Eagle Hill Pet Care

My husband called them on a Monday for a quote, he decided to go with their services and they never called him back. Called all week for anyone to call me back, no one did. So I stopped in, on my way home, on a Thursday before I needed the service for the weekend and they told me they couldnt help me until at least Tuesday because of the very busy weekend with graduation. Its the beginning of August....... anyway took my number said they would call my husband after 4pm. We found a different Kennel that took our dog immediately, no phone tag necessary.

My wife and I decided to board our two dogs while we went on our vacation last year. We made this decision because we didnt want to bother family members. Once again we turned to Eagle Hill Pet Care for there outstanding service and the care given to our boys. My wife and I will continue to use Eagle Hill Pet Care for there services.

I have been bringing my pups here for years. Originally recommended by a friend who also brought her dog there for years. My pups have always been well taken care of at Eagle Hill. Every visit has been a positive experience. The staff have always been upfront, honest, and accomodating. They are very pleasant the more you get to know them. I definitely appreciate the care they give my pups and me. There was a time I had to leave town quickly for a family emergency. They understood and took my pups right in, not knowing when I would be returning. I returned a few weeks later to find my canine companions in tip-top shape and happy as can be. I usually drop them off there 4-5 times a year, for 3-7 days at a time. It is a piece of mind knowing that they are in good hands and i dont have to worry about tbem. We have been bringing our 10 year old GSD to Eagle Hill for the past year. Sasha is always happy to go in and is just as happy on pickup. The owners are strict on vaccinations and shots, as they should be. The first time we brought her, she was missing 1 shot and the owners helped us set up a same day appointment with our vet so that we could still make it to our vacation on time. Very helpful, very kind. 💯 recommend

I have been boarding my high-energy Australian Shepherd with Eagle Hill Pet Care for over a year now, and whether you are looking to board your dog for a few days or a few weeks, I cannot recommend them enough.Hamish and Allisons level of care for the dogs is unparalleled compared to all other dog boarding facilities Ive been to in my dogs nine years. Their facilities are clean, their prices are fair, and they are very attentive to each dogs unique needs. I really appreciate that they offer dedicated play time for high-energy dogs like mine. My dog would also leave a glowing 5 star review if he could!

We boarded our two dogs for a three night stay at Eagle Hill. I am beyond happy with this place - the dogs were calm and happy when I picked them up, tails wagging like crazy. It was obvious they were very well cared for while we were away!! The owners, Alison and Hamish, were both warm and welcoming. Their facility is bright, modern, and very clean. Rates for boarding were very reasonable, and for a very small extra fee they exercise and play with the dogs as well. I will not hesitate in the future to bring the dogs back - its so reassuring to know theres such a great place to bring them should we need to go away!

Been taking our pets here for years. We board both our dogs and one of our dogs is super nervous and stressed when away from home. They take special care and find a quieter area to board our pups. Every time we have picked our pups up they are super clean and happy!!! I highly recommend using Eagle Hill for boarding your pets!!!

I can’t recommend this place enough, they’re amazing. Our dog Beauty had been boarded at a couple of different places over the years, and was generally anxious to leave as quickly as possible, almost agitated. I used to think that was just a normal response from wanting to get back home after being in a place without her people. That thought process - everything really - changed after we found Eagle Hill. The owners there truly care deeply about every dog, and go above and beyond to make sure the animals feel comfortable, safe, and loved. Each time Beauty stayed at Eagle Hill, when we picked her up, she came out to us calmly, tail wagging, happy to see us but not freaking out like she had at other kennels. She even made a point of going to Allison and Hamish for some extra pets to say goodbye before we left! I’d never seen her so at ease in a place outside of home. Beauty stayed with them several times in summer of 2022 and it was such a relief to know they were taking amazing care of her and that she felt good there.Sadly, we had to say goodbye to Beauty at the end of December 2022, so we won’t be able to return to Eagle Hill with her - but with any future canine companions, I will absolutely be bringing my business to them. Thank you for the love and care you gave to Beauty!

Highly recommend.Our dog has stayed at Eagle Hill 3 times, and we have had a great experience every time. The facility seems clean and well-organized for indoor and outdoor time. The added playtime is a bonus and affordable! Had to extend our pickup by a day because of travel changes and they were happy to keep her another day. Our pup seems happy and to enjoy Hamish and Allison!

I am so happy my friends told me about eagle Hill boarding. Im always nervous leaving my German shepherd. They made me feel at ease and she had a great stay. I will be boarding her there again and recommending them.

Our Adeline was a guest at Eagle Hill for six-weeks recently. We were hesitant to leave her with anyone for so long and wanted to find just the right setting where she would be loved, safe and happy. Eagle Hill met and exceeded our expectations. Upon our return, Adeline was happy, clean (nails trimmed) and looked great! She has transitioned back home well with no issues as if we were only gone for the weekend. Can’t thank Hamish and Alison enough for their quality care!

We have been taking our dog for years. Always go above and beyond for our pet, keeping him comfortable and happy while we are away. There’s no better feeling than not having to worry about your pet while you are away. Would highly recommend.

This review is long overdue; Eagle Hill has gone above and beyond for my dogs and I on many occasions; including last minute reservations and taking my dogs during the hardest time in my life. Allison and Hamish run an excellent business! The cost, facilities, and most importantly the service to pets (and their owners) is exceptional. They are very accommodating (extended and emergency stays) and clearly spend time getting to know their “guests.” If there were any issues (and in my case, extremely rare), they gave me a heads up before I took my dog Listo home. I will be moving from the area, but it has crossed multiple times if I could coordinate my travel in order to drop my dog off here on my way out…. That’s how positive I am about Eagle Hill!

The owners are in a toxic relationship. You may see them be profane and awful towards one another, and they may turn it against you, the customer. I recommend pursuing better options.

I am so thrilled to have found Eagle Hill Pet Care. My chihuahua Romeo can be very skiddish around new people. We needed to leave him for a week when driving for a vacation in Florida. Hamish and Alison were not only personable and friendly but they treated Romeo with so much care and concern. I called to check in on him during the week and left anxiety medicine. They informed me that he didn’t need it and he was eating his food and interacting well with them when they had play time. When I arrived for pickup I saw Hamish holding Romeo and I could tell they had bonded. I highly recommend Eagle Hill and will use their services again!

I have been taking my dogs here for years. The dogs are always excited when I drop them off and when I pick them up they are always happy and clean. Hamish and Alison do a great job! I recently got my dogs groomed here as well and both turned out fantastic. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to take your dogs.

First time boarding my 3 yr old dog anywhere that wasnt family. 6 days. My dog can be a nervous eater but he felt comfortable enough to eat his meals. That speaks volumes to me. I would board him here again.

Our dogs are so happy to see Hamish and Alison when we go away. We asked too late for our dogs to go this past weekend. And even though we took our 2 dogs to a loving place, they were nervous the whole weekend. They just love Eagle Hill!

The kind folks at Eagle Hill watched over my cat Zahra while I was out of town last week. They were super friendly and the prices were very fair, with only a small upcharge for dedicated playtime each day. I also appreciate that they honored a last-minute request to extend her stay for a few extra days after the original booking. If your furry friend needs a place to stay while youre on vacation, I would gladly recommend Eagle Hill, and will look to them first for any future boarding needs.

After being boarded there for a week my healthy active dog was returned to me semi lethargic and with a bad case of kennel cough. She was also filthy, despite being told by the owner that she would be bathed and groomed prior to pickup.The owner lied to me when I dropped off my dog and questioned the illness. She said their vet had tested everything and there was no kennel cough, just a cold that a small handful of dogs had gotten a month earlier. After I asked her if she was sure it wasnt kennel cough, she made me sign a handwritten note on the boarding agreement that said I have discussed the situation with the owner or something like that. I cant believe signed that - I felt like she added that in to reassure me when in fact she was just covering her dishonest actions.Before anyone jumps to conclusions: my dog was vaccinated. The local vet has had numerous calls about this kennels outbreak from their patients... I wish I had called them first, but by the time I was at the kennel dropping off my dog I was basically forced to make an on the spot decision in front of the owner, based on her information.Im hoping this place either goes out of business or at least learns it cant use our pets like this for profit. Its cruel to remain open when there is an outbreak, and its terrible that they lie to their customers.

We have been bringing our dogs to Eagle Hill for nearly 13 years. I can’t imagine having to leave my dogs with anyone other than them! Our dogs are happy to when we drop them off and happy when we pick them up!

We love Eagle Hill Pet Care for Boarding our dogs. Its the next best thing to leaving them with our friends. The building is strong and safe and they make sure our pets are safe and sound. Thats the most important thing to me.

This is THE place to use if you have to kennel a pet. They are the kindest people with an amazing work ethic and truly care about your pet while you are away. We would never use anyone else. And I dont trust anyone easily with the care of our dog!

Before boarding our very healthy and vaccinated dogs, the owner said that there had been a mild cold going around that affected 5 or so out of over 700 dogs theyd boarded this summer. I said, ok, cancel the reservation, I dont want our animals getting kennel cough. Her precise words were that they had a vet look into it and it was not kennel cough, as only a rare number of dogs had gotten it, who had been vaccinated, and those dogs quickly cleared up with antibiotics.Folks. Im here to tell you that it IS kennel cough. Apparently the vaccine is hardly effective. The vet can do cultures to accurately confirm it is bordatella, so any claim that they have had a vet look into it to dispel worries it is a pure lie.Dont bring your dogs here! They need to shut down for an adequate time to sanitize their facility. Until then, your dogs will get very sick.This is outrageous and I am terribly upset. I see now why this business deals in cash only. Very dishonest.

I really have nothing but good things to say about this business. From the moment you make a call to reserve a spot, you can tell this is a friendly , customer driven business.We never worry while we are away if our dog is being taken care of. We will continue to use their services and highly recommend them for anyone who needs to board their pet.

Ive been bringing my 2yr old lab here now each time I need to travel. They have been great with my dog. Hes always excited when I drop him off. And Ive had no issues when Ive picked him up.

Great place! Ive brought my dog a few times and he always seemed well taken care of, the owners are flexible and accommodating, they clearly care about all the animals, I would highly recommend.

They watched my cat while I was away for 6 weeks. My cat felt very comfortable with them and the prices were reasonable. I will definitely be using them again in the future.

I took my two dogs Bailey and Bianca for one night stay they loved it they came out clean no smell on them I am very very happy the place is immaculate and the people that own it really care care for the dogs like there own. Bailey and Bianca will be back .

We had to board our two small puppies (1yr old and 10 mos old) for the first time ever and it was for 16 days!!! That’s a long time, we almost canceled our plans do to the heart wrenching decision. But we found Eagle Hill and the reviews were excellent, 2 vets we used said they were great so we did it. Alison & her husband Hamish were wonderful, we came home to 2 very happy pups, not only happy and excited to see us, but also jumped all over Alison & Hamish. They were very well taken care of. We will be using them again (for shorter stays) and highly recommend them. These pups are the loves of our lives. They are family and Alison and Hamish understand that. ❤️

Eagle Hill Pet Care have been caring for our dog, Ringo, for nearly 10 years. Prior to that, they were a trusted boarding facility for several relatives and friends. Its hard leaving our dog behind when we travel, but Eagle Hill have always taken great care of him. Ringo returns to us happy, healthy, and clean, and allegedly having been a very good boy. You can tell they care about the animals, and their facilities are always kept in spotless condition. Now in his older age he takes medication, and that was not a problem. We enjoy traveling, and feel very fortunate to have affordable, trustworthy, and highly professional carers for our dog when were away.

Boarded my dog for a weekend. I dropped off an extremely energetic very happy yet somewhat hard to handle 1 year old pup. I picked up an extremely lethargic, filthy, and quiet dog. He was not himself at all. It seemed as if he was sedated or something. Come to find out he was extremely dehydrated. It was the middle of summer and a very hot weekend. Im not sure they gave him any water at all. He came home and went straight to his water bowl. I looked at his gums and found them completely pale. He slurped down 5 bowls of water and then slept it off. He was back to himself the next morning, thank God!! But never again will I go there. I would also never recommend them to anyone else. I even called to check on him in the middle of the weekend to see how he was doing and they seemed annoyed with me calling. I was told I dont need to call, they had my number and would call me with any problems. Completely disappointed.

I dont normally write reviews but pet owners should be made aware of the risk of boarding here. We boarded both dogs and cats with them over a 2 year period. To make a long story short, we lost an entire vacation $$$ due to booking here and relying on their service and the owners lack of awareness of what kennel cough looks like. Even my vet verified it was handled poorly. I hoped to make amends given our 2 year history but instead during my conversation with the owner learned that despite the outbreak they are not making boarders aware until drop off! Nor were they contacting the owners of dogs that boarded with the sick dogs.Also to consider : you cannot see where the dogs are kept and they do come back smelly so we always bathed them on their return. The dogs are ignored unless you pay for play time or when they are fed. cats are kept in small crates in a front room but there is one window.
