We lucked out finding Diane and Frank! Our puppy’s temperament is so calm and sweet. When we left with our puppy, we were given helpful tips to get our puppy acclimated to her new home. And when I had a question, I reached out to Diane and she responded immediately and knowledgeably. We are so pleased and grateful!

We recently adopted the cutest, sweetest, bundle of fluff - he has the kindest disposition and has settled in so well into our home. I found Bella Bernedoodles during an internet search and filled out the comprehensive questionnaire. Within hours, Diane called and we had a wonderful conversation. We went to visit the available puppies and fell in love. The environment they are raised in is clean and lovely. We brought him home that day, and he has adjusted so well and so quickly. When we took him to the vet for his checkup (which was perfect), everyone commented how well he was socialized. All in all, I have had nothing but a wonderful experience and look forward to many happy years with our new family member. Thank you!

I recently got my new puppy from Diane, and I couldnt be happier with the entire experience! You can tell that the breeder puts a lot of effort into ensuring the puppies are well-socialized and healthy before they go to their forever homes. The vet records and vaccinations were all up-to-date, and the puppy came home with clear directions and the backing of a breeder and staff that are there to answer any questions and offer suggestions, which was a lovely touch.I would highly recommend Diane to anyone looking for a responsible, ethical, and caring dog breeder. I was looking for a puppy for my 7 year old and based on all my research, a bernedoodle looked to be the right fit. When I found Bella BerneDoodles, I saw they had pups I had never heard of - entledoodles, and I was instantly intrigued. I contacted Diane and after listening to what I was looking for and answering all my questions, I knew I wanted an entledoodle for my child. The process was seamless and Rosie is now the newest member of our family. Thank you Diane for our sweet pup. She is so amazing and we love her so much!!!

I had the absolute best experience with Diane from Bella Bernedoodles! When I arrived to pick up my puppy I could see the love she had for each and every dog she has! Diane kept me well informed from the time I put my deposit down to when I could pick up my little girl. 100% would recommend to ANYBODY. We purchased our f1b mini bernedoodle from Diane 2 months ago. We were on the waitlist for about 6 months. During the whole process she was very honest with us and told us she lets nature take its course and could not guarantee when the next litter would be. She was always quick to respond when we emailed her to check in. Once she had a litter, she emailed us weekly with pictures and an update. She feels it is important to match a puppys personality with what its prospective owner is looking for in a dog. We are very happy with our decision to purchase our puppy from her. She is a perfect match for our family! We would definitely recommend Diane to anyone looking for a mini bernedoodle!

I first contacted Diane after seeing her Facebook page. I had lost my Bichon of 16 years and needed a new companion. I heard great things about the Bernadoodle so I contacted het because she was only an hour from me. It was July of 2019 and I immediately sent a deposit. It clearly stated it was non-refundable and I was OK with that. Whoever is complaining about that should read more. I also knew I wasnt going to get a puppy immediately. Nature takes time. I missed out on the December litter and February. Again, she kept me in the loop the whole time. I wanted a standard female and was willing to wait. Finally, on April 7, 2020, my baby girl was born. I picked her up May 30th and she is perfect. Diane came through with everything she promised and I couldnt be happier. Quality is worth waiting for, so Im not sure why the bad reviews! My husband and I wanted to get a second dog because a) we love dogs and b) we wanted to give our mini golden doodle a sister. The process of getting our bernadoodle pup was seamless thanks to Diane. Stella is the perfect edition to our family. We are so happy!

Well over a year ago, I did a lot of research about mini Bernedoodles and breeders before I put a deposit down to get on the wait list for a puppy from Bella Bernedoodles. This included tapping into others in the Bernedoodles community and people who are breeders. My main concern was not to inadvertently buy a puppy that came from a puppy mill which is often the case either through pet shops or through online services that act as agents for breeders. I also wanted a breeder that is within a reasonable driving distance, not requiring taking a plane, where I could personally check out the kennels and the puppies before committing to the purchase.From the get-go, going back to December 2018, Diane has been a pleasure to deal with and most sincere. At the time, I wanted a puppy for Spring 2019 and although Diane told me that might be possible, she was very clear up front about it really being up to Mother Nature to make that happen. I sent in my deposit to at least get on a wait list for whenever this might happen. I had discovered in my earlier research that it is not uncommon for people engaging with a breeder, to wait over a year for a mini Bernedoodle puppy and as long as 2 years, depending on the color one wants. Diane also made it clear that she was not inclined to have the females artificially inseminated. So I went into this knowing the stakes. Plus it was reasonable to expect that there were other people who placed deposits ahead of me such that I might not get the pup I want anyway in the timing I was seeking.Because I had my heart set on getting a tri-color pup, and there were none in this litter born in October, Diane was flexible about applying my deposit to any future litter where there might be a tri-color pup. However, when I saw the photos she sent me and considered the timing, I couldnt resist an adorable male bi-color pup. She was very open about my coming to the kennels to see the litter first hand and to check out the kennels before I made payment in full. But as it turned out, the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays with family made coordination of the trip impossible. Diane continued to send me photographs.Ivan was well kept and has the sweetest, easygoing disposition. Diane was gracious and a pleasure to finally meet in person after all the conversations we have had. Plus we had a chance to walk around. The weather was very mild and all the dogs were outside in their open runs .As to some of the comments in the reviews:I had not seen any complaints against Bella Bernedoodles with the Better Business Bureau or the Oswego SPCA as I had researched that myself before sending in my deposit. I have a feeling that there is confusion over complaints that applied to a previous breeder at that location, (not Diane), at what was called South Side Dogs/Farms, who was convicted of a felony having to do with animal abuse. There werent even any Bernedoodles involved in that business which was shut down several years ago. This is a well covered story, easily found on the Internet, if anyone cares to know about it. With regard to non-refundable deposits, it is common practice for reputable breeders not to refund them. Diane has the non-refundable statement very clearly indicated on the Bella Bernedoodles website just as she does about the need to be patient about waiting to get a pup. Who can predict? I for one am glad I was patient because I came home with a little treasure. Thank you Diane!

Diane is a kind, personable, and wonderful person to work with when looking for a bernedoodle. My family and i were informed through the whole process with Diane answering all of our questions/concerns. She makes it apparent that nature takes time and the puppies are born when the time comes. Our boy Walter is now around 3 months old and he has been a blessing. He is an F1b Bernedoodle who is loving, quite goofy and so much fun to be around. The farm where we picked up Walter. is in the beautiful mountain region of upstate New York and was not difficult to navigate to. If you are looking for puppy in the New England region i would definitely recommend Diane!

We had a delightful experience with Diane and Bella Bernedoodles! Diane is a very conscientious breeder, making sure that nothing about the process is rushed. After the puppies were born, she regularly sent photos and news of their progress. We enjoyed driving through the beautiful countryside to pick up, Annie Mae and were warmly welcomed by Diane and a lovely puppy. Annie Mae has been home for two weeks and we already love her dearly! Quality breeder, quality pup! Our highest recommendation for any future owners.

Do not use if you are on a time frame. I was looking in early March for a puppy to bring home in early July. I was pushed and promised if I left a deposit ASAP Id be second on the list for a female for a litter being born in April. April came and went and no messages came in. When I called again in mid may they said in 2 weeks another litter would be born.. 2 weeks came and went and no puppy for me. I was being pushed and promised (once again) for a puppy in the litter that would be born in june and going home at the end of August (which was not an option for me and I made that known from the beginning). I was basically told thats my problem not theirs. I am a teacher and needed all summer to train and bond with before going back to work Sept 1st....again I made this known. I believe bella berniedoodles takes on more then they can handle. When i was asking who the mom and dad of certain litters were the answers were unclear and some of the dogs being mated are not on the website. I never got any paper work. I would not recommend using this breeder, they are not very professional.

Purchased our Entledoodle from Diane and couldnt be happier. She was great to deal with, answered any and all questions we had and let us come out and see the puppies before we made a decision...although once we saw him, we knew he was coming home with us. Diane even checked in after the first week just to see how things were going. Definitely a pleasure to deal with and really cares.

We picked up our puppy Rossie last December so we are approaching our one year anniversary! While we did have to wait awhile (sent our deposit in Feb 2019), Diane was always responsive and when she called in November 2019 to say an F1b litter was born, we were delighted to accept one of the puppies. I loved the fact Diane was very against artificial insemination and let Mother Nature dictate when the magic would happen. We couldn’t be happier with Rossie and we are constantly receiving compliments when we’re out on walks with him. He’s a true teddy bear and I’m so glad we found Bella Bernedoodles!!! I would recommend Diane to anyone :) her dogs are truly top class and Rossie is a true example of excellent breeding - his temperament is fantastic and he is just the best dog we ever could have asked for!!

Love, love, loved working with Diane! This was my first time purchasing/ owning a dog and she made the experience amazing! Diane frequently sent pictures of the litter/puppy once born, answered all emails and calls and was very informative. She even stays in contact with you after you go home with your pup! I would definitely recommend purchasing a bernedoodle puppy from Bella Bernedoodles. The facility where the dogs/puppies are kept seemed cleaned and cared-for. 100% happy with my decision to buy from here! Love my sweet and spunky puppy, Baci!!

We have been so impressed with Diane and Bella Bernedoodles and we are very thankful that we found such a wonderful breeder. Diane was always informative and sent us pictures every week, so that we could track our puppy’s progress. We absolutely adore our puppy and had such a great experience picking her up at the gorgeous farm where Bella Bernedoodles is located. We have had our puppy for two weeks and she is doing very well, is loving and precious, and we couldn’t be happier. Highly recommend this fantastic breeder!

I can not say enough about my positive experience with Bella Bernadoodles. My family and I decided that we wanted a bernadoodle about this time last year. I researched online and found Bella Bernadoodles. From day one, Diane has been very transparent about the process and told me that they are expecting a litter within the next year. She said that nature needed to take its course with timing and that she could not confrim and exact time frame which I understood. I put a deposit down in Jan and the puppies were born in October. Once the puppies were born Diane sent us pictures regualy to keep us posted. We picked up our male bernadoodle this weekend and are absolutley head over heels in love. He is absolutley the most beautiful and sweetess puppy that we have ever had. The way that he is bonding with our young children after two days is remarkable. I could not be happier and would recommend Bella Bernadoodles to anyone. Thanks Diane!

Brought home my tri-color mini bernedoodle Murphy on Christmas Eve and could not be happier. Diane was very transparent throughout the entire process and answered many many questions I had as I was bringing the puppy home to my 1 1/2 year old Labradoodle. Clean bill of health from the vet the following week and tons of joy has followed every day since. Best decision I ever made and only wish I did it sooner! Thank you Diane

Updates of 5/3/20:I finally received my deposit of $250.00 on 4/27/21; it took over 1 month to receive it since my first email of 3/24/21 requesting it. In my opinion, the $250.00 that was placed with Diane on May 5, 2020 and held for over 1 year should not have taken over a month and 3 emails to finally receive. In addition, the deposit should not be considered “non-refundable.” It can, and apparently does, take an unspecified amount of time which could be well over one year to adopt a puppy. There should be a level a trust that comes with a breeder who charges $3,500.00 or more for a puppy and should not require a “non-refundable “ deposit. The deposit should be refundable at any time throughout the process and be reimbursed within a reasonable time of within 7-10 days when requested.I placed a deposit of $250.00 with Diane nearly one year ago May of 2020. I was told she would probably have a litter in the fall of 2020 for the type of puppy we were looking for. The one year mark is approaching and still no puppies on the horizon. I have emailed Diane 3 times now asking for my $250.00 deposit to be returned. She replied to the first email saying “yes, it’s been a long time,” however, has not refunded me as of the writing of this review. I have emailed two more times and have gotten no reply. Diane is unresponsive, unreliable and distrustful. DO NOT send this breeder your hard earned money.Lucy A.

We got our puppy two months ago and we are so in love with him! He is friendly, smart, energetic, and playful. He loves to cuddle and will always make you smile! Bella BerneDoodles is a reliable breeder that has healthy and family friendly puppies.

Firstly I would like to say that so far my experience has not been good. I have been waiting nearly a year, the puppies were supposed to be born already and every time I email her she said they were either in the birthing stage or nature takes it’s course. I have not yet asked for a refund but as many comments say that seems like a waste of my time considering she does not answer once asking for a refund. She has already stopped picking up phone calls. I put a deposit down for not one but two puppies and I seem as if I am going to be out of luck and scammed. I hope that is not the case but as of right now she doesn’t return calls and rarely answer emails and even then they are vague emails with little information. When I first put the deposit down she seems so helpful and now that she has the money it seems she has completely changed and is very unreliable and untrusting. Very sad situation.

I lost my dog of 16years and was so sad.Someone recommended Diane to me.After several talks I purchased a bernedoodle puppy.Diane was very informative about the breed and I got a beautiful and gentle puppy I named Nova.I work a lot of hours and decided Nova needed a friend so again I turned to Diane and she told me all about this young engledoodle pup.Again I received a healthy beautiful puppy with such a gentle and friendly nature.I would recommend anyone to Diane who wanted a healthy loving dog and could trust her judgement and caring about the dods

Beware, we paid a deposit in February and was told we were in for a spring litter. After months of attempted communications we asked for a return on our deposit as it was obvious there were no puppies coming. We just received an email asking us to sign a “release” in order to get our deposit back. We are notifying others, but I would not send these people any money.9/30 update, still buyer beware, check online sources for reviews and BBB, you will see numerous reports and complaints. Unfortunately appears they routinely pocket deposits, I guess it’s a source of revenue they need.BTW, even though they replied they have returned deposit, fact is, they have not.

Diane was so understanding and patient when I thought I might have an issue. I would highly recommend this breeder. My Enteldoodle is smart and highly motivated to learn.

SCAM!!! Please dont give them your money. Sent a deposit but after no word for several months we did some further research on the farm. It seems they have been scamming people for years. Never got our deposit back from Diane.They dont even deserve 1 star but this was the only way we could make the post.

I highly recommend Bella BerneDoodles. The owner, Diane, offered regular updates and pictures on our happy, healthy puppy. Worth the wait!

I sent a deposit eight months ahead of time to secure pick of the litter for my grandkids .everytime I called I was told we had to wait for Mother Nature.ayear passed she told me if I sent her a letter requesting my deposit she would send back my deposit.after that she stopped taking my calls. I had to go to my credit card co.and after several months they got me my money back she isrunning a scam

We waited close to 6 months for our puppy, but she was worth the wait! What a wonderful, smart, beautiful Mini Bernadoodle!

Even though the timing did not work out for us, Diane was easy to work with and had good communication throughout the process.

We recently got a mini bernedoodle from their recent litter (Rory). Its been 2 weeks and our family loves this guy. Great temperament, smart and all around good doggo.Diane was also very professional and you can tell the dogs were raised in a positive environment.

Update from post a few months ago. My wife got a call today, offering/promising a return of our refund (we’ve heard that before!) if we would take down our post. My wife said to keep the money, just hope others don’t get scammed. Sad situation, they are obviously ripping people off for deposits. I also reported to BBB, suggest others to do the same.

Do not put a deposit down! I put a deposit down last November and was promised a spring puppy. There were still no puppies or even a pregnancy in August so I asked for a refund which was promised and never sent.Update: My deposit was refunded after I posted this review. Since I was told that Mother Nature is unpredictable, I would recommend waiting for confirmation of an actual litter before sending any deposits.

We paid a deposit in December for a puppy that was supposed to be here around June. There was no puppy around June, so Diane refunded our deposit. Thank you.
