Pony Express Kennels

I highly recommend this kennel. Weve taken our dog here for 2+ years and they are the best. Facilities are spotless and the people are ALL outstanding.

Must love dogs!!!! Not only the name of an old Rom-Com, but from what is evident to me, a prerequisite to work at Pony Express Kennels. Regina and her staff are the real deal. We were worried about leaving Shiloh, our high-energy Beagle / Jack Russell mix, with strangers, but after dropping her off and picking her up only one time, we knew she was in excellent hands.They went above and beyond our expectations. The next time we dropped her off, she was so happy to be there she was barking and jumping around before we even let her out of the car. After a full 8 hours with them, she just slept for about 2 days straight. We have decided to drop her off, not only when we need a sitter, but when we want her to have some interaction with other very friendly animals.If you were cautious about leaving your fur baby with strangers, do yourself a favor and give Pony Express Kennels a try, trust me, you wont be disappointed.

My husband and myself and our dog love Pony Express Kennels and their whole staff! Our dog knows when hes going there and he gets so excited, he just loves it there. He gets to play with other dogs which he loves and he loves Regina and Gary and the rest of the staff! They treat all the animals wonderful just like they are their own. We never have to worry about him while hes there which puts our mind at ease! I have nothing but good things to say about them and I always highly recommend them to people who need a high quality boarding place for their furry loved ones! I been so busy I forgot to write my review. Were do I start . I brought my two babies Sadie Jean and Jethro Gibs to stay for 9 days I was scared and sad that I was leaving my babies behind. Everyone there reassured me they will do great. Still I was so worried about them . I think I waited two days before I called . And it was a big relief knowing they was loving it and doing great. When we came back to get them they was happy and look good. As we were saying our goodbyes. My little Sadie Jean ran back over to the lady and had to say goodbye to her. That made me feel good that Sadie Jean really was comfortable there. Thank you so much for taking good care of them. We will always come back.The VanNoy Family

They did such job with our Corgi. They were kind to her as she is quite timid and fearful. It was the first time she didnt tremble after her grooming. So happy that our girl had a good experience! Thank you Pony Express! 👍

Have nothing but amazing words for this kennel and the groomer (PawSitive Grooming)! They are both very friendly, caring of our dogs and great to work with. The groomer spent several hours grooming our farm dog and went way above and beyond to do so!

Pat was an absolute sweetheart. She was so kind, understanding, and generous. She helped me to get my cat cleaned up from mats and clipped her nails. She did a great job handling my kitty and was easy to get along with.

My two GSD pups, Ellie and Kane stayed at Pony Express back in February. I realized I never followed up with a review. Regina was amazing and communicated so well, even prior to my pups arrival. She is very knowledgeable and took such good care of them. Regina showed me around the facility and I was pleased with the cleanliness. Regina’s employees were busily cleaning and maintaining the kennels. Ellie and Kane were at Pony Express for 10-11 days and I was given daily videos and pictures. They got lots of exercise and attention. I had no worries or concerns and I look forward to bringing them back again and again. Also, Regina offers grooming and that was such a welcome bonus...I brought then home looking and smelling amazing! Thank you Regina and staff!!

I made an appointment for boarding a week and a half ago. The girl on the phone told me only the dogs needed rabies shots and bordatella vaccine. The cats, nothing. Today I drove out 20 miles to get there, and was informed the cats and dogs all needed rabies and distemper shots!! My car was packed for vacation, and I had to cancel all my plans. I am appalled by that level of incompetence!

We were VERY pleased with Regina and Pony Express Kennels! Our 9 year old Blue Tick Beagle Boone had never been kenneled prior to our visit - so we were offered a chance to come tour and visit and leave him there for an hour prior to us leaving him for a long weekend. It was nice to have that “test run”.While we were away, Regina posted photos and videos of Boone that gave us great piece of mind that he was happy and being well taken care of. They received cooked chicken during meal times to ensure they ate.I’d recommend Pony Express Kennels to anyone looking to kennel their dog. A+ experience!

Id be more then happy to recommend Pony Express Kennels. My little girl Athena loves going here for doggy daycare and boarding. Very nice and helpful staff along with great prices, and seems if need to its a all in one stop. Grooming and doggy daycare. 10/10 recommend

My dog Brady spent a weekend at Pony Express Kennels and I would not hesitate to trust him to the great staff there again. Regina and Gary took time to get to know us before his stay and allowed him to spend a day in day care to familiarize himself with the facility and other dogs. During his stay they uploaded photos of him on Facebook so I could see the fun he was having, and before bringing him home I opted to have him groomed. I picked up a very happy, clean, and soft dog. I highly recommend this 5 star establishment.

They all take great care of my chocolate lab. Ive been there twice, and will keep going back. While Im away, I check Facebook and there are usually pictures of my boy playing with the other dogs, which helps me relax! Not only are they great with my dog, but they take the time to ask how I am and get to know me. Great people and a great place to take your pets!

They treated our Labs like they were family. I love how they spend time with each animal. Daily updates and pictures of your pets was greatly appreciated. If we ever run into the situation where we have to board our dogs again we will return. Thank you for a great first experience.

Our dog goes to full time daycare at Pony Express and absolutely loves it! When I pull in, he practically takes the back door off trying to get out of the car. They not only care FOR him, they care ABOUT him and each day I get a report on how he did, who he played with, how he ate, etc. They have alerted me to potential health issues much faster than I would have noticed. I can work with confidence each day because my beloved pup is so well taken care of. I dont know what we would do without Pony Express Kennels!

They did an amazing job with My pup rascal. Even if he weights 110 pounds they gave him his bath, clipped his nails, and blow dried him and he smelled amazing.When I went to pick him up he was one happy boy and loved all the attention he had gotten.Thank you again for making my boy shine

A kennel that I wanted to take my dogs to was full so they suggested this one instead. This wasn’t my dogs first time in a kennel. I left my dogs there for a few days while on vacation and was a little nervous to leave them because the place upon first look was pretty dirty. But, there were so many good reviews that I gave them a chance. Well, I returned to get my two dogs and found that they were absolutely filthy. They had apparently soiled their bed, which no one had removed. They just let them continue to lay in it, and they were so overfed when they came back. My larger dog also had a small cut on his nose which was tender to the touch. I’m not impressed. When I returned home with them I had to bathe them twice, throw away their bed and clean my car out from the smell. I’ll never take them here again.

They take great care of pets and put up with overly protected pet parents. Well maintained and organized. The staff is friendly.

Pony Express came highly recommend to by Stray Haven and I was not disappointed. They made sure my little guys were well taken care of, medication given without issues and fed even when I misjudged the amount of food for them. I give them a 2 thumbs up. The woman that did my Chihuahuas and pitbulls nails was wonderful. Highly recommend for grooming. As a kennel tho..... I have NEVER seen dogs outside playing and it seems like they are in their kennel all day with only a cement area to walk. Wont leave my fur banies there but grooming was great

Great people. Wonderful place. They have gone out of their way with helping my dog. He goes to doggy daycare and has anxieties as well as suppression anxiety. I cannot say enough good about this place. I recommend them highly.

Regina, Gary, Pat and staff treat our dogs like family. There is nothing like seeing your dogs tail wagging when she arrived at the kennel because she is so happy to be there.

First time we used this kennel. The staff was very friendly and cares alot for animals. Hours of operation are good for people who work later in the day. Would highly recommend this kennel.

I’ve taken my dogs here for grooming and staff are always very friendly!!! Kennels are always very clean and you can really tell that all the staff truly love the animals and have their best interest in mind!!

Very nice staff. Clean facility. A nice place to leave your pet. Our young cat was there for 7 days and he was well cared for. I would certainly leave my pet there again.

We left our two baby girls there for a week while on vacation.They were well taken care of.They treated them with lots of TLC.I would recommend them .They even offer bathing before coming home for a reasonable fee.

Staff is knowledgeable, treated my 2 beagles great, and posted pics and videos while we were gone. They did a good job.

We brought our dog here for about four days we get her back and was only then informed that she was attacked by another dog instead of calling us when it happened, they also did not take her to her actual vet like they are supposed to, did not give us any of the paper work from the vet, and her flee collar was broken which looks bitten (and she plays very rough but has never broken it) she has a huge bite mark along with tiny bite mark some in the areas the vet didn’t shave the area around the marks are covered in glue. And along with that I wouldn’t be as mad if something had happened where somehow the dog broke in or something or if they didn’t know the dog was aggressive but not only did they know that the dog didn’t like other dogs they had my dogs gate wide open when they told us the gates stay closed all the time.

We have kenneled our dogs at pony Express for many years. Red is our 5th German shepherd to stay there. As much as we hate to leave him we know he receives the best care and love. Regina,Gary and all the staff are great. We are lucky to have a cess to this facility. Thank you Pony Express

Weve used Pony Express for day drop-in as well as longer-term (2-3 nights) stays, and I cant recommend it enough. The staff is amazing, the facilities are great and our dog loves it there!
