I reached out to Doggy Be Good last minute as I was in a pinch for someone to watch our pup for a couple of days. They were very responsive, flexible and accommodating and were available to take my pup. They have an outdoor run for each dog where they can have some outdoor time on nice days. They took good care of my pup and Ill use them again if we need a sitter.

Doggy Be Good is the best place to leave your dog! Doggy Be Good is professional, extremely clean and efficient. Mike and his team are so helpful on informing everything you need to know about the stay of your dog! Clever took great care of the dogs and made sure they were safe.I highly recommend Doggy Be Good!

This company is very unprofessional. They lost a dog at the hands of two senior workers and trying to put the blame on a new comer (that was only there for two days ) . They are using this person as the scape goat to make them not look bad, instead of just taking responsibility and accountability. Furthermore, the person they are trying to use as blame helped search for the dog for 8+ hours in a vehicle , which was done out of the kindness of their own heart . Very unprofessional and distasteful.

This place treats their customers and workers amazing, worked here for the summer and i gained a new family. they treat the dogs like family as well, i loved playing with the dogs and making new memories. the dogs are always cared for so are the people :)

My wife and I have been bringing our dogs to Doggy Be Good for years. Each time is a completely outstanding experience, our pups are always happy to go and spend time there. Recently, Mike has taken on some new staff, he goes out of his way to hire locally. I think its commendable that Mike works to introduce younger people into a segment of the animal care industry. These kids might very well be the next trainer, tech or vet in the neighborhood.The facility is always clean, well maintained and Ive never seen a single thing that made me feel hesitant or apprehensive to leave my own pets there or suggest this business to a friend. If youre looking for a great trainer, groomer or a place to board your pup give Doggy Be Good a look, there are places out there that should give you concern, this however is definitely not one of them. I wish I could give them 10 stars!

They really are good people who would work night and day for the well being of your animal. Had a very overview of the whole business would say everyone currently there is as professional as it gets, watching how the dogs being cared for in the kennels was a very nice experience to witness, further more there’s still lots of things that have room to grow and improve in the place itself but I’d say when it comes to trusting a place with your pets and how professionally they handle dogs I’d pick this place as your first stop.

Hello everyone I wanted everyone to know that this place is the most HORRIBLE PLACE TO BRING YOURS DOGS HERE first of all the dogs are outside almost all day getting the sun fully on them when I came to pick up my dog HE WAS LITERALLY ALMOST BURN AND HAVE SOMEWHAT BURN SKIN THIS PLACE IS NOT GOOD TO BRING YOUR DOG IF YOU WANT THEM TO GET HEATSTROKE ALSO THE DOGS ARE ALL SMELLY WITH THE AMOUNT OF URINE ON THEM AND WET POOP ON THEM UNPROFESSIONAL I WILL NEVER BRING MY DOG HERE.😡😡😡 DOGGY BE GOOD MORE LIKE DOGGY BE BAD.

If I could give this place 1000 stars I would. So professional! I love their communication and the way they love on my Poppa while we’re away. I suffer from separation anxiety when I’m away from him but i can always call and check on him and they will make sure Before i hang up I’m at ease. I highly recommend 10/10

Always the friendliest place to leave our furry pup! We leave our jalapeño there with an easy mind, he loves the staff as much as we do and they cater to his dietary needs. Would give 10 stars if I could!

This place is amazing! My German Shepherd loved her week long stay here. It is very well staffed with personable caregivers that are experts at handling dogs. They are very organized and give a lot of personal attention to the dogs. They groomed my dog right before I picked her up. She came home happy, clean, and tired. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who needs a friendly, active, and safe place for their dog. The only con is that it’s not closer to my place in Brooklyn but it was a fairly easy drive and close to the BQE. I will certainly be taking my pup back :)

This is my third time bringing my dog to this place. I was so happy with the service and the great personnel specially with the gentleman was taking care of baby dog (grooming)Today Michael the owner said that I have to pay $106.00 for a small dog with 16 pound.From day one I brought him here I was told the price for a small dog is $90.00 this was about in May or June 2022 when I bring him for the first time and less than 6 months he raised the price up to $106.. This is my last time bringing my dog in here the fact of the lies from this place sad because the service is great but don’t abuse with the prices. Michael keep your customers happy NOT unhappy.

Every experience I have had here at Doggy Be Good has been wonderful. I bring my foster dog Reina here for boarding every time I take a trip out of town, and she always comes home in tip top shape! Michael is extremely professional and knowledgeable, this gentleman will go above and beyond for his clients and their pets. His team is always kind and friendly, Reina is always happy to see them! I am proud to tell people that the boarding facility I use is Doggy Be Good and I will continue to always recommend them for years to come. The care and compassion they have for the animals that come through their doors is beautiful. (Not to mention you won’t find a better rate somewhere else!!!) Thank you all for everything you do!!

I brought my 2 dogs to Doggy Be Good for a grooming and was very very pleased with the results. My dogs were beautifully washed and trimmed, and their nails were manicured, ears were very clean. They smelled absolutely wonderful. They were extremely playful when I picked them up showing me that they were well taken care of. Owners were very nice and personable. They showed much attention to my dogs. And also gave them a treat. My dogs were very comfortable with them and I had no problem leaving them. I will be back for their grooming and hospitality...Very recommended!!.

I had to travel for over a month and was really worried about where to leave my 2 Cane Corsos. Mike and the team over at Doggy be good where amazing. I just picked up my dogs and you can tell that they where treated so good and in a loving environment. I recommend them to anyone who is picky as to where and with who they leave their dogs these guys are truly professional at what they do. Love the fact that each dog has its own space to play and sleep. We are so happy with them will be using their services again. @vichingocorsos

We just picked up our fur baby Trooper after her 2nd stay at Doggy Be Good this summer. First visit was for 2 weeks and this one was for 1 week. Both times she looked very happy at pick up and we are sure she had a fantastic time! I want to add that she was here during the bad rain storm and the owner took excellent care of the dogs in such a crazy storm. I’m sure Trooper will be happy to come back soon. Doggy be Good should be Doggy be GREAT. Never seen my pup so happy to get his spa day/grooming done. From the friendly staff, to the expert groomer and the more than accommodating & friendly owner/operator, Mike, there is nowhere better. Mike genuinely cares for the well being of all the dogs at his facility and always goes above and beyond.

Always a great experience for my 2 pitbulls that are my family and my cane Corso. I have been bringing my dogs here for years and no concerns because the owner knows what he is doing! His staff know what they are doing. The staff love my pets as I do. My dogs are happy there even though they miss “their kids” lol. The dogs are never gross or mistreated. The staff has given me updates about my dogs because they are active in the day to day operations and know how to run a Good Business. Customer service is 5 star. Proof is in the pudding go by and see for yourself. It’s in a good neighborhood in Queens not in some sketchy hood area. This should speak for itself. The prices are more than fair and you know you will come back to a happy and healthy pet. My wife found the boarder years ago and it’s professional. For anyone in NYC they I am sure have experienced a bad business this is wonderful business that will be around because of the quality. Thank you from me my wife and kids and the dogs are cooking out after being cared for by the staff here. Any negative reviews I would NOT believe. Again look for yourself ask questions and you will see what I mean.

Michael was recommended to us through a friend. We couldnt be happier with his input and guidance with our new puppy. He is clearly dedicated to these dogs and his clients. He is always available for consult, and always returns our calls, Hr knows these animals and gave us the tools to correct unwanted behavior. Michael tells you how it is, he is a no nonsense trainer. I just started boarding my dog with Doggy Be Good this place is AMAZING! Mike and the staff immediately greeted me and my dog and made us feel happy and welcome I could tell my dog was excited to be there. Upon my return from my vacation my dog was clearly happy and excited and didn’t want to leave. We utilized the grooming service as well and my dog looked and smelled amazing. I would give this place ten stars if I could!

Never like to put our dog in a kennel, but when we must we would never consider any other place. Michael the owner and his staff are absolutely phenomenal with the dogs they board. Everybody is polite, professional and their love for dogs shines thru. Excellent kennel

So Id like to start with saying TERRIBLE.I have 4 dogs all diff shapes & sizes.Grooming- is 12mins (they splash your dog w water)then have the nerve to return the dog damp.So they can stink again, & ultimately returnfor more grooming.Boarding- I boarded my dog here, left him with 15 days of foodfor a 10 day stay & did not recieve anything back.Also the dog was returned to me malnourished.The dogs are dealt with by 12 year old volunteers with minimal to no adult supervision.the owner mike likes to talk a big onetells you what you want to hear , okays & yes you to death.say they know how to deal with all dog temper casesthey treat all dogsthis is a lieas your dog will receive no physical contact, treatment or play

Unfortunately, I do NOT recommend Doggy Be Good. I really wanted to like this facility due to their spacious kennels, however my experience was terrible. When I picked up my two dogs, after a five night stay, they were soaked in urine. It was dripping off of them as well as dried in their fur, and they reeked, which is clearly unacceptable conditions for any dog to be in. I have boarded my dogs numerous times at other facilities and they have never come home even smelling of urine. I was also not informed of this prior to pick up, where at the very least I would’ve been able to pay for them to have baths. Instead I was forced to put them into my car and walk them through my house in that condition. It was so bad I asked the employee at pickup if they had just gotten a bath and not been dried, due to the fact they were both soaked. After getting closer and realizing it was urine, the employee was unapologetic and did not offer any remedy to the problem. I’d highly advise boarding your dogs anywhere else.

My dogs were butchered. The choppy haircut that was given looked horrible. We spent 205 dollars for two dogs that weren’t even bathed. It’s a ghetto spot, in the backyard of someone’s house. Do not recommend. Run the other way. They take dogs without vaccines, unsafe. Do not take your dogs here!

Training...I rescued a boxer and pit bull mix from North Shore. My dog, Jamie, was very difficult to handle. Mike had me bring my dog out to his facility and gave me some basic training help. Jamie still has issues with other animals and people who come too close to me, but at least now he is manageable. Plus, considering that Jamie does not warm up to.most people, he liked Mike. I recommend this place to anyone needing help with behavior.

🐶🐶 I gave his facility five stars. They are really dog lovers. They really understand and know how to take care of my dog. My dog is 15 years old and he needs attention . He needs to get his medicine his food at a certain time and they did everything that I told them to do. The facility is clean. It has enough space for your dog to play around to do his business . And of course is heated so you dog won’t be cold and you don’t have to worry about your dog if you’re away on a trip . And you could always call and there’s always someone there to answer your call. There were plenty of staff. I didnt feel like my pups were neglected or didnt get enough attention. Each pup gets their own section both indoors and out. You can even ask that they put both your pets in the same kennel.Owners were very enthusiastic and obvious dog lovers.Would highly recommend this place for people needing to board their pets.

Mike and the entire staff at Doggy Be Good are exceptional. We’ve trusted Mike first with our girl Kiki who he trained brilliantly and now with our boy Rickie. We’ve been with Mike since he opened many years ago and wouldn’t trust our dogs with anyone else. Simply the best.

I wanted to drop my dog off for boarding for a mini vacation but found the facilities to be very run down and unsafe for dogs. I have brought my dog to different boarding facilities across town and was really hoping to find a nice place in my neighborhood that I could support instead of bigger chains elsewhere.The kennels are tiny and the “private outdoor space” it’s just a concrete kennel surrounded by wired fence with plenty of holes in it to get claws, paws and snouts stuck in/hurt. The staff were all very friendly but also very young (underage?) and clearly not professionally trained which you could see when they tried CHASING my clearly terrified dog from one crate to another and grabbing her by the fur trying to get a hold of her. I wouldn’t trust them to take care of her even for a night as they were figgety and nervous and really seemed not to know what they were doing.The overweight and barking dogs already in the kennels also did not strengthen my confidence in the environment at that place. Left there pretty traumatized and astonished that anyone would actually pay money to leave their dog there.

Our rottie is our baby,we would not trust anyone with her except anna and mike.these people are real animal lovers,we know she is well taken care.we left her there for 16 days and went on vacation we had clear heads knowing she was in good hands. Mike trained her when she was a pup. My dog goes there happy and when we pick her up she is happy.great place great people.love you mike and anna ,bandit says woof woof i love you too! 1st off this is run by a bunch of little kids w minimal supervisionthat they like to refer to as volunteers2nd they take emergency contacts for no reason ,as my dog had an emergency & neither me or my emergency contact were contacted3rd I only came to learn of the incident after my arrival back from traveling4th my dog returned 11lbs under weight (hence this was only 12 days), very skittish, & not himself5th I guess these people find it professional to disclose peoples information to the community without consent;as I was approached by a person in the neighborhood telling ME about MY DOGs incident 2 months after his stay .VERY PROFFESIONAL !

This place is awesome ! The dogs are very taken care of.. when you walk in the place is very welcoming . The employees are very friendly and I highly recommend this business for my fellow dog lovers

Good to know the kind of people that handles this place, As i was driving this morning to pick up a cup of coffee in the neighborhood, right in front of this place was a white pick up truck parked with no signals so i try to go around because it was blocking my view, only a second later i realized that the female driver of the SUV with the logo Doggy be Good in its back door was backing out of their driveway, i stop my car to let her pull out completely, but that wasnt enough for her. She cursed me out so bad that only for respect to the viewers of this review i will not list the words she used.shame on you and whoever runs this place, if you can treat someone you dont know and have no regards for kindness and respect, i can only imagine the way you handle this animal.please research this place well enough before you entrust your pets to this people.

I’ve used their boarding , training and grooming service and i have to say they’re amazing!! I went on a vacation recently for 3 weeks and i came back and my dog was so happy and healthy it almost seemed like he didn’t wanna leave, Wouldn’t take my dog anywhere else

I book a hotel for hubby and me and ...BOOK A SPOT FOR SOPHIA, our dog, with Mike, the owner and Anna, the groomer. Our dog returns betterlooking and better behaved. I found Doggy Be Good by accident! Needed a kennel for my JRT, Patch, who is not the easiest dog to deal with. Hes very nervous and untrusting of people, men in general. We left him with Mike, Anna and Anthony for the first time December 2013 and I was beyond a wreck, Patch is our baby. He was with them for 12 days, we exchanged a few emails all of which were reassuring. My husband picked him up upon our return and imagine his surprise when Patch was CARRIED in by Anthony and then ran passed him and up onto the desk to play with Anna. That was enough for us. Hes always in great hands with them. Were already planning to leave him in again in January which will mark his 4th stay with them and each time is better again. Thank you Mike, Anna and Anthony and the rest of the staff, for taking such GREAT care of our boy, Im so glad I found you!!!!

A few weeks ago my pup ran away she slipped out of my backyard in whitestone . I panicked i went looking for her all over my neighboorhood and no luck i checked every preicent , animal hospital / shelter in the area to see if someone may have found her. I then posted it on a facebook group called lost & found pets in queens .6 hours past And no luck :/ . I was getting very worried that she may have been taken or worse hit by a car . Around 11 pm i get a phone call from a gentlemen who said his son found my pup luna at golden park in the jungle gym area on a bench crying :/ .It turned out that the mans son was an employee at doggy be good which is located only a few blocks away from the park where she was found . once doggy be good kennel was open during normal business hours i came to pick up my baby :) . I just want to thank doggy be good for treating my luna like their own providing her shelter and feeding her until she was found! They were extremely caring people . The world needs more people like them i consider them the villalobos of queens new york ! Haha im so grateful to doggy be good kennel . God bless

This is my second stay with Doggy Be Good. It went well.UPDATE! THIS IS MY THIRD TIME HERE I LEFT MY 2 DOGS. HAD SPOKEN TO THE OWNER PRIOR TO MY DOGS ARRIVAL AND STAY. HE DIDNT REMEMBER I WAS COMMING FOR ONE AND 2ND WE SPOKE ABOUT PRICING. I COME BACK AFTER 10 DAYS AND HIS STAFF INFORMS ME OF A RAISE IN PRICE BECAUSE OF LACK OF BUISNESS THEY ARE HAVING ETC SO BECAREFUL WITH THESE PEOPLE THEYLL TRY PULLING A FAST ONE ON CUSTOMERS.

My dog is frightened of other dogs and strangers, so bringing her to a kennel is an emotional and draining experience.However, Buttercup was well-cared-for by the people at DBG. She especially loved Clever, who she bonded to very quickly. Knowing this gives me a tremendous sense of relief.We moved cross-country a year ago and we haven’t been able to find another kennel I trust like I trust this one.

We have an anxious beagle and they treated her really well, she looked happy to be there and did not look upset/nervous when they brought her to us during pickup! The manager and owner were very quick to respond to our questions and emails while we were taking the tour and during her stay. Looking forward to using their services again.

Had a very pleasant experience boarding our dog Beau. The staff were friendly and professional. The kennel was well maintained and the owner Mike offered helpful hints to make Beaus quality of life better as he is an anxious dog. We will be using Doggy Be Good again to board Beau.

Hands down, if you love your dog you will bring them here. I have an almost 4month old GSD/LAB mix who is a little nervous about people, but within a half hour of meeting with Mike and his team my pup opened up to strangers in the most playful way ! And on top of it I was taught wrongly by other trainers how to train my pup and within 24hours of speaking with Mike and bringing Riley in shes already opening up so much more! I wish I knew all the names of those who played and got Riley comfortable because they are all amazing and so kind and caring of Riley and myself. On the way home from our meeting Riley even went up to a conedison worker and started playing with him ! I cant thank Mike and his team enough for the confidence you have given me to raise a beautiful friendly pup ! I know Riley is in great hands 💖

As a former business owner myself, Im not one to post petty negative reviews ever unless its absolutely justified. I boarded my beautiful Shih Tzu at Doggy Be Good for 2 weeks. I dropped off my dog in pristine condition, freshly bathed and matt free. I picked up my dog and not only was he severely matted all over both his ears and his tail BUT his beautiful long eyelashes have been cut down to short stubs without my consent! The owner of course denied it and claims maybe I did not remember how his eyelashes were cut since he was last groomed. Are you kidding me?!! I asked my vet for his opinion while he was examining my dog and he confirmed that they had in fact been cut. My groomer has also confirmed that they were clearly cut!!! So PLEASE STOP telling me that I dont remember if my dogs eyelashes were previously cut or not before dropping him off. That is ABSURD and just proves how incompetent you are. Worst of all he wasnt eating since he returned home and was vomiting profusely and hes now in the hospital on an IV!!! He more than likely contracted a VIRUS FROM THIS PLACE. Do NOT EVER use this place & SHARE this with other dog owners. I have filed a report with the Better Business Bureau as well. This place is a nightmare. Also PLEASE STOP contacting my vet and trying to find out my dogs medical records!!!! You have now contacted my vet on 2 separate occasions. My vet will NOT release any information to you. Your behavior speaks for itself as to how you run your business.
