Camillus Hills Golden Pet

Brought my boy Nitro in for a wash and cut. First one. :) He didnt let the stylist do everything she wanted but she did a fantastic job. If Pet Smart had not muzzled him maybe they would have been able to cut him as well. 🤔 Golden Pet you rock!!!!

This place is hurting for staff, which has made their hours more difficult over the years to make use of, but the owners are very nice and the prices are great. My dog has a blast every time she comes, and she always gets excited when she sees were on the way there. The staff that are there are also nice, and I always hope one day they might go back to their old hours so I could use it more often, but its still 5 stars in the meantime!

My dog, Jersey, is a regular guest - either for daycare or boarding and he LOVES it! He barely says goodbye to me because he’s so excited to be there. And when he comes home, he’s definitely had sufficient exercise to be exhausted. The staff is always friendly and professional. Highly recommend! 🐶😊

Our dog always looks fantastic after her grooming with Dawn. Im so glad to have found a groomer whos consistent and really knows how to groom the giant breed coats.

We travel from Cicero monthly to have our dogs groomed by Debbie and the Golden Pet workers. We have traveled past many, many grooming places just to have the Golden Pet handle our pets. We have never found a more loving crew to care for our animals. Our current dogs (Buddy & Precious) have been cared for by the Golden Pet their entire life 6 years and our previous pup Jake for 11 years. We would not go anywhere else. Our dog, Jake even has a picture on the wall, he really liked Debbie.

Our dogs have gone to Camillus Hills Golden Pet twice now for a week plus stay both times, and we have been nothing but overly satisfied with our experience here. Our dogs seem to enjoy themselves here as well! 5 stars for sure!

Took our Standard Poodle there and wrote down down the specifics that we wanted done because of a previous issue with a previous grooming. The dog was there for 6 hours and the same snappy half done trimmed feet and under side that we specifically asked for. The owner was already gone and the girl at the desk didn’t offer even an apology and just stood there with a blank stare. The owner who groomed the dog (Debbie) called ranting and raving making derogatory comments to us. After she calmed down and stopped yelling agreed to take the dog back the next morning to finish the grooming. Upon arrival the owner continued to yell ranting grabbed the dogs leash and took the dog in back very angry and rude! We have known the owner for years and if you do half a grooming you shouldn’t charge $118. After this an the owner who is an elderly man fell on her steps which she witnessed hitting his head out in front of her shop which he was bleeding. None of the staff even came out to make sure he was ok and the dog could have gotten away from him when he fell. NEVER EVER go here! God knows how she treats the animals behind closed doors. If you can’t take constructive criticism or do a half job you shouldn’t be in Business. To treat people like a ranting raving nut! Good luck you won’t be around long treating people you know like this.

My dog went on tuesday for grooming and has since developed kennel cough.The owners were aware of this on thursday and failed to contact me.My daughters dog and sons dog have now been exposed.Although the kennel took the steps to sanitize the area upon finding out , I was never notified of the outbreak.

My mom had been bringing her dog to Golden Pet for a long time for grooming. They recently turned her away because her dog is getting very old, so I agreed to help her bath her dog (I own a doggy daycare and grooming shop in Rochester, NY). Not only was I shocked that they refused to help my mom at least bath her dog, but when I went to trim her nails I saw that they hadnt been done in a very long time. My mom takes her dog every two months for a full groom, which theoretically includes a nail trim. Her dogs nails were curling under so badly they were digging into the pads of her paws. This is DISGUSTING and NEGLIGANT. Find a good, certified groomer who knows what theyre doing - dont trust these groomers to get the job done at all.

The staff were loving and attentive to my dog. She loves going there! I feel so lucky to have found this place.

I get my goldendoodle groomed there once a month so he is alot of work!my groomer is maryellen and she treats my dog as if he was hers.i also just started using them to board my dog he has boarded 2 times the last time for 6 days and they are great.everyone who works their loves dogs and all animals if you want to lay your trust of your pet in someones hands I highly recommend camillus hills golden pet❤

Nightmare of a place to go to, very rude and uncaring towards both owner and dog. The business itself is also very poorly operated and dogs leave looking traumatized.

They killed me dog. Got a call telling me they found my dog dead in the morning. Probably locked her up 23 hours out of the day traumatizing her. Would not ever consider going near that dog prison ever again.

My 15 year-old dog, Pixie, has been impossible to groom over the years; quite a few groomers have outright refused to deal with her attitude. I brought her today to Golden Pet and the wonderful groomers not only did a magnificent job but my dog left happy and spunky. It was a miracle! The establishment itself is welcoming, quaint, friendly and homey and my dog will most certainly be returning.

We have been taking our German Shepherd there for 10 years. We board her there for 3-7 days at a time, several times a year. She is so loved by the staff! They genuinely care about Charlotte!!!! We feel very comfortable leaving her at Camillus Hills, we know she is in great hands.

Nice people, good groomers, fair prices

Take my 45lb dog there every 6 weeks for a full allergen shampoo with nail trim. They are great.

Golden pet has watched my dogs a few times now. Each time I picked my dogs up, they seemed happy and energetic. The staff here is always friendly and accommodating.
