also included a year of one-on-one training with Mike. At our first meeting with Mike, we immediately felt comfortable with leaving Oakley in his care. He was knowledgeable, passionate about what he does, and established a connection with Oakley right away. Within hours of us dropping off Oakley for Board and Train, Mike had our anxiety-ridden, overly energetic dog calmly laying on a crowded sidewalk. A few days later, Oakley was calmly walking through a crowded Home Depot. This is behavior we never expected to see and we are thrilled with the confidence Oakley has gained. While Oakley was in his care, Mike consistently sent us video updates and thoroughly explained his training processes step-by-step. We couldn’t be happier with Canine Confidence and highly recommend Mike to all dog owners!

Mike at Canine Confidence Center is great and helped our dog significantly. Our dog Vail a husky mix is a very sweet dog, but she’s full of energy and very excitable. She had a serious leash pulling issue and would get too excited when people came over and with our little kids. After sending her to Mike for training as well as boarding for a short time she learned to get rid of both of those habits. Mike really “cultivated the calm” in Vail and she is much more well behaved and only gets excited at appropriate times.I can’t say enough good things about our experience with Canine Confidence Center 10/10 recommend for all of your dog training and boarding needs. Staying true to its name, Canine Confidence Center has given my dog confidence to play with dogs of all shapes and sizes, the confidence to get on the slat mill and run his heart out, the confidence to be curious and explore but always listen to recall and check in with us. He’s also learned obedience that has made being a first time dog owner feel easy! Nothing makes you feel better than knowing your dog is learning, while also having the best time with his pals over at CCC.

I took my dog brandy to the canine confidence center and she has so much fun and learned so much! As well as myself, i learned how to properly teach brandy the fundamentals of using pressure and release to increase Brandy‘s understanding of her recall. As well as learning the basics of the E collar and we made a plan to move forward and incorporate it into her training. Brandy also was working on the agility course, which she enjoyed so much. Overall it was a great experience and i will be coming back again. HIGHLY recommend!

I recently had my pit bull mix to come to the CCC to help him become more comfortable around other dogs. Mikey, our trainer, did an outstanding job! His expertise and patience were evident from the start. My dog, who was previously anxious and reactive, is now much more relaxed and sociable. Mikey’s training methods were effective and compassionate, making the entire experience positive for both my dog and me. We did the 3 month unlimited training sessions with Mike for our pup Hazel which I highly recommend. Mike is hands down the best trainer you could ever ask for! He truly understands dogs and their behavior and works so well with both them and their owners. He is such a nice person and always a pleasure to have sessions with. Canine confidence was recommended to me by a friend and I’m so glad because Mike was so helpful! I adopted a dog when she was a puppy and she never was the most social with other dogs and could sometimes be scared, but now that she’s gotten older (10) she’s actually become aggressive. She’s even been barking and growling at people who come to house, people she’s met many times before. Mike and his other dogs like Ajax, have helped so much in making my dog become more comfortable and less reactive around dogs and people. Mike pointed out triggers and gave tips to on how to distract her so that ziggy (and me) are less anxious. They have such a great set up with many dogs and to help promote positive play. My dog looked like she was having fun playing with another dog, which I haven’t seen in a while! I really appreciated how flexible and accommodating the canine confidence center was with my irregular work schedule. Cannot recommend enough!

We used Mikey as trainer for our two dogs, with him addressing each of their different needs. One, a pandemic puppy, who was anxious in public areas and during car rides, and who also was protective around other dogs. Our other dog was a less motivated than what fit our active lives! Mikey was patient and along the way he not only helped correct those behaviors, but gave us the tools to actual continue the training at home. Mikey is professional and treats every animal like his own, which is exactly the level of comfort we needed. We couldn’t be more grateful.

Mike at Canine Confidence Center is absolutely amazing! My wife and I got 2 very demanding puppy breeds (Rottweiler and German Shepherd) and he helped us to train our boys to be super well behaved, happy, well socialized and all around great dogs. If I could give a million stars I would! Mike has helped me build confidence and resilience in my dogs and myself and his guidance has made me so much more capable of helping rescue dogs. His ability to adapt and improvise to each dog and owners needs is incredible. It is never a one size fits all approach and he always leads with compassion for the dogs. The confidence course and enrichment actvities he has built at his facility are so creative and so fun its like going to Disney World for Dogs!

The CCC is the BEST! We came to Mike with our staffy, Macha, after trying several other places for training and all of our success is thanks to Mike!I value his methodology and love how he personalizes training based on our dog’s needs and takes the time to explain the psychology behind it. He helped Macha become well mannered and less reactive around her “triggers”. Listen to him and do your homework because you’ll be rewarded with a well trained pup. Everyone compliments her obedience and behavior now. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a quality, knowledgeable, professional, all around fun trainer! If Macha could talk she would recommend Mike too! She LOVES it there! :)

We were extremely impressed with the knowledge and expertise that Mike demonstrated while training our high energy dog. I was tired of my husky always running away during hikes. I had seen ads for Canine Confidence Center several times so I decided to reach out for help. I had seen that they can help me train my baby Shelby to do off leash recall. Even though the trip to Westchester is kinda far from where I live, it ended up being worth it. I loved the land and all the space to practice off leash recall for Shelby. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Its a fantastic place for your pup. The facility and grounds are top-notch, with plenty of toys and obstacle courses to keep your dog active. Mikey has a genuine love and passion for all dogs.  Highly recommend.
