The River Street Pet Spa

We brought our 2 Toy Poodles and Maltese in for grooming. Sad to say, Claudia Wheeler did the worst grooming job that the Poodles ever had. The dogs had been groomed by our downstate groomer about one month ago and were not at all matted and still had their classic poodle haircuts clearly visible. I gave Claudia precise instructions on how she should groom them. When I returned to pick them up, i was shocked at the terrible job that Claudia did on them. Claudia just shaved off their beautiful coats, completely ignoring my instructions and also did a poor job trimming their nails. Fortunately, their coats will grow back in time and then Ill bring them to a competent groomer, but never to Claudia again!

This groomer was wonderfully warm and my pit bull took to her right away. This was a surprise because he had never been to a groomer before. The word bath normally strikes fear for this giant lap dog. He was happy and smelling lovely; finally... with his black bandana and a little doggie goodie bag. We couldnt be more pleased and will be back and bringing our other large lap dog. THANK YOU RIVER STREET PET SPA!

I brought my dogs there and I got one hair cut and I gave her instructions on what I wanted and now he looks awful. And she told me she can take care credit and it didnt work but then i used my credit card and it didnt work so she lied saying that she cant take cards. And let me remind you that my cards I just used not to long before coming to get my dogs and they worked just fine. I told her dont give my dogs bones because one get motion sickness and she gave him bones. So I am not satisfied with the place.

I took my dog here today and she looks fantastic! The cost was so much lower than other groomers in the area. We will definitely go back for her next grooming.

Excellent! We take our black labs to River Street. They are dropped off and picked up timely, all fresh and clean, they love it. Appreciate the responsiveness scheduling.

I have taken my dogs to her. She seems nice and has done a good job.
