We rescued a dog in January, and she ended up having more behavioral issues than we or the rescue anticipated. We sought help from Paws, and I have to say, the knowledge we gained from a few private sessions is worth every penny. They’ve helped us get to a place of mutual trust and respect with our dog, that has changed our quality of life, and especially our dog’s. Can’t thank Lora enough for her wealth of knowledge, experience, and skill. We use what we’ve learned every day, and with each day, Susie is a happier, healthier, calmer dog, and we are more able to give her the life she deserves and the leadership she needs. Thank you!!!!

I can not say enough great things about this place! I brought my (very sweet, but very hyper) 1½ year old golden here and having him in the Leash Foundations class was the best thing I could have done. The owner, Lora, was so informative and patient and just overall amazing and she has helped us so much. Because of her, it is night and day walking him now and now is actually enjoyable for both of us.Weve done other classes and go to Camp K9 and we love those too!

I’ve put three pups through training with PAWS. The staff is wonderful, the facilities both in SGF and in HF are clean, safe, and comfortable to be in. Even the other pet owners are courteous.

This facility and its people are top notch professionals. My dog Remy and I have participated in their goals program as well as two of their obedience classes. My dog is very leash reactive and with their help we have been able to manage it. They gave us the tools to finally be able to take lunge free walks and I cant thank them enough. Its been a lot of hard work and will continue to be so but the reward has been so worth the effort. They are exceptionally knowledgeable and professional, obviously love what they do and are eager to help you and your dog build the best partnership possible. We can not say enough good things about Bri and Lora and this business!!! We first met Bri to help with our rescue pup and his confidence and she continues to work with us as we grow with our dog. She is incredibly talented and the improvements we see daily with our dog are amazing. She is relaxed, professional and not only helps your dog but also you as the handler to be the best possible duo. We have taken classes as well and the atmosphere and instructions are always welcoming and positive. Last but not least, our pup goes to their daycare and he thinks it’s the best thing ever. The whole team is wonderful and lovely. Look no further for the place to help your dog become family!

Highly recommend!! This is by far the best facility with the most amazing, patient, kind and knowledgeable staff!! My husband and I had recently rescued a very leash reactive pup. It was extremely difficult to walk her in places around other dogs. We knew we needed expert help and guidance for us to be able to train her. We completed a 6 week private lesson course and within the first week we immediately saw improvement! All the wonderful gals at Paws gave us the knowledge and tools we needed to be able to train Ellie and not long after we were able to incorporate Ellie into a group lessons!! Thank you Lora, Bri, Brittany, Marg and Sydney for all you’ve done for us!!!

Superb facility and trainers at North County Paws for Obedience. My dog gets so excited and loves going to classes here and has learned so much from the very caring staff.

Excellent learning experience at obedience class for all dogs. How dogs get along with there owners n along side by side with other dogs. How well you get time well spent in learning new sits n treats with excellent command n dog learns how to. Only treats from time to time due that ure dog would expect it all the time. You dont want to do that. Ure dog would become very over weight. Also your Dog will be able to learn more obedience commands downs, lay, what awsome obstacle coarse tricks ure Dog can learn with you. On a leash or within a lot experience you are able to have that trust with ure dog that it be side by side with you at all times with out the leash. Truely amazing.Thank you lotsa for everyone in the class for awsome experience to interacting with everyone how well my Dog got along with everyone elses n how well their got to meet my dog. Started in a 6 wk.training class for my newly adopted 2yr.old.Balanced Companion Class.Just love it.Wonderful instructors.Great facility.
