Lake Country Kennel

I took my dog to Lake Country Kennel for a day stay while my family visited Seneca Lake because we wanted to go on some hikes that arent dog friendly. Our dog was happy when I picked him up. The kennel looks well run (good space, checks dog vaccination records, no chaos) and the owners are super nice. I recommend 100%.

An emergency came up, requiring us to find a place for our dog, Rudy, within hours. After ascertaining that he was up-to-date on his shots and medical history, Lake Country was able to take him in and give him excellent care for the next few days. The owner was extremely kind and welcoming and Rudy left a few days later, happy, calm, and having spent a lot of quality time with the other dogs there.

My family and I were planning a week long trip and needed to find a good, decent and reasonable place to watch our dog. I asked around and was told that Lake Country Kennel was an awesome place for him and that they highly recommend them. I gave them a call and even though it was short notice, they were still able to take him in. Our dog is a very active and hyper dog, when we got him back he was calm and relaxed. I honestly never thought that would happen, and they were able to do it. Thank you so much for watching our dog for us. We will be going back.

On our recent vacation to the area, we arranged for our dog to spend a couple of days at Lake Country Kennels so we could do some activities that were not dog friendly. He had a great time playing with other dogs and we got to fully enjoy our trip. The owners were very nice and responsive and we felt confident that our dog was well taken care of. I highly recommend!

Best kennel anywhere! Both Laurie and Clinton are knowledgeable experienced and caring. Our standard poodle goes to stay happily and comes home calm and rested. All the guests have large indoor runs and plenty of room to play outdoors. They get lots of attention throughout the day. Prices are great, too. Who could ask for more?

Just picked up our lab pup who stayed a couple of days. Very nice owners, the kennel is clean and our dog seemed very happy when we picked him up. He will be staying there in April and I know he will be well-taken of.

I dropped my dog off for boarding today and was just blown away by how comfortable and homey it is.the grounds were just lovely. Very clean.The owner was very nice and addressed me and my dog by name right away.im very comfortable having left him there and will definately have him board with them again.its a bit in the middle of nowhere,but totally worth the trip and honestly part of the appeal.

Clinton and Laurie are great people and have a wonderful business. The kennels are so clean. Our German shepherd loves to go there.

Took very good care of our pup for the day. Great place to leave them while you walk the Gorge. Very clean and friendly people at the facility.

Our elderly toy poodles Annie and Nikko are well cared for while we are away. The kennel now has a protected outside pen area, under cover. We dont worry when we leave.

Great experience, dogs were happy and very well taken care of. Great people and easy to work with. Well definitely use their service in the near future.

Our pup Ruger loves going to Lake Country Kennels. They take wonderful care of Ruger when we need to board him.

They took excellent care of Jemma and sent me updates whenever I asked so I knew she was safe and having fun! It made my trip much more enjoyable.

Laurie does a great job. Our beagle has been there several times and is always well taken care of.

Very nice place my dog first time boarding anywhere very nice ppl going back to stay for a week hopeful he not so scared he has separation axitiy and they worked with him to try helping feel at home thanks guys

Beautiful Park! Had a great time. If you are smart you will take the bus to the top and walk down.

Wonderful experience. First time to board the pups and I was extremely nervous but Laurie kept my mind at ease. Went out of her way to let me know the pups were doing well with text updates. They even took a photo with my sweet boy in front of the Christmas tree. Can’t say enough good things about this place, will definitely use in the future.
