I think my dog likes it here more than being home with us. He LOVESSS it here! As soon as we pull on the road he is whining with excitement! I cannot get him in the front fast enough. Good thing the staff is wonderful and likes him because he is so excited to be here. I bet he drives them nuts and they do not show it at all! I love the photos I get from his day! We did board him for a week during the summer and he looked happy without us. They do offer additional items to add on for the day and we love the eggs and pool! Murphy looks forward to many more days of day care!

I would recommend The Woodlands to anybody looking for boarding or daycare/grooming. Our girl has always been nervous going into the groomer and when I tell you she RUNS into this place. Very affordable for the level of care and we always get pics throughout the day of how she’s doing. She comes home tired and happy every time.

I honestly cant say enough about The Woodlands! Simply the best. We started bringing our anxious dog there for daycare when he was a puppy, and fast forward to today -- hes a confident boy who LOOOOVES going for daycare and boarding (and hes not like that everywhere). He starts whining with excitement when we turn onto the road and cant pull me inside fast enough! Britney, Maryanna, Brandy... they all take such great care of our pup, and it always takes a while to leave because my dog needs to kiss the girls on staff at least 10 times before we go 🥰 He loves it, we love it, and were really grateful to have found a place that treats our dog like family.

The Woodlands is the best. The staff are so nice and they treat my boy Noah like a prince. Weve done daycare and boarding and they always provide me with an email update on how his day is going. He comes home exhausted and happy and is always so excited to come back and see his friends. Super affordable too for the level of care they provide. Cannot recommend this place enough.

One of the highlights in my little Lola’s day.All the new friends she’s made is amazing. For me its knowing shes not only in a safe place but surrounded by staff that care about her as much as I do. Im very picky when it comes to my little girl and I would highly recommend Woodland luxury, pet resort and spa for anyone who’s looking for an overnight stay or just little play date and socializing fun.

My two pups LOVED their stay here! After a terrible boarding experience elsewhere, I was very hesitant to leave my pups anywhere. However after their day at daycare I opened up to the idea after seeing how comfortable they felt. I left them here for a long weekend and in their suite I got to see them on camera, give them treats and even got pictures of them eating their eggs for breakfast. I messaged the owner a question and heard back from him in less than 5 minutes. I felt extremely comfortable with our pups staying here. I can and will highly suggest them to anyone looking to board their pups. Looking forward to using this facility in the future. Keep up the amazing and comforting atmosphere.

I recently boarded my dog at The Woodlands Luxury pet resort for a week, and I couldnt be happier with the experience. The staff was amazing—attentive, caring, and clearly passionate about what they do. The owner was exceptionally nice and accommodating, making sure all of my dogs needs were met. My dog came home happy and well-cared for. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a safe and loving place for their pet!

Woodlands Pet Resort & Spa is a life saver! I have two pups and one is extremely anxious and shy. Penelope struggles when she’s around other people and out of her routine. I’m also a “worrier” so I always feel guilty and concerned when I leave my dogs, Woodlands has put my mind at ease and truly treated Pepper and Penelope with love and great care! Everyone is super nice that works here. Brittany is so friendly and informative. And Penelope has really done well with everyone here which speaks volumes to the kind of folks who work here and care for the dogs. I’m extremely grateful to have found them! They do a fantastic job grooming on their pick up day too! This place also sends daily updates and emails that show how much they really love what they do. I have a difficult time trusting people with my fur babies, but I do trust this place immensely. And the facility and grounds seem really fantastic for the dogs. NO CRATES! The facility has rooms for your beloved dogs, and that is worth so much to me! My only wish would be to be able to drop the dogs off or pick them up during wider hours, but I understand how hard it is for small businesses during this time to staff how they might have before the pandemic. But this place is a true gem! They even went out of their way to care an extra few days for my dogs when I was detained on a biz trip. So helpful! I’ll always happily give them my business! Love it!! Great and friendly atmosphere - very caring staff and they are very knowledgeable. They send pics of your pet, and pricing is reasonable. They have been in business for over 40 years. Keep up the GoOD work. Until the next stay.

My family boarded our dogs at woodlands for a week during vacation, I can say without a doubt this was the best experience we couldve asked for. The team there was phenomenal and got constant updates on our dogs. We will be using woodlands in the future for the best possible experience! The photos dont lie, seeing how much fun they had

I have boarded my dog three or four times at the resort now, for up to 11 days. Any guilt I have about leaving him has disappeared. His days are full with playtime and socialization in the play yards. I arrange for him to have additional walks, and pool passes for swimming can be purchased. Toby receives food treats and has a suite with both indoor and outdoor areas for resting. This last visit he received a great bath and grooming before coming home. The daily emails with pictures from Dan and the staff reassure me that my dog is well cared for, enjoying his time, and too busy to be pining for me. The peace of mind is priceless!

The people are great. It would be nice to be able to walk through the facility vs a video tour. I received the pictures on days when I paid for the premium service but I am not sure if the trailblazer service was actually walking through the woods as pics seemed to be on gravel. My dog did come home happy but was very thirsty for a couple of days and seemed overheated for the first 12 hours. I would return but will mention the temperature and hydration concerns.

Excellent choice for our pup! He was well loved and cared when we boarded him for a week. We chose the luxury lodge accommodations which allowed us to check in on him daily and even dispense treats. The owner, Danny, and the staff, kept us up to date with daily communication and photos. A top-notch facility for our faithful companion. I highly recommend Woodlands Luxury Pet Resort and Spa!!!

The staff and facility are excellent. The drop off and pick up process was simple and the daily updates appreciated. Having an opportunity for our dog to be bathed before pick-up was fantastic. The most important factor and indicator was that our dog Willow was happy when we picked her up. We’ve stayed at other places where she came home dehydrated and upset. We strongly recommend The Woodlands.

Always take my dog here when she needs play date! They don’t have breed restriction and judges the dog base on personality which I really appreciated! We also took our cats here they took amazing care of them! (We do have old cats and they are a little stubborn, but I am very happy with how they took are of our cats especially one of our cats is diabetic) If they have have a house sitting option for cats we will definitely be interested!

We adopted Hazel in November 2020 and all we knew is that she came from down south. After a month we realized Hazel must’ve been severely abused because she was terrified of people besides those in our immediate family. And when she was scared she would become aggressive. We spent a lot of money in working with a trainer, but she was still terrified of people. We thought we would never be ableTo take vacations again because we looked for daycares and boarding but no one would take a chance on Hazel….until we found Woodlands Luxury Pet Resort. We explained to Dan, the owner, about Hazel’s aggression, but we assured him she was such a sweet dog to us. He was the only one who said “yes, we’ll work with Hazel”. Hazel immediately took a liking to staff member Brittany and we were amazed that Hazel went straight to her without hesitating the first time we brought her there! We’ve never seen her do that with a stranger before!! That was only the beginning. The staff at Woodlands were so patient with Hazel and let Hazel take the lead in gaining her trust. It was such a magical process and a year later Hazel is a completely different dog. She is so excited when she goes to Woodlands and has the best time when she is there!! And she even lets them groom her. They must be miracle workers because we never would have imagined she would trust anyone else! We would definitely recommended Woodland Luxury Pet Pet Resort! They take the time to get to know your pet and treat your pet as their family!!!

Harper had so much fun during his stay. He is an anxious boy and kennel stays are hard on him and us. Well he came home so happy and enjoyed all of the activities. The staff were super patient with him as Harper does not like water but they worked their magic and he ended up getting in the pool and was happy about it and made friends! Can’t thank the staff for the great care and attention they gave to our dog!

My little guy Patriot had a wonderful time over the weekend at this wonderful resort! How do I know? Because he returned back home more lovable and happy than before, that has a lot to say about the staff and care here! We got updates every day of how he was doing, even personal letters of him to us ;) really eased my boys since they love their brother Patriot. Highly recommend Woodlands Pet resort, it’s stress free for both the owner and your pet :) thank you to Dan and the entire staff!

I can’t say enough nice things about this place. I would give them 10 stars if I could.My dog Cooper had a bad experience at a doggy day camp a few years back where he was attacked completely unprovoked. This instilled fear within him and unfortunately I had to stop taking him.I recently had moved to the area and was going away abroad for a few days, normally I have someone come to my place and let him out, feed him, etc. I happen to do some research about doggy day camps/boarding in the area and came across this place.From the moment I first called they were all so so incredibly nice, helpful and informative. I explained Coopers situation and they made me feel so comfortable about bringing him there and seeing how he does. Of course I was still hesitant and nervous. Especially since my dog is now a bit older and can be grumpier on some days.I dropped him off for the initial “interview” to see how he interacted with the other dogs. While he was there they actually emailed me over pictures while he was playing and having a great time. When it was time to pick him up they said he did great and he would do great with boarding as well.I boarded him a couple weeks ago for 6 days/5 nights and it was the best decision I’ve made. They once again emailed pictures/updates of how he was doing. I was even able to get access to the camera in the little room he was staying in if I wanted to check in and say hi.I’ve never been able to relax more on a vacation before knowing he was in such great care. I was even able to get him in for a bath the morning before I picked him up. He came home smelling fresh/clean and was so fluffy with a little bandana on. Most importantly he was happy too!I definitely plan to be using the woodlands again in the future. Thank you all again so much for taking such great care of cooper.Highly highly recommend this place!!

Our dog Myla absolutely loved her day at your resort and spa!! 😍 Approaching the door you’re welcomed with calming tranquility music (excellent touch!) and then instantly greeted by a warm and friendly staff. The staff is wonderful and it’s evident that they truly love animals 💕 we will absolutely be back! A+ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

One of the most stressful things about going on vacation is thinking where to leave your pup! We were going away for 2 weeks and was in need of the best overnight boarding we could find. Im coming from Brooklyn and as there are a ton of boarding places around our home, even one we trust leaving him for a few days, we wanted to find the best one possible for him! Sure, The Woodlands isnt close as its almost a 2 hour drive for me, but its a small obstacle to give a family member the vacation they deserve too! We put him up in the Pawsidential Suite where he had his own room at night with a comfortable bed, movies to watch and snacks to eat! We were sent photos every day of Avery eating his breakfast and attending the add-ons that we purchased. The add-ons are more money, but just a few bucks and definitely worth grabbing a few a week so he can get out and maximize his vacation too! Even some of our friends were jealous and wished THEY were staying there haha.The staff was amazing! They were very responsive via email and phone and were a ton of help answering all my questions. It was nice to get Avery out of the city so he can get that fresh air and lots of area to run and play! Ill definitely be returning when we go on our next extended vacation!Thanks again, you definitely helped put all our worries to rest while we were away!

Oakley just had another fantastic stay! We love being able to go away and know that he is well taken care of. The staff is wonderful and I love getting their updates about how he is doing. We wouldnt choose any other place.

This is the best daycare and boarding place for your furry baby. We have 2 yorkipoos and we put them up here at least 3 times a year . They’ve been coming here for 3 years now . There’s no place that I would trust with them other than the staff here. They have so much fun here. The staff is professional , awesome and friendly . The place is clean. The owner Dan is awesome.THIS IS THE ONLY PLACE IN HUDSON VALLEY I WOULD RECOMMEND . I referred a few people and this is the only place they will allow there dogs to stay.

It was very hard to trust my first fur baby with just anyone but then I found Woodlands and I can’t imagine trusting him with anyone but them! They are in constant contact with photos and emails daily! Being able to use the webcam in his room to check in on him and give him treats really put me at ease. The staff was able to tell me specific details about his stay when I picked him up showing me how attentive they were with him. Thank you, thank you, thank you Woodlands!

This place has the friendliest and most knowledgeable staff and we had a truly great experience. I regretfully had to cancel an upcoming reservation for doggy daycare (which was clearly informed as non refundable, and I expected to pay for it) and for boarding due to concern about the virus going around, and not only were they so understanding and accommodating, they didnt charge me for the daycare.Prices are extremely reasonable for the excellent service they provide. Cannot recommend them enough.

The staff were very caring and compassionate to our cat for his extended stay at Woodlands. They stayed in touch with us, sent pictures of our cat and truly loved our cat while we were on vacation. We highly recommend them for cat boarding. I love that they play with, are affectionate with our cat while providing great care.

The people are super friendly, very attentive to my pets needs, and my pup comes home tired out from having fun!

The only place I’ll ever board my dog, Lexi. Every time I take her she jumps out of the car extremely excited to go. I get emails updates every single day she’s there with pictures of her playing with her friends and how her day was. The staff is BEYOND friendly and you can tell they love animals and their job. I love that they do the pool passes and ice cream passes. This place is just amazing and I’ve recommended it to everyone I know that has a pet.

I boarded my pup here 2 years ago for 3 days and when I picked him back up I noticed that he couldn’t wag his tail. I called the boarding facility immediately to ask if something had happened and they stated they didn’t notice anything wrong. I brought him to the vet and his tail ended up being sprained. I was offered no explanation for their negligenceIn response to review reply-I do understand the risk of boarding a pet, which is why contracts are in place. However if something were to happen, such as this incident, I expect it to be communicated to me. As for the group play mentioned, he was not in a large group, he was only with 2 other dogs. I feel it’s safe to assume that anybody would notice if 1 of the 3 dogs was not acting right. He walked into your facility in perfect health and came back to me in noticeable discomfort and pain which led to a same day visit to the vet. I’ve recently had to look for somewhere to board and this experience has led to a negative impact on my decision which is the reason for this review some time later. I thought I was taking him to a top of the line location, paid for the “top quality” room and experience only to find out that there is dishonesty.

My dog and I love Woodland’s Luxury Pet Resort! The staff is very caring and responsible. The grounds are beautiful and they do an excellent job creating a relaxing environment. It is a wonderful place for pets to take a short vacation. One time that we dropped off our dog, he seemed rather nervous. The staff noticed our discomfort and contacted us after an hour to let us know he was doing well. This facility always puts us at ease. This place is the best!

My golden stayed this past week and from the second he entered he loved it. We drove over an hour to send him here. We were very skeptical about leaving him at a pet boarding facility but this place is truly a luxury hotel for dogs. We will bring Leo back on our next vacation. Staff was nice and the ground very clean. I was very happy and so was Leo.

Breed discrimination at its finest!Called in June to set up an appointment for temperament evaluation for my German Shepherds and was told they were not taking new clients until 6Sep and to call back closer. Called back mid-August and again was told they would be taking new clients in September and I would be good to go with scheduling as long as my dogs passed the temperament test. Call today to schedule the temperament test and I am told they are not taking German Shepherds. Dont waste your time calling here for boarding!Edit: In response to the owners reply. No, I informed them of the breeds of my dogs and was told there would be no issue. It was the female employee. I have been communicating with this facility since July about boarding for this trip and just now they suddenly decide to change their policy. Nice try.

Very nice place to board your dog. He gets playtime with other dogs without MY nervous anxiety. Great experience for him. Pictures of his playtime were provided at an additional cost but well worth it.

We Love Woodlands, our dog Buddy is 7 and has been going to Woodlands since he was a pup. The entire staff is professional, and super nice. Danny the owner is a wonderful and caring person..

My pup seems to enjoy her stays here both during doggie daycare and boarding! The owner and staff are super friendly. My dog got a a bath after her last boarding and she has smell great and was so soft! The price was very fair, especially compared to come of the other boarding places we checked out in the area. They have a military discount for boarding which is awesome.Really appreciated that the staff sent nightly email updates and even photos of the Thanksgiving feast! This place really seems to put in the extra effort to make the dogs stay enjoyable!

Being someone who’s taken care of other peoples dogs for almost 10 years has made me even more particular when it comes to who watches my guys. I’ve worked in a few boarding facilities myself & I’m always taking tours if I come across something new. This place by far blows them all out of the water. The Woodlands is actually where we took our family dogs when I was a kid, formerly known as Affordable Grooming, now under new management, family owned & operated, 100’s of acres. This place is just like I remembered it & now even better. Literally dog paradise. Not only is the facility sparkling clean but you can truly see how dedicated the staff members are to meeting every dogs individual needs. My dogs come home happy, I get daily updates & pictures while they’re there & I can honestly say when I do leave them I’m worry free the entire time. Most of my dog training clients use The Woodlands for daycare & they’re all extremely happy so I figured because everyone is always asking me... now you know! This place is it people. My dogs home away from home. I can’t thank you guys enough.

We love Woodlands! Our dog, Cena, has been going for quite some time now and she is always so happy upon drop-off and pick-up! I cant get out of the car fast enough to get her inside. She jumps onto my lap and usually honks the horn from excitement! Our little guy, Otto, just started going recently. He seems to enjoy the pool and staff! We are very comfortable leaving our pups here and know they are in great hands.

This place is hands down the best pet boarding place in orange county area. I been to a few and let me tell you, Dan and Brittany and other lady with glasses that works there (apologies dont remember her name) are so friendly and accomodating They keep you posted via email on your pets status. I get our dog involved in pet activities and youll receive pictures of them in their events or costumes. They treat your dog with much love and respect as if our dogs were their children. My Rottweiler has been going their since he was a puppy ! I wouldn’t trust my dog with anyone else! The woodlands staff are always welcoming and treat my dog like their own! The facility is beautiful, well maintained and clean! Not to mention all the fun my dog has swimming in the pool and playing with other dogs! Travel at ease knowing your pets are in good hands! I also take my dog there for grooming, I’m able to drop him off in the morning and pick him up after work which is a plus!

I chose The Woodlands Luxury etc based on comments of pet owners. My dog Navy loves it!! When he realizes were headed that way, he starts howling and getting excited. Today, I couldnt get his leash on and walk fast enough for him. I just had enough time to open the door or my face would have hit the door. So, if my dog behavior is an indication of the type of place Woodlands Luxury etc is Id say its a great place for your dog. The staff is top notch and very professional. However,you still feel like family. They make you feel that your dog is in very good hands. Dont take my word for it. Try them out for yourself and your pet. Watch. Youll be raving too. LOL

We were a bit nervous boarding Louie for three weeks while we travelled, but The Woodlands made sure we received daily updates and pictures of him enjoying the facilities. The staff clearly pays close attention to each dog and develops relationships with their long-term guests. Even though I always prefer to bring him with me on vacations, I feel great about having Louie stay at Woodlands for my next extended trip.

I have been bringing my dogs there for years! My dogs are regulars for doggie day care. When I pull in the driveway they whine with excitement, and then drag me from the car to the door! When they come home they are happily exhausted. Staff is so pleasant when they greet you, and I love the random pictures they post or email. Oh, and their new suites are gorgeous! I highly recommend.

This is the best resort & daycare for your fur babies. This is the only place our babies will stay. The staff is excellent they treat them with lots of care and love. I know they have a lot of fun and are safe and in the best care . You won’t be disappointed bring your fur baby here . I know you will keep coming back.

Ive been taking my two dogs here for a few years now. We love them theyve always made us feel very comfortable anytime we left them. The staff are also so great and worked with our two boys when other boarding/daycares wouldnt.

Great boarding for dogs and cats. Like the name the rates are reasonable. They have larger outdoor play areas and dogs get at least 2 hours of playtime per day. The dog kennels are large with an indoor and outdoor area with dog door. There are more upscale rooms for the posh pet. They used to have theme days for daycare as well as web cams and photos to watch your fur babies but my last stay didnt seem to have that. They recently completed a major renovation and expansion.

Our dog loves Affordable Grooming! The staff is very kind and they take great care of her during her overnight stays and baths. She also loves the parties. She gets treats, time to play with other dogs, and swims in their pool. Would highly recommend.

My Labrador, Lucy enjoys being at the Woodlands. Everyone that works there is super friendly and very knowledgeable. We are very happy that we found a great place to have Lucy stay. You can’t beat the value. Lucy enjoys being with the other dogs and will be going there again!

My husky goes here and absolutely loves it to no end! The ladies are amazing there and always ensure a great stay. The owner is just the sweetest and always willing to speak to you if there ever was an issue! 10/10 recommend to any and everyone!

We have been taking our dog here since she was a puppy. Amazing people who really care. Putting her in day care has really helped with socialization. Her doggie friends taught her how to swim. She loves her pool time at home now. I can’t recommend this place enough!

We just picked up our dog Finley from a weeks stay at Woodlands..1st time boarding him there & we couldn’t of been happier..the staff was friendly & our Finn was well taken care of..we were very nervous about leaving him but they always reassured us throughout the week with pictures & nightly updates of how our Finn was doing..which made us feel so much better..The Woodlands is Finn’s happy place & we would recommend to anyone. The Woodlands took fantastic care of three of my four dogs while I was displaced for a month waiting for my home to close. They were very understanding when I had to extend their stay at the resort. I will be a returning customer due to their care and friendly nature!

My fiance and I moved to the area and we are getting married in September, needless to say, its been a difficult search to find any open availability for my dog to be boarded when everywhere is booked. My fiance called and spoke with the manager, and they gave us great news that they can fit us in. So grateful they were able to do this for us. Couldnt ask for a better wedding gift. I don’t have words to explain how amazing this place is! We recently lost one of our dogs and had a trip planned. Didn’t even hesitate to bring our other dog to woodlands. Danny and his crew took care of Jax and he interacted with the staff and other dogs!!! I would NEVER send my dogs anywhere else!! This place is exceptional!!!!

This is the only place well board our dog, and we live quite a distance away. He always seems to have a good time, and comes home healthy. We get him a pool pass occasionally. Great communication from the staff.

I started taking my 15 month old puppy Kenji for day care over the summer. I can only say I am super satisfied and extremely happy with the wonderful care and treatment Kenji has gotten each time. The staff is very friendly and they really take the time to answer questions or address any concerns. Although Kenji can’t express how much he likes this place, he does so by his actions..... It always takes me at least 10 minutes to get him in the car when it’s time to leave.I highly recommend Woodlands. It’s comforting to go through my day knowing Kenji is in really good hands and most importantly, he is a happy puppy.

Love this place! It is very clean and spacious and the dogs get free playtime in huge yards. It is a bit back into the woods, but I feel safe because there is no traffic there and it is fenced in! My dog went swimming every day in their dog pond which is a retrievers favorite thing and he was groomed beautifully when he came home, and didnt smell like a wet dog. The Funniest story is that Bear went in shaking his first time and on the way down the lane going home, he jumped out the window and ran back.My dog is a trader. Now he goes to day care 4 days a week and its only $15. All I can say is you have to go check them out, I LOVE LOVE them!!

I have been coming here for 11 years now, and my dogs consider this camp part of their home. They come into the office, and they pull and strain to get into the back to see who is there. I can not imagine a better place to engage with your dogs. My 2 Boxers would come home from daycare and SLEEP!!After I drop them off I put any worry of them out of my mind.

My dog (Jay) loves going to day care at the Woodlands. Staff is very nice and helpful. He loves visiting. Overnights are great to. Staff makes my Jay feel like hes home.

My boy goes once a week for daycare and a good romp with other pups. He is very happy there. Boarding is also great for him. He does not get stressed there, he comes home tired, confident and happy

I had originally given Affordable Pet and Grooming 5 stars. However, all is fine and good till something goes wrong. After coming back from our honeymoon we pick up our dog Hershey. She always is groomed when we take her home but it didn’t seem anyone got around to it. She wasn’t home 2 minutes and I noticed she was chewing her side. She had a huge gash on her side! We took her over to our vet, Flannery’s, and they said she received trauma to her side but didn’t think it was from another animal. We called Affordable and told them about her injury and that she may need surgery. The new owner, the son, did call us back to say he asked around and no one was aware of anything happening. We explained in detail and he asked if he could speak to our vet and we authorized Flannery’s to speak with Affordable. He. Never. Called. He didn’t follow up with us or our vet. Nothing. We completely understand that things happen and you take a risk having someone else care for your animal. However, to completely disregard an incident with an animal that had spent time at their facility on several occasions is just unacceptable. Did not offer to do anything. They are so focused on making it bigger and better that they lost sight on the most important thing- our pets! So, board your pet here with the understanding that if he/she gets hurt, no one will be aware of the situation nor will they care.

I dont believe my dogs got any of the care which was promised and paid for. Just a bunch of BS email updates which were obviously an automatically generated standard marketing gimmick. Our young healthy vibrant dogs were extremely unhappy and downright depressed when we picked them up after a 3- day weekend. I will never return here nor recommend this place. The owner is horrid. She loudly scolds her employees in front of customers, and treats customers as though they work for her. Horrible woman. I feel sorry for the people who work there, including her adult son who is the manager.

If I could give more stars, I would! I boarded my dog (Ino) for the first time this past weekend, and the staff was wonderful! They sent picture updates, answered all my questions without getting annoyed, and went out of the way to help calm my anxiety. When I picked Ino up, she didnt want to leave. Thank you ALL so much!

Love this place. Staff is pleasant, personable and my fur baby is always excited to go. The price is very reasonable, they send pics of my fur baby every time hes there and they take such good care of him.

This place is nothing short of a 5 start resort for pets and is extremely affordable. They also offer on site grooming. Whether weve needed daycare or extended boarding they have always been available. Dan and the whole staff from front desk to the groomers and handlers are extremely professional and knowledgeable when it comes to handling pets AND their owners, Their kennels for overnight are probably nicer than some motels for people. For day care they are not just crated for the day the have secured acres of woods which are all video monitored for them to run and interact with other dogs. They have an awesome water feature pond for the doggos who love to dive and swim, looks like something out of a caribbean resort. They are also extremely knowledgable about how to pair dogs for socialization. During the summer they actually have themed parties like cowboys and pirates, they offer ice cream treats for a fee and truly know how to pamper your dog. They even email throughout the day letting you know how things are going and send PHOTOS!! He is exhausted at the end of the day!!! I cant say enough good things about this facility. We have been to several and this has been our best experience.

Our new favorite place. I just started taking my pup here this year for boarding and both times were worth it. They send you email updates from your pup and have themed parties every week! The staff is super friendly and I trust them with caring for my dog. Highly recommend here for boarding, daycare and grooming!

Always a wonderful experience here for our cat.She gets the best care and attention. Whenever we picked her up she never seems stressed. In fact she seems to want to stay. Highly reccomend the cattery here.

I have been bringing my standard poodle Nemo to Woodlands since he was fourteen weeks old. He is now three, and I cannot say enough about how much I appreciate the care and attention that Nemo receives whenever he goes there.The staff are caring, informed, and attentive to all of the little things that add up to ensure that Nemo receives the best, whether he is there for the day while being groomed, or boarding so that I can get some down time.I highly recommend Woodlands. We have been taking our cocker spaniels here for years. The last few visits have been terrible! For this last appointment we asked to have a different groomer. They stated that they did not like to do that due to one groomer would receive more clients then the other!? We dropped the dogs off at 9am and received a call in the afternoon stating that they would not be ready until 5:45 pm. We arrived at the pick up time and they still were not ready! They asked us to pay and wait in our car, and that they would bring them out to us. They came out with the typical scarf around their neck(this will make sense later). Their face and neck were shaved and their bodies look chopped up and still long with random patches of long hair. We brought them home and the next morning removed the scarf. We were shocked to find that BOTh dogs had some type of clipper burn on their necks! The burn is a bit larger then a quarter. There is also a nic on one of the digs face. Our once happy go lucky dogs were depressed and scared for days after this visit! Never again will I subject my dogs to this place!! And we spent $135.00! BEWARE!!

We take our two boxers there for day care and we loved it so much that we now board then when we go away on vacations. Before affordable, we NEVER boarded our dogs. The staff is terrific and so loving and caring.

Tucked away in a wooded grove, The Woodlands has great facilities for our sweet energetic pup. They always send photos of playtime and are very fairly priced.

Good price and great for social dogs. Outdoor play area for daily recreation. Daily email updates on how your dog is getting along. A little hard to find at the end of the gravel drive but worth the trip

Wonderful place for your pet to stay. They love your dog and take great care of your pet. Its a vacation for my dog and he can socially interact with other dogs.

The Princess pup loves her visits there. Everyone loves the animals and doats on and spoiles them. Lots of playtime and personal attention. Great grooming too!

They really love the dogs there and take real good care of them. However their prices have gone up quite a bit during the past year. Maybe because of the renovations.

Our first time using woodlands pet resort and couldn’t be happier Dan and his staff did a amazing job and couldn’t be happier with our experience. We will be returning for sure.

After spending months researching different places to board my Pyrenees Mix, I came across this beautiful place. Its worth the two hours drive upstate just to know my pup has a wonderful place to run around. Staff were prompt in responding to my emails. This was incredibly helpful. They would also send pictures. Like most other wrote, in the luxury and pawsidential I could watch her during ap time. The only thing I wish would change is the ability to see her at other times besides the two hour window.Will definitely go back again!

We are very happy with the care our dog receives here. From the extra amenities, evening emails, and just how comfortable she seems dropping her off and when she comes home. We love that they spoil our girl as much as we do!
