I left my dog in Anastasia’s care because I could not get him crate trained. He was there for a few days and was completely crate trained and also was trained to go to “place” . He was exposed to other dogs and had a good time playing with them. I highly recommend Anastasia!
I would never recommend Anastasias Acres to anyone as she proved to be unsuited to her profession and quite evasive in her manner.Upon arrival, I cant say that we were very impressed with the overall cleanliness and appearance of the place, in fact I saw what was either a rat or an enormous mouse outside in her garden.Additionally, she met us at her door with a naked baby on her hip, and her small children were in the room when we handed over our dog.I would not call any of that professional. We brought our 3.5 year old corgi to be boarded while we were out of town on business. We let her know that he did not have much experience with other dogs. While we were away, my wife checked in with her to see how our dog was doing. She told us he was fine, if a bit overconfident. When we picked him up, it was clear he was not himself and was very withdrawn. The next morning when I looked at him I noticed he had a large blood spot in one of his eyes.My wife asked Anastasia if she knew anything about this and she said that our 30 lb corgi was acting in an aggressive manner with a great Dane that he was put in with for group play. What kind of person puts a great Dane with a corgi??She said that she gave him a verbal command and that he then growled at her.I finally dragged it out of her via text message that she swung a slip lead at him that she had in her hand.Clearly, she struck him in the face and injured his eye with it.If she would use what was basically a whip against a small dog, what might she do with a big dog?Im not saying that she intentionally hit him in the face with it, but that is the opposite of what I would expect from a professional. My opinion is that she is in the wrong business.Other operators of animal related businesses were appalled by what happened when I relayed the story to them.Lastly, I would have had a little bit of respect for her if she had been upfront about what happened, but she was anything but upfront. If you love your pet, stay far away.
I have friends that not only board their dogs with Anastasia, but also have her train the dogs. I have heard nothing but phenomenal feedback from them. If I am ever in the market for any type of service, I will surely go to Anastasia.
If I could give more than 5 stars, I absolutely would! Anastasia is amazing, between the text updates she would also send us pictures and keep us posted on Akiras progress. Akira is not an easy trusting dog with strangers but she built a trusting bond with Anastasia and her family. All the times weve been all the pups there are having a great time, running around and wagging their tails. We couldnt be more thankful for finding the perfect place where our sweet girl is taken care of. The big fluff ball is smiling and having a ball with all different dogs.
She works closely with the rescue I foster through and helped us with our foster pup! She is able to read dogs so well and give you the best tips and tricks on training. Truly saw a difference in just 1 shorter session!! Would highly recommend :)
Have had amazing experiences with Anastasia and her family. I recommend them to everyone and will absolutely continue to take my dog here. She has a ton of fun and Anastasia is incredibly helpful in shaping your dogs behavior.
Anastasia is simply the best! My dog loves staying there, and I always have peace of mind knowing she is in great hands. There is so much space to run and play and you can tell that Anastasia truly cares about the dogs. She is so knowledgeable and has a very calm demeanor. I can’t recommend Anastasia’s acres enough!
I cant say enough about Anastasia !! Kopeck has been with her from 6 weeks old in day care , we recently had her do obedience training at 7 months old. We now have the best dog ever !!She is the BEST! Training has been such a great experience and her knowledge is unsurpassed.
Great experience. Very knowledgeable. Lots of great information to help me work with my dog.
Koda loves her stays at Anastasia’s Acres. She’s enjoys playing with the other dogs. A great environment for the dogs.
They are awesome and my dog absolutely adores her. Her pickup / drop off service is exactly what I needed
I work for a local rescue, and we take lots of our pups to Anastasia for training, day care, and boarding! She is a literal dog whisperer, and has helped us get some of our toughest rescues ready for adoption! She’s also given me so much knowledge to help both my personal dogs and other dogs at our center. When you take a dog to Anastasia for training, it is not just the dog that is learning, but you as an owner/handler gain valuable tools and insight to be able to maintain the work she does, and continue to grow with your canine companion! All of our dogs get SO excited when they see us pull up to her property! She builds relationships with every dog she meets, and they always look forward to time with her! Daycare dogs come home happy, fulfilled, and tired from a day of both structure and playtime.I highly recommend her for all of your training, daycare and boarding needs!Thank you, Anastasia and family!
I cant recommend Anastasia enough! I have been looking for a place that was open and more free for my dog instead of having him in a kennel all day. Anastasias property is wonderful and its so great that the dogs get outdoor time in a great backyard. My dog is very high energy and the day after he does daycare he is POOPED. And sleeps the whole day. You can tell that Anastasia and her family truly care about dogs and it is a wonderful feeling to know youll pick up your dog and they had a great day. We will be booking both daycare and longer stays in the future. Highly recommend!
