Carms Dog House - Baldwinsville

My two boys have the BEST time at daycare… honestly since having our son the beginning of this may 2023 it’s been such a relief being able to have them go to daycare to get some extra energy out even if it’s not all the time it helps SO much keeping them calm and relaxed at home because they get so tuckered out there… I really do feel like they’re being taken care of and loved while they’re there we haven’t tried a full grooming yet but I LOOOVE that they trimmed their nails included with daycare :) their prices are really great and the best I’ve seen so far same with boarding although we haven’t tried it YET… the staff is so friendly and so welcoming and they definitely help you feel comfortable when leaving your pets with themOverall 10/10 :)

I can’t share how great our first experience was with Carms in Baldwinsville; our girl Stormy just spent a week there and it was her first time away from us. The staff was amazing and called us with any concerns they had during her stay there. I loved the daily pictures were a great reassurance to our family too! We already booked her next stay there too! Highly recommend!!

You can always get an appointment quickly which is the best thing. You cannot fully bathe and groom a doodle well in 90 minutes but you can be the most expensive poor groom in town

Carm’s is the premier pet care facility in the CNY area. Always reasonably priced with outstanding customer service and perfect grooming options. I trust Carm’s with my fur baby implicitly. My dog is always well cared for, happy and they always have tons of wonderful pictures and stories to share. I would without hesitation recommend Carm’s to anyone.

I take my corgi for routine bath, nail cut, hair cut, etc. We have also used the service when they come to your house with their own van and groom your dog right in the driveway! Both services have been incredible and my dog always looks so dapper after he is done! He is a beast with getting his nails cut and they always do such a good job with that, too :)

We boarded our Bernese Lily and what a great experience! The staff is friendly, the location is very clean and boarding drop off and pick up very smooth. We opted for complete grooming package (including dremel of nails) and when we picked her up, she looked beautiful! The groomer had cut the fur between her nails and her fur looked fantastic, she looked like she was ready to enter the Westminster Dog Show!!

My dog Bernie had a great time here! The staff was wonderful and answered all my questions! I kept calling like a crazy dog mom but they didnt seem to mind at all and encouraged me to call to check up on him as much as possible! The second time Bernie went in he greeted the employees like they were his family...cant tell you how happy that made me! They truly treat the dogs wonderfully here! I definitely recommend

Brought our dog here for boarding as we were going out of town and it’s close to our home. At first it seemed like our dog was having a great time - until we picked her up on Tuesday.She was literally saturated and sticky with urine. From nose tip to tail. Not only that, she’s been coughing and hacking like crazy. We were not notified that kennel cough was going around until I went on Facebook today and they’ve made a post about it. Would be AWESOME if they personally notified people who’ve boarded their dogs there.Don’t bring your dogs here, based on photos and experience, it is far too crowded for any dog to be taken care of. We’ll find someone else in the future so we don’t get stuck with ginormous vet bills.

Ive had nothing but great experiences at Carms. From daycare to grooming to just the overall excellent customer service. The staff are very professional and knowledgeable when it comes to their products and types of dog food they sell. Carm and his team will go out of their way to make sure all your needs are met and you have a great experience. I recommend all of my family and friends to come here or their Cicero location. 5 stars.

Ive brought my pup to carms since weve gotten him, and have never had a issue, and now we got a new puppy, and brought her there, now they had 2 groomers on, weve been plowing all day and night, and instead of just canceling the apt. And taking money out of CARMS pocket we asked them if they could get them done qt the same time due to us being exhausted and haven to plow tonight. 4 hours late and my new pup was done and the other pup had only been bathed and nailed done. ridiculous!!! They have just lost a loyal customer due to there ignorance! Thanks for nothing carms!Also 35 for a bath an nail trim for out american bully. And then 65 for a bath and hair cut and nail trim, when we put him in day care with the haircut its 56 bucks explain that to me.Any good groomers/ boarder (daycare) let me know.

I have three rescues and they love going to Carm’s! All I have to say is “Doggy Daycare” and the boys jump right into the car. My Scottie, Finn, also gets groomed there, and I always love his cut. Great place and very reasonable prices.

I brought my small dog there for the free one day trial for doggy day care. I had taken him to Canines unleashed before which he loved, but I was trying this one because it was closer to home. I was very disappointed in the size of the room, VERY small. There is no furniture, beds, toys or anything. It was like a tiny little prison with nothing to do. At Canines unleashed you can look in on the dogs through video on your phone. I was watching my dog always running around, having so much fun, jumping on furniture, playing with toys and other dogs, running in and outside at will. Plus there was always a person in the room with the dogs. Carm’s doesn’t have a camera, nor is there a person in the room with the dogs. If I could’ve gone back and gotten him right after I dropped him off, I would have but I had to go to work. The whole day I felt so terrible for him stuck in that tiny room I could not wait to get him out of there. I can’t imagine what the small dogs do all day stuck in that tiny room with no toys, furniture, beds or anything. The big dog area might be totally different but I would definitely NOT recommend the small dog daycare.

Dont EVER bring your dogs here! I used to work here and the abuse that goes on with not only the dogs but the employees is HORRIBLE! Nothing is ever cleaned properly and they are always over crowded. The room for the littles is so small that its really only big enough for maybe 6 dogs and one day they had 17 crammed in there. So many fights break out and they dont do anything about it! If you love your babies you WONT bring them here! EVER! Their lives are in their hands and they dont even care.

My dog came down with Kennel cough at the beginning of June from the Cicero location while attending doggie daycare. We boarded him at the B’ville location last week and he again came down with severe kennel cough (choking and coughing up foam) shortly after. I called today to ask to speak to Carms, but apparently he does not take phone calls. The girl who took my call was not friendly, and you could tell that she did not care one bit . Not to mention, when I picked my dog up from boarding at the B’ville dog House, he smelled terrible and was very dirty.

I would 100% recommend Carm’s Bville! My dog Bailey loves going there and we know when she’s boarded that she’s probably having more fun there than with us. They love her like their own and even give her cuddles, which she lives for! We love Carm’s!

First time visit with my senior Terrier. I wanted a bath, shampoo, grooming and nails trimmed. Very well done. Staff was very nice. We will return.

Carms is great! I have a 1.5 year old cavapoo who is still very playful and excited about everything. He can be a little crazy and was even blacklisted from PetSmart because he doesnt like to get his legs/paws groomed and can be fussy. However, the women at Carms have never had a problem with him. He always looks flawlessly adorable after his grooming sessions, but above all the staff at Carms is outstanding. Theyre all very personal, friendly, and service oriented to us customers as well as our furry clients. I highly recommend Carms for grooming services.

Fluff loves to come and spend the day. She has a great time, and I appreciate being able to come on short notice.

My furbaby absolutely loves daycare and boarding. They are so good to my dog and always take pictures of him when we are away.

They took great care of my pup when I couldnt take her on vacation with me! Worry free/stress free for me, fun for my pup (at least as fun as being boarded can be).

Friendly staff, excellent groomers. They are especially good with my very fragile 16 yr old senior dog.

We swear by Carms..it is a blessing to us..they love our 118 Lb weirmarimer like we do..if they cant take him we wont go! Great grooming and daycare too...! Exceptional!

My dog, Emmit, LOVES coming here! As soon as he sees where we are going (while in the car) he gets excited! They treat him as if he was their own pup. I had to board him for a week and it was great knowing he could play in the daycare area. The greatest thing is the daily photos posted on their Facebook where you can get a sense of your pups day!I would 10/10 recommend you send your pup for daycare and/or boarding. We haven’t been groomed here but I imagine the experience would be just as satisfying.Edit: 3/15/21They were always good to my dog, I would encourage dog parents to assess their dog behavior to see if this type of dog facility is best for their dog. The big dogs are in a large room with many dogs for the time they are there with what I feel is little discipline. This can over time be anxiety producing and cause unwanted behaviors as dogs are just being dogs and acting in the pack/hierarchy mentality.

Do not bring your dog here. I worked at that location couple years ago and they do not train their employees. The manager Chelsea does not listen to anyone but herself. I had a dog their that was a very aggressive to be in a daycare, she did not care and did not do anything aboit it. The responsibility was on me and dogs ended up attacking eachother and getting hurt. Make the right choice and look the other way, this is a horrible establishment.

Fast and friendly nail service for my dog.

I brought my small dog here cause it it was close to home. It is obvious the questions they asked at drop off that small dogs are not there area of expertise. I requested eye cleaning and they agreed and then could not do it. Also waited for a call back for when she would be done but no call, had to go back to carms to no when she would be done. Very disappointed
