Happy Tails Daycare & Pet Resort

We love taking our Maisie to Happy Tails! Our aussiedoodle has gone for day care and recently a 5 day stay while we traveled.We know Maisie is in great hands while she is there and it is fun watching her play on the cameras!!

Good place to bring your dog for boarding or doggy daycare in Corning area. Staff is friendly. Minus one star because they never answer the phone and you definitely have to book in advance through their website, so don’t expect to be able to bring your dog here if you need last minute services.

Our two pups love coming to daycare and spending the night here. The staff seem to genuinely love their job and the dogs. They are very accommodating and don’t nickel-and-dime you like a lot of other pet resorts. The only thing I wish they’d add is cameras where our dogs sleep. Other than that their yard is huge so plenty of space for the pups to play and exercise and the hours of operation are good for most occasions.

Mr Magoo and Loki loved their experience with both day care and overnights during our recent camping trip back to the Finger Lakes. We highly recommend Happy Tails as we certainly will be repeat customers every year.

My dog spent her first day there today and clearly loved it! I could see her on the webcam running around outside, and she is pleasantly tired now that we’re home. I look forward to boarding her there in the future. The staff are kind, friendly, and knowledgeable!

Highly recommend! My non human son has been attending daycare happily on and off for 2 years. He is also safe and sound each night I have to have him boarded. The facility is clean and they genuinely care about my dog and me. Great place!!

While traveling on vacation we took our pup Theo here while we did some exploring of the area on our own. The employees were great to speak and work with, and Theo had a blast. We loved that they had an outdoor area for him to run around with his new pup friends. Highly recommend to other pet owners.

Very clean. Friendly staff. My dog spent an introduction day in daycare for free. She had a wonderful time playing with the other dogs. While she is only 8 lbs and most of the others were large dog, she was safe and monitored. I felt comfortable leaving her. She will definitely be going back for play dates!

Staff is great and my dog loves it there. They have a large play area and my dog is well cared for. I will advise two things, however. First, if you get the 10-day overnight bulk package, it saves you money but their software has trouble keeping track of how many days are used / remaining so you should keep a backup for your records. Second, the dogs play so much, they get dirty so plan on bathing them when you pick them up :-)

Very nice kitty accommodations and nice folks. Sadly, my cat has intense separation anxiety and didnt appreciate the facilities as much as I did. Reasonable prices, too!

Cant be happier about the quality of service provided by the folks at happy tails. We bring our golden retriever here weekly and he always comes home happy and exhausted. When in a pinch for boarding, happy tails is always here to bail us out.

Knowledgeable, helpful, and loving staff. My dog Zeus loves going there, their prices are fair, their facilities are nice with plenty of playing room. They were willing to work with me when I first visited to allow me smoothly integrate my dog into the social environment. I highly recommend Happy Tails!

Terrible experience, the staff refused to work with my dog due to her high energy level. She has gone to daycare her entire life and never have we encountered anyplace with such a poor attitude, she has never had an issue with behavior. The staff is unfriendly all around, not paying one lick of attention to me or my dog for over 15 minutes while I stood there waiting for an evaluation. Later on, I heard that they had been complaining about my dog to other clients, saying she was spoiled and none of the other dogs there liked her. These assumptions were made in a 3 minute time frame where she was only allowed to interact with 2 older, non-energetic dogs who obviously did not take well to her wanting to play. Do yourself a favor and dont put your dogs through this place unless they just need someone to watch them while they nap.

They take great care of our dog. Dogs get to run around a big yard on a regular basis. Also has video on web so you can watch the dogs play.

I have taken my dog & cat to Happy Tails numerous times to be boarded & my dog has been to daycare there also. I have never, ever had any problems whatsoever. My dog had to take meds also for seizures & arthritis. He also had separation anxiety extremely bad ! Last summer I was in Florida for 2 wks & Elaine (the owner) even called me becuz she knew I was worried about my dog being away from me for so long. She told me he had made friends with a certain few - which, believe me, was a huge deal for my dog ! Every time we pulled in the parking lot , you would never know he had arthritis becuz he would stand up, tail wagging in joy & was ready to get out of my vehicle before I could even get my door open. And every time I came to pick him up to go home, he slept all the way home & all night, indicating to me he played hard & enjoyed it there. I knew my dog very well & if he didnt like it or was scared, I would be able to tell by his actions because he was a very neurotic pet. I would highly recommend this home away from home. The staff are always out amongst the dogs when they are in the yard & ( NO, I am in no way related to the owner or any staff she employs). They have plenty of fun things for dogs to do there, depending on the weather. Please read on their website or call to visit to see for yourself. I would not hesitate to board any pet there. My cat will be boarded there again soon & they have a separate building for felines which also has amenities for them. Sadly, I had to put my best buddy - Bear down recently & it had NOTHING to do with Happy Tails. If anything, being there brought him out of how shell more. Thank you Elaine & staff for taking such good care of my pets. Being away from them was one less thing to worry about while on vacation knowing they were in such good hands. RIP Bear - I love you :-)

Highly recommended for people traveling with dogs and want to visit the Corning Museum. Everyone I met at the day care was wonderful and I could tell my dog was taken cared for. Thank you!

What kind of boader puts all the dogs together for playtime??? We have boarded our dogs for years, and this is the first Ive ever heard of putting different dogs together. Im not looking for daycare, Im looking for boarding!! I dont want my dogs playing with other dogs when they are being boarded. No wonder they had big kennel cough outbreak!

Probably the best doggy daycare boarding place around. They love the animals and take care of them like their own.

Being the primary caregiver for a dementia patient makes your life hit or miss.These folks have several times, tailored thier hours.and prices to fit my needs. Thank you Happy Tails!

Smokey loves going to Happy Tails whether its for the day or several nights. He rushes to go through the door and never looks back to see if Im going too.

Couldnt recommend this place more, I took 2 cats in and everything went perfectly. Its going to be hard to trust any other place from here on out knowing how kind and caring the people are here!

Everything seemed to go well. Never used a kennel before so I was nervous about it. The dog seem to come home happy.

My dogs LOVE coming here. Sometimes we board them for a few days as a little vacation for them and some alone time for us. They always look so happy on the cameras and they can’t control their excitement when we pull up to happy tails to drop them off! I never worry if they will be taken care of. The staff seem really attentive well trained. Thank you happy tails for giving the dogs (and us) a happy and fun vacation.

Happy tails is a reliable and safe place for our dog to play or be boarded. Weve used HT several times in the last few years and its been a hassle free and satisfying experience knowing that theyre going to take good care of our pup while were away. Booking, payment etc. is conveniently done online and webcams available to see what the dogs are up to. Absolute professionals!

We were looking for a place to board our 2 cats and came here to view the facility before deciding what to do. They have a new cat room for boarding which is a seperate building in the back that is brand new. We were very disappointed that each cat area has a see through door, and a small window, but the area is only a 3x4 square with 2 solid walls. There was NO STAFF member in the cat area at the time of our visit and there were other cats being boarded there that we saw. As of our visit there also were no cameras so the staff in the other building could see them. No one was there with them AND no cameras so no one could even see them, they are just left in this seperated back building, in this tiny cubicle all alone. It was SO sad to me. Perhaps their program for dogs is much better? We could NOT leave our cats there for 8 days, it was just too small and with no staff anywhere near them.

Ive been taking my dog to Happy Tails for over a year now and have probably used them at least 10 times now, some for weekends, other times for 10-14 days. All that to say, Im really confident in my ability to fairly review them and If I could give a 10 star review on here, I would.My dog LOVES it here and he loves the people who work here the most. Hes a people person so him having a bond with the staff is super important to me. Im the kind of dog owner where my dog is like a child to me and I get upset leaving him behind, (he gets car sick so Ive had to board him more than I would like). Every time Ive dropped him off, hes happy to go inside and everyone knows him by name. On shorter stays, hes actually seemed disappointed to leave haha. Its important to mention this because my dog is phased by very few things so I never thought much about his reaction to being dropped off/picked up at HT. Due to scheduling issues on my end, I took him to another place in our area over the summer. When I picked him up from daycare, he seemed a little off but I let it go. When I brought him the next day for an over night, he did NOT want to go. So, If Happy Tails doesnt have availability, Ill cancel my plans before he goes anywhere else!I also took him to one of the week long basic training classes in the evening and that was great. During this time, I got to see the dogs that were being boarded playing in the yard and the staff knew ALL of them by name. There were at least a dozen dogs! I also really like that they do behavior tests with all of the new dogs before they can access the dog park or any of their services. My dog is almost 100lbs, but hes sensitive and submissive so knowing hes with other dogs that have gone through behavior testing was really important to me.10/10 we love Happy Tails!!!

Wonderful boarding facility. I love that I can check in with my dogs via webcam when we are gone, and that they always come home just as happy as when we left. You can tell they truly care about the animals. Well kept facility, very happy with the staff, and will be using them again and again!

I would not recommend this place. My dog came out with a bite on her face and it was never mentioned to me.. I had to see it when I was giving her a bath. When I asked what happened they said nothing. Makes me question to the supervision of this place
