Weve brought our small dog to Dawn about 3 times now, for up to a week, and shes absolutely our go-to person for this. She tends to the dogs like they were her own children, Id say. No cages here - just big open spaces and socializing.

I did not know about Dawn until a few days ago. I ran in to a big problem as I was staying with family as I had an emergency and my family loved my dog but the landlord says that dogs are not aloud do to insurance so my family was told my dog had to go or they had to go. My family helped me by asking everyone they knew if they could take my dog then I was looking for a dog boarding near me and I found Dawn. I called her and left a message and she called me back in a quick amount of time. I explained to her what was going on and because she was on her way out the door for the day to meet up with friends she could not take my dog that night. Dawn did let me bring my dog the next morning. I was late getting to her and she understood. My sweet Hazel got to be around other dogs and got a lot of exercise. I would recommend her to all. Dawn gave me some information that I did not know and she gave me very good information. I will be using her again when I need a spot for my sweet Hazel to go when she can not be with us her loving family. Thank You for all you do for my sweet Hazel and all the other dogs as well. I would give you more stars as I feel that 5 stars are not enough as you are way more then 5 stars.

Dawn was great with our dog. I was able to text her and make sure everything was ok, and I could rest easy knowing that our pup was taken care of. It’s obvious that Dawn loves dogs, and takes wonderful care of them.

Wr bring our very energetic puppy to Dawn weekly for puppy play care. Dawn truly goes above and beyond taking our pup on adventures and carrying over our training techniques! She has been an absolute life savor for our family and our pup just loves going to Dawns!!

Othello, my black Labrador retriever, is just a puppy, so he has only known Dawn a short time, but he loves boarding with her. She lets him play outside, and he gets to meet other canines, unlike at home where he is surrounded by humans. She also understands his need to jump into a pond every now and again.Her prices are great, she provides corrective training when needed, and is a true animal advocate. She also provides advice to new pet owners like me about neutering, natural foods, and developmental stages.

Dawn has helped us out on many occasions, even on short notice and when we were late getting back. She is flexible and our dog Buddy got a nice social experience. Dawn is a natural dog lover.

DAWNS DOG BOARDING is my ace in the hole! Dawn has watched my dogs as I zigzagged the world the last seven years. Going away was persistently a big worry before I found Dawn. The question, Who would give my little guys the care and love they need? would wrack my brain. I couldnt bear the thought of a cold kennel or a cage at my vets. Then came Dawn. She treats each dog as an important individual in her cherished pack. My older dog, Taz, was given the respect a senior citizen deserved. My young dog, Pinball, is given the time to run and play to his hearts content. Trusted medicine administration e.g. injections(poor Taz), and simple dog maintenance e.g. nail cutting(poor Pinball) have been no problem at Dawns. Taz was allowed his own slower pace and space and Pinballs exuberance for high-jinx and playmates have always been fulfilled. If it is weeks abroad or an emergency last minute weekend, no matter what, Dawn is the greatest.

Dawn was responsive and wonderful with my puppy, Stanley, who stayed with her for 2 nights while I was in the area. I will certainly go back when I am in town!

So glad we found Dawn to care for our dog. Never have to worry that our dog is being loved and cared for.

Our 5 year old dog has been staying with Dawn since he was a puppy - it is his home away from home! Dawn looks after all the pups as if they were her own, and they gets lots of love and attention, all while enjoying time and space in the beautiful Hudson Valley.
