It’s the best option for the area, but some people don’t clean up after there dogs and some of the people are not the nicest. But when you get a good group it’s a good time.

Mamakating Park has a great dog park. Dogs must be leashed when entering and exiting the park, but theyll have plenty of room to run around. The entire dog area is fenced off. Theres an area to the left for big dogs and another separate park to the right for smaller dogs. The park is on the east side of the park. If youre coming from Bloomingburg, its the first entrance on your left. If youre coming from Wurtsboro, its the second entrance to your right. Since its located within mamakating park, theres a bathroom as well as places for children to play if you bring any along.

DECENT PARK WITH TWO OFF-LESH AREAS. The large dog area is on a slope and would not be good in the rain. Very secluded and quiet facility - there are other amenities for the kids in the same area. One very nice soccer field!

Nice big dog run set off to the left has two sections, one for the little dogs and one for the big dogs. Well maintained with doggy bag stations and garbage bags. There are benches for people to sit on. People are very respectful of one another and how the dogs behave. Good sunsets too! Muddy in the winter.

Cute little area for your dogs to run free and have a fun time getting excess energy out. Only downfall is despite the signs for each area (small dogs only/ Large and all dogs welcome in other area) no one follows the only small dogs in the smaller park area making it harder for small dogs to have time. I have multiple dogs and have to wait for the small pen just about every time i go. The longest wait was almost an hour..

Two fenced in areas. Both are good sized, especially the one for larger dogs. Lots of room to run! Friendly dogs, conscientious owners. There’s a trail nearby too.

We used to like to take our 4 year old APBT To this dog park. We no longer take him to this park because there are people who bring there aggressive dogs then blame our super friendly pup because hes a Pitbull. But there have been numerous accasions when where I would be holding my dog by the collar to separate him from the over all situation and the other dog is doing leaps around myself trying to attack my dog, there was another accasion when there was a group of people with all related German Shepherd who attacked him in a pack mentality. This is not a safe park for your dogs and if theyre power breeds they will be blamed, regardless of their behavior or temperament.

Walked friends dog with him, people were nice, dogs can be a bit aggressive with each other. Just be aware and careful with your four legged friends

Went on a winter weekend day, had two bulldogs come barreling in the side for larger dogs and attack me and my 30 lb hound pup. They had me on the ground. I couldn’t even get out. Won’t ever come again.
