Took our dog to get groomed and lets just say it looked more like edward scissor hands was the groomer. He looked worse after and SMELT HORRIBLE! Hair was all over and the staff tried to give me some cheap collar in place of the one i brought in with dog. Have two dogs in there at your feet just barking non stop cant even talk or think straight. For the price id expect more

We cant say enough wonderful things about Star and Beck. We have an older dog named Aja who has a lot of medical and orthopedic issues, and she has a very difficult time standing up for grooming. They came to our home and were so sweet and patient with Aja, allowing her to lie down for the entirety of the grooming, which was exactly what she needed. She also looked amazing, even though they groomed her lying down!! Our other dog Porter gets a little anxious with grooming, and they were also amazing with him. Such an incredible service to offer in home for our two dogs.In addition to being wonderful with the grooming, Star and Beck stopped by the next day to give us a sample of their home-made wet dog food, which was above and beyond. Aja had stopped eating for awhile, and we were very worried about her, were preparing for the worst if she didnt start eating again. We had offered her numerous different types of store bought food, and she wouldnt eat anything. When we offered the food made by Star and Beck, she IMMEDIATELY started eating, and her energy and appetite has since then bounced back, and we will be making their food our regular dog food. I honestly cant say enough about the grooming, the food AND the service.

This was our 2nd time at the groomers. The 1st time was AMAZING ❤️❤️The 2nd time It was like they forgot to trim the other side of our Very Tiny dog and His nails didn’t looked trimmed even the hair on his face was longer then the other side . Saddens me because we truly loved it there but for $61 on a 4 lb dog it should of been done right Mr Murphy deserves better Juat saying 😩🥺😢

This is the ONLY groomers I will bring my fur baby! Matthew and Star are exceptional and my pup loves them. The place is so clean and they are so pleasant and patient. The dog food they carry is very fresh, healthy and my dog would inhale it! The drop-off and pickup arrangements work out great.

We have had our Poovense, Luca, groomed by Star twice now, and I cant say enough amazing things about how well he is done.Admittedly we usually wait too long in between hair appointments for him, because he looks so cute when he is fluffy, but regardless the length of his curly hair, Star always makes sure he comes out looking amazing. 🥰We will always recommend this business to our friends and family!

Ms. Sallys first spa day here and Star and her team were amazing. Very attentive from the start. Sally was super excited after her appointment which means she enjoyed her first spa day here. She is so exhausted at moment. Very proud dog mom and doggie thank you for your services and see you next month.

We were so excited to try this place for our golden retriever. We booked him an extra spa treatment & groom session. We were very pleased with how they groomed him, but on another note.. we were told a certain time to come pick up our dog, so we planned our schedule with what they said for timing and yet they were done an hr and a half early, which unfortunately that makes us skeptical that everything was completely done. Which we can only hope it actually was. After given the time he would be ready, we left and were told we would receive a text when he was finished. There was a text sent an hr and half earlier saying our dog was ready, and due to misinformation we did not see the text & we do apologize for not seeing it immediately. When we arrived, the person at the desk said: “I had to move my schedule around but I made it work” which came off as rude & unprofessional. This comes off this way because the time we were quoted was significantly earlier than what was told and the commentary was unnecessary after we sincerely apologized that we didn’t see the text right away. We were also told that if we showed up earlier than when the text went out we would have an additional fee.Maybe instead of just sending a text think about giving customers a call if you are gonna be done significantly earlier than what was told.I also paid for a dog bandana for my dog and was told they were all out. I did not receive a refund for this, which is crazy because this is part of the package I purchased. Rude, expensive, I only wish I saw some of the other reviews before I chose this place.

I had to take my cat to the groomer for the first time and I was quite nervous (as I wasnt sure how she would react in that environment). Star walked me through the process and updated me with their text messaging system, which brought relief. They did a great job with the wash/cut, and my pet seemed to enjoy the process. Would definitely recommend!

Extremely happen with the cleaning and hair cut of our 4 yr old golden retriever! We’ve tried grooming services at the big chain stores with poor results. Star did a great job on the perfect hair cut for our girl; not too much, not too little, smelled fantastic and her fur was softer than it has been since she was a pup! Highly recommended!

Star and her assistant were prompt and professional. I have a Goldendoodle puppy Rebel, who is not so small and has tons of hair. I got a full service for him(wash, haircut, nail grind) and I was amazed at how she handled my dog. He immediately welcomed her and I didn’t hear the usual struggle I get when I attempt to wash the dog. When she was finished she thoroughly cleaned the space. When I tell you Rebel looked amazing, it is an understatement!! His coat was so soft and fluffy he could finally see through his hair; he just looked like a new dog. I will absolutely recommend her service to everyone I know, and will definitely be using her in the future. Amazing work!!!

My little guy doesn’t handle grooming very well and the last place I took him shaved him part way before asking me to pick him up because he was nippy. I had Star come and they were very gentle with him and I didn’t hear any protesting from him during the entire grooming and bath experience. Amazing. The cut was so cute and evened-out the choppiness. Star and Beck are great and I highly recommend their service. Thank you!

We took our two small dogs for a wellness groom by Star. They were done very well. I felt after looking at them closely, after leaving, that I had not left a big enough tip... they were that good.

O’h my gosh - so happy to have found Star. My two boys hate going in the car (crazy I know) and have a lot of anxiety. Star and her team came over - set up everything on our back deck, gave the boys a great bath, awesome haircut, cuts nails - everything. Professional, great with my dogs and was so much easier for me. Highly recommend and will definitely a a keep be using her services again.

I cannot say enough about Star and Beck, their professionalism, their unbelievable craft, and the kindness they have with the dogs they work with. We are beyond delighted. My experience with “Grooming by Star” was excellent. We have 3 dogs that look gorgeous now! ! Star and Beck did an outstanding job bathing and grooming...we especially love the “feather duster” tails on the big dogs and the convenience of an at-home service.

Star did such an incredible job with my girl! Shes been having some skin issues and her fur got matted up. Star got me in super quick and my girl looks absolutely gorgeous! Her skin looks so healthy after getting a good scrub down and the shave was so well done, not just legs and face, but fade was flawless. You can tell she takes pride in her work! The pricing is reasonable as well.My only critique is the incense burning at the front desk. It was pretty intense. Im pretty sensitive to smells, so thats probably just a me problem 😅. But other than that, it was an absolutely perfect experience!(Last pic is before)

The staff is Educated and very well trained. Star is the best. The dogs always look so good, feel so soft and smell fresh for weeks.

Star was great with Holly. She was looking pretty rough as we had lost our groomer and hadn’t been able to find a new one that was taking on clients. Holly looked great! She is awful at getting her nails trimmed and Star was great with her.

We have a fairly difficult tempered, long haired cat. Star was compassionate and wonderful w her. They were great w communication. We appreciate her expertise and kindness!

Star & Beck groomed my dog for the 1st time and they did a great job. Symba is 9 mo and apprehensive of strangers. The were gentle, sensitive and open with him and he settled into their care. His hair is the right length, I can see his eyes again, his face is perfect, no razor burn, most important - he’s a happy boy. Thank you Star and for your assistance, Beck. Very clean and neat. Excellent service. My wifes Yorkie loves going there to be groomed. She works well with dogs of all types, shapes and sizes. If you are looking for a groomer, she has my highest recommendation.

I had an appointment for my Daisy today December 23 and the weather is quite nasty where I live on a hill...pretty icy. I know the main roads are good but getting off my hill is challenging. They would not take into consideration for the bad weather and charged my CC for the $17 cancelation fee. Very inconsiderate. I was holding off canceling because you never know the weather around here. I do know the cancelation policy but thought maybe just maybe since the weather is playing a role you would give a 1 time courtesy. Actually the money doesnt really make a difference to me. Just the point of how you reacted.

If your dogs nails have gotten a bit long, this guy will chop them back into the quick. This is not ethical nor necessary. It hurts your dog incredibly. Be advised.

Very professional and kind. My bloodhound is very timid of loud noises and anything can spook her .I was very satisfied with the service and they even got her nails clipped which is no easy feat. I will definitely call again for this service. Thank you so much.

Yall are taking your dogs and cats to a groomer and scammer. Just a few short years ago they were arrested on 13 counts of animal cruelty. Not to mention the scamming numerous people claiming to be a service dog organization/trainer. Their prior grooming gig in Syracuse had NOTHING good to say about them either. Their coworkers claimed they would go out of their way to clip the quicks of dogs that werent easy to deal with. Purposefully removing mats so dogs would struggle with their footings. Just a cruel individual. Save your pets, and go elsewhere!Shes trying to get my review removed! I have proof! I even won a small claims court case against her for ~$2000. That has now gone up to $3200! Email me for proof!

What a wonderful and convenient service! Star and Beck are super friendly and professional. They handled my newly adopted and anxious rescue so gently and helped him get comfortable. They know what they are doing! Now he smells soo nice and looks absolutely beautiful after his cut. They brought all their equipment and cleaned the porch and tub after they were done - so you don’t have to do anything. I highly recommend them!!
