The Elegant Pup

Yogi had never been groomed and loved it here! They gave him a perfect cut and he looks adorable and is so happy! They had him done very quickly and everyone there was so nice! We live over 45 minutes away in Greenport and will definitely be back to see these nice ladies! Thanks for a fantastic job!

We were so lucky to have found Elegant Pup . Our vet had recommended them and we are so glad that they did. We have a cavalier king charles spaniel ( Olivia) and a pug ( Raven). Both dogs look like the Divas that they are....

Ive been taking my Dachshunds to The Elegant Pup for quite a while. Im very happy with this groomer. They do a wonderful job grooming them! And my doggies practically drag me into the salon. They are careful with them and treat them very well. This is a great place to take your pets for grooming!

The Elegant Pup for did an amazing grooming my Husky Bane. He looks fantastic. Anyone who has dealt with a Husky knows that they tend to be a bit hyper 🙄 and the thickness of their coat is no joke. Merci and Jan handled my Bane with such kindness and gentleness. The amount of hair that they took off of him is incredible. I would definitely recommend them to anyone in search of a groomer.

We can not say enough great things about Elegant Pup. We’ve been taking our dog here for years and couldn’t be happier. I drive half an hour, up from the south shore, and pass more than a dozen pet grooming businesses, to put my little best friends in the care of Merci and her amazing staff.Merci is the type of business owner that wants to make sure youre happy. They all say that, but we all know it doesnt play out that way lots of the time.Kat has groomed my LBFs the last few times and she has always been willing to spend any time necessary to fully understand what I want and what my LBFs need.My family cant thank them enough for the time, effort, dedication and care put into making sure were taken care of. HIGHLY recommend.

Just brought our doodle chip in today. We were looking for a new groomer because hes 100+ lbs. They did an awesome job. He smelled and felt really clean and fluffy. His haircut was really nice too.

Our Precious babies had visited The Elegant Pup last month, Kat groomed them, and the outcome was Beautiful! Many pictures we posted, with lots of views!We decided to go back, unfortunately Kat is no longer working there, and we were not advised of such. Someone new was there, when we came to pick up our precious cargo,“OH BOY!To say the least.... the results were....HORRIBLE.Our Wheaten Terrier has a cut that made her look like an OWL, not pretty at all, our second baby, also a Wheaten Terrier, looked like a “DOODLE, which we had specifically asked“NOT TO” We were extremely disappointed,And as a result will no longer have our babies groomed by them. It is a pretty penny what is charged for DISAPPOINTMENTSincerely,Disappointed !

My dog came for a bath and he loved it! My dog is very anxious normally but he got along with everyone and he turned out amazing! The place is very clean and organized and I recommend this place to anyone! Everyone is also very nice and it was definitely worth the trip! Ill definitely be coming back here again!!

My Scottish Terrier Kipper went to get groomed at The Elegant Pup today and they did an amazing job he looks wonderful!!! I absolutely recommend them.

Had a 2:00 pm grooming appointment and my 2 dogs were not done until 8:25 pm. One of my dogs was apparently left alone with leashes and chewed up and swallowed pieces of fabric. He has been throwing up for days. Also, when the dogs got home, they were extremely thirsty and had to pee badly. Will never go back again.

Groomers are very caring about my pets. They do a terrific job in making them look great. I highly recommend them to anyone considering a trusting groomer.

Horrible experience!! The woman working there is nasty, she ripped the money out of my hand! My dog he came home with fleas... HORRIBLE do not waste your hard earned money there and don’t torture your beloved pet !! Zero stars if I could!!!
