We have 2 Italian Greyhounds who are very high strung. Karen and Rich are absolutely wonderful with them! We are so happy to have a place to leave our boys and feel comfortable and at ease that they will be well taken care of. Our boys are very comfortable there too! Thank you, Karen and Rich

A wonderful, cozy, home away from home for our precious little cavalier, Morgan. We brought our dog here for her first boarding away from home and we couldnt be happier. Karen and Richard treat your dog, while you are away, like it is their own. Morgan had plenty of play time in a fenced outside area. She slept in a private and spacious crate, in a lovely heated building, which was purpose built especially for boarding.We have found Morgans second home anytime we are away.

Rich and Karen care wonderfully for our fur baby! I cant think of any others I trust to care for her more and she has been visiting with them for years. I consider Maple Lawn her Doggie spa! She loves her visits with them and I am always grateful for their assistance.

Maple Lawn Bed and Biscuit provides safe and comfortable accommodations for your beloved dogs. Karen and Rich took a chance on boarding our sweet older dog who has stranger anxiety. Because of their patience in dealing with our boy and their willingness to give him a chance, our dog now looks forward to staying at Maple Lawn. Our toy breed dog has also done very well in their care. We also appreciate the cleanliness and how well maintained the facility is. Highly recommended.

Maple Lawn is by far the best boarding facility I have come by. The owners are so friendly and caring. Not only that, they are also very experienced with all ages/types of dogs. Some things that stuck out to me were; how pristine and clean their facilities are, as well as how many dogs they allow at once. Their 9-12 animal maximum ensures all animals get superior attention and treatment. They also have a great relationship with one of the best vets in the area (Dr. Nelson, Helping Paws), which reassured me that if something were to happen, my dog would be well taken care of.Honestly 5 stars isn’t enough for this business, they deserve so many more. If you’re looking for, what i consider, a perfect boarding facility, please visit/inquire with Maple Lawns. You (and your fur baby) will not be disappointed!!!

I have used Maple Lawn to board my dogs several times. I keep returning to Karen and Rich because my dogs absolutely love them! I have peace of mind knowing that my dogs are getting the best of care in a spotless, large, and well-cared for kennel. They have a lovely fenced area that is large and the dogs can run and play with Karen or Rich right there in attendance at all times. They also cater to any needs like meds or special food instructions that may be involved. My dogs are not “cooped up” in small surroundings or cages. My recent boarding was 41 days long! That is a long time for my dogs to be away from me. Karen routinely emailed me with what “the boys” were doing. Upon my return the boys were happy to see me. However, they were also interacting with Karen and Rich at the same time. They were healthy and obviously well cared for. There is no other dog care I would consider using. Both my dogs and I have peace of mind if they are with Karen and Rich!

I highly recommend this B&B for all the pups out there! Karen and Rich have been terrific with my dog, Ranger! They are very accommodating and have taken such good care of our dog. I have always been hesitant to board our dog after a bad experience at another kennel. Karen was sure that our dog would do well and allowed us to do a few shorter visits so that Ranger could get comfortable before us trying a full day or an overnight at the B&B. I very much appreciated this as our dog will not eat if he is stressed or feels left behind. Ranger immediately fell in love with Karen and Rich and has done very well with staying there with the other dogs. I love the fact that I can comfortably leave Ranger for a daycare day or overnight and know that he is getting the proper attention and care that he needs. I say that with confidence because it allows us to feel like we can enjoy the day or be on vacation without worrying about our pup (Obviously we miss him like crazy!). The kennel areas/ play areas are clean, smell good, and warm for the cold winter days. I have never seen a better place to board a pup and would highly recommend this local business that supports a local family! A big thanks to Karen and Rich for taking such good care of Ranger!

We are first time dog owners and this was our first occasion to leave our dog overnight while we were away. I was a little nervous about leaving a 5 month old puppy, particularly as ours is a small mixed breed. Thankfully, everything went really well and we are very grateful. Karen and Rich have a very clean and comfortable set-up for the dogs they board. We will definitely be bringing our dog back in the future and would highly recommend their business to others. If your looking to board your beloved pets this is the spot. Our 3 dogs stayed here for 3 nights. Mind you they never had ever been boarded before. They all did great. The owners truly love what they do and you can tell! We were able to check in from time to time to see how the boys were doing.It was good knowing we didn’t have to worry about our pups because they were in the best care possible! We will return!

We did not worry about our 3 year old boxer as we knew she was in great hands with Karen and her husband. They make sure your dog is comfortable, they play with them and let them outside in a gated area. They even play calming music for the anxious pups! If we are up north again we will definitely be coming by! Thank you :) Highly recommend.

We boarded our English bulldog for four nights while we went on a camping trip in the Adirondacks. We were nervous about boarding him at our local spot in Manhattan during Covid-19, and found this place through a good review on Yelp. When we spoke with Karen she explained that they only board 7 dogs at a time, and take care to reduce health risks.Our bulldog had a great time, with lots of one-on-one time to play with the owners and other dogs boarding. Also a plus is that their fees are so much more reasonable than kennels in Manhattan. When we visit the area again we will definitely return to Maple Lawn B&B.

Immaculate boarding facility and amazing space for dogs and humans alike. It is such a relief to know that they are there when we need to leave town. Their dedication and understanding of dog care and their willingness to communicate everything with the owners is evident in all that they do. I am so happy to know them.

Karen and Rich are THE BEST! Our lab Mia had the time of her life playing with the other dogs. The facility is beautiful, clean, and they take great care of all the dogs. We felt so welcome and comforted by how much they cared, Mia couldnt wait to go the second day! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Maple Lawn Bed and Biscut is hands down the best! Rich and Karen are wonderful, the facility is very clean, and the care is top notch. We cannot imagine taking our dog anywhere else. Highly recommended!

Karen and Rich have a great kennel, large cages, a large outdoor run, they only take a small amount of dogs at a time so you know your pet is getting the utmost attention. Kennel is also very clean and modern. We dropped off our Corgis for a couple of days while vacationing in the Adirondacks so we could visit some attractions where dogs are not allowed. Nice people!

My boyfriend and I were going up to Gore Mountain to snowboard this past weekend and last minute, I called the Maple Lawn Bed and Biscuit to see if they could help out with my dog, Angie while I was at the mountain. First of all, I absolutely love the name the owners chose, Bed and Biscuit is both a clever and adorable name. Anyway, upon arriving, I was very pleased to see a beautiful set up with comfortable looking kennels. The owners also put a bed and blanket in my dogs kennel. They are very roomy and in a finished garage with lighting and heat. There is also a door that leads right to a fenced in yard area which is perfect for the dogs to run around. At the bed and Biscuit, they even took extra measures to put meat and gravy in Angies food, which she loves. The owners will treat your dog as if it is there own and they are such lovely people. I would 110% recommended Maple Lawn Bed and Biscuit to anyone who needs a place for their dog because your dog will be safe and happy for sure and with wonderful people. They are definitely dog lovers. I will definitely bring Angie back again next time I’m in the area.

Rich and Karen make a perfect team and work hard to meet the individual needs of each dog that is left in their care. They took such good care of our dog who was so timid and scared to be left with strangers for the very first time. It did not take long for Karen and Rich to figure out how to make friends with him and make him feel safe, secure, and at home. We are so grateful to have found Maple Lawn, Bed and Biscuit. We will definitely be returning every summer if there is room in the inn.

Couldn’t say more positive things about this place. We left our two frenchies here while we went on vacation. We were able to contact them everyday for updates as to how they were doing. Top notch care for your beloveds when vacation calls. The indoor area is clean and the outside play area well maintained. The owners are lovely and I know my furkid is in the very best of hands.

We have been leaving our 3.5-month old puppy at Maple Lawn Bed & Biscuit while we are skiing at Gore Mountain. I cannot say enough good things about the place and the owners. The owners are very accommodating and very caring people that love dogs and take amazing care of our puppy so we can enjoy skiing completely worry-free. I am really glad we found this place and I highly recommend it to all dog owners.

We have had our elderly poodles stay on several occasions. We love the way the owners fuss over our fur babies. We wouldnt go anywhere else.

Karen and Rich run an impeccably clean and comfortable operation for your canine friends. I have struggled to find boarding accommodations for my dog Otis near Indian Lake, and reached out to Maple Lawn initially because of the excellent reviews and it being the closest boarding facility to Indian Lake. It is rare to find such a gem tucked away in what is quite a rural part of upstate NY. Karen and Rich took excellent care of Otis, where he had an opportunity to play and socialize with other dogs in a supervised environment to his hearts content. I have no anxiety leaving Otis in their care and would recommend Maple Lawn to anyone including close friends or family looking to board their pets for any length of stay.

We have had a very positive experience with Maple Lawn Bed & Biscuit. The indoor kennels are large and very clean and the outdoor area is lovely. Great care was taken at our dogs very first experience there as one of our dogs has stranger anxiety and the other has special dietary needs and each of our dogs subsequent visits has been equally outstanding. Our boys always look happy and content when picked up at the end of their stay. Karen and Rich care for them as if they were their own! Highly recommended.

Our pup loved her stay with Karen and Rich! This was the first time we boarded her here, and it certainly exceeded our expectations. The kennel is thoughtfully designed, clean, and cozy. The outdoor area was a good size, and easily accessible from the kennel. Any time you board your dog at a new place it can be a little nerve-wracking, thankfully Karen and Rich were incredibly welcoming and patient with us as well. They spent time with us and encouraged us to help Moxie acclimate to this new place. They also asked us questions and made sure they understood the details that would make Moxies stay better - reassuring us that she would be safe and happy. Picking up Mox at the end of the weekend was just as nice of an experience as dropping her off. So thank you to Karen and Rich! Well be back. 🙂

They took fantastic care of our 17month old pup and communicated daily to let me know how she was doing. Their facility is clean and they truly love the dogs. They were very kind, knowledgeable and trustworthy. I was able to enjoy my vacation and not worry about girl.
