Mud Creek Kennels

Our dogs were well taken care of! They even wanted to keep playing with the workers as we were taking them home!! Everything we sent with the dogs came home and our dogs came home well loved and happy.

I absolutely dislike leaving my dogs anywhere. But the location and the friendliness of the owners was amazing. I will most definitely be using them again if we need to kennel our dogs again for a trip!

I went on vacation for 7 days, left my 2 dogs here at Mud Creek kennels. I care for my dogs as if they were my children and when I went back 7 days later to pick them up they both looked horrible. They were both EXTREMELY dirty and they both smelled horribly. My bulldog had a gash in his face, that when I asked the owner about he claimed he knew nothing about it. When I finally got them home they both acted like they ran wild for a week. Very displeased with this business. Would not recommend!!!

I have been taking my dogs and cat to Mud Creek Kennels for over 10 years. They do a fantastic job taking care of them. My dogs take medications and they give them as prescribed. Thank you so much for the peace of mind!

We have taken our two cats to them for several years. They are very good to them. One of our cats need medicine twice daily..they are faithful to keep up with it. All the cats and dogs there are clean and spunky. Owners are on site if any questions arise. Good people.

We bring our two pups here when we go on vacations or have overnights out of town. Never once have I been nervous about leaving them here. They are always taken care of and get excited when we pull in the driveway. The kennels are clean and there’s a lot of room! (Even with our 2 extra large breed dogs in the same kennel!)

Only place I trust to take my dog. He gets excited to be going. And he hates being away from me at night but it has not dimmed his excitement when he thinks we are going there during the day. He goes nearly everyday for daycare. And boards when I go out of town for work.

My dog Bo has been staying with Dave and Candy since he was a pup whenever I need to leave town. He is now 9 years old and still wags his tail rapidly anytime I ask if he wants to go see them. I know everyone at Mud Creek Kennels treat him well while he is there and I have the utmost confidence/faith that he is cared for.Dave, Candy, Chad, and Liz....Thanks for all you do and for always being flexible!

The facility was nice and updated with heated floors and outdoor runs. My baby didnt like it though because they did not walk her or let her out. Her toys came home with poop on them and she pooped in the house to let me know her displeasure. I would rather pay extra and have a couple walks a day for my dog.

My Vet recommended Mud Creek Kennels, I Boarded my cats here. They were loved and cared for better than home. Really like the cat house.Clean with homey touches. All creatures Great and Small

I LOVE MY DOGS. I would never leave them anyplace that I felt suspicious of. I can guarantee that I am real, honest to God person that is in no way affiliated with this kennel. In fact, I have scouted this place out and kept a very close eye on it before ever even contemplating leaving my babies there. The kennels are on a nicely kept farmland away from loud noises and surrounded with nature.I come from Houston, Texas and am very weary of boarders and facilities. You can actually find a dungeon in large cities. What I saw here was a normal, safe and sanitary run. Does it smell like a kennel - certainly - because it is. Does it smell of neglect, urine and feces? No. Not at all. But honestly folks, excrement mixed with sanitizers doesnt equate to baked bread and sugar cookies. The place is well cared for, clean & sanitary.I almost think what is happening in the negative review below is what sometimes happens when a competitor who continually looses business to another. Mud Creeek doesnt just win over business because of price it is also because of the staff. I know they will do whatever is needed to care for my animals and keep them both happy and content.The price doesnt hurt either. There really is no reason, notwithstanding having a licensed veterinarian or licensed vet tech on premises, that a run for a dog should cost $25 to $30 a night! Some kennels in the area charge that times 2 even if the pets are small and share a space!!! What are they offering for the increase? Ive visited and interviewed many - I can say in my opinion - they offer nothing extra and actually less.This same dilemma has come to haunt my hairdresser because she charges prices that are affordable for this region. She is continually berated and told to up her prices to be in line with others. She wont and I am glad. She is personable, has repeat business and her prices are just one of many factors she has the clientele she does. Clientele that still drive 30-40 miles just to see her. Take in gas @ $4.00 a gallon - it is safe to say that price is not the only consideration.I like Mud Creek and have only heard ONE bad thing EVER. It is the review below - sorry but I just dont agree and I dont think any new guest would either.

My dogs have always gone there. They are great. When one of my dogs passed away and they found out, they gave me a handmade ornament to memorialize him when I dropped my remaining dog off.

This is a surprising find so close to home. Staff are super informative. Site is clean and well kept. It’s out in the fresh air country which is always good. Easy to tell that owners and staff genuinely love animals.

Dave and Candy always greet our dogs and us warmly. They always have our dogs best interest at heart.

The only place I will take my dog. She didnt want to come back home. She had so much fun. They treated her like she was there own.

Nice place, friendly, and cant beat the prices. Boarded our dog york, so we could do some trails that dident allow dogs and this place was perfect.

Super experience for us. Our dog was comfortable there ; he even kissed Dave goodbye!!

The owners are very friendly and really love animals. They take good care of all of the pets they keep.

We have 5 dogs and Mud Creek is always quick to get us in last minute of we need it! I recently delivered my daughter via emergency C section and mud creek was able to watch our one dog on and off for a week and half while I was in the hospital recovering! Love having them just down the road and they are always SO great with all our dogs!

Great people.. got me in last minute for my two dogs ! Saved my trip and was priced very fair !

I was extremely nervous leaving our 1 year old Olde English Bulldog while we went to a wedding out of state. So glad we took the chance. The owners are so polite and our pup really enjoyed his time there. Will definitely be using again
