K 9 Kutters

As someone that has visited several dog care businesses, I feel K9 cutters is in a league of its own. The entire team have shown to be experts at their trade. They are compassionate and skilled with high anxiety pups. They respond quick to appointment requests and offer online scheduling. I am truly appreciative of every person I have encountered there. I have been using their services for many years and have never had a bad experience.

Took my Golden Retriever in yesterday…Showed them a picture of my daughters Golden that she had groomed elsewhere on Wednesday. I told them I wanted her just as short as they could get it all over without shaving her of course! After leaving a very generous tip I got her home to realize it was a very choppy cut and she was very furry, and her ears were so greasy she looks like she needs a bath!!! I didn’t want to leave a bad review without reaching out to them first. Shame on me for not checking the reviews first. The owners response was you got exactly what you asked for!!!! Very poor customer service. You just lost another customer. So I have an appointment at my daughter’s groomer on Thursday of next week to correct their bad work! I guess I can kiss that $120 goodbye! Buyer beware!!!Update: Took my pup to Home Away from Home on Saturday to see if they could correct the choppy job I rec’d at K9 Cutters, They were able to take a full inch and a half off all over, an absolute beautiful job, if you haven’t given them a try please do, you’ll be so happy you did!!!!!

Have 2 dogs that I bring to K-9 Kutters. Staff is super friendly. You can tell they care for their fur customers very much. I feel safe leaving my dogs there as they always come home happy, looking great and smelling good. Prices are just right and reflect the great work they do. Highly recommended!!!

We have gone to this grooming place for years!! I even interned for the previous owners. Very disappointed in the service we have been receiving. We brought it up to the owner about our last vist. The only thing she said was I wasn’t here and I can do both dogs today. My long haired dog was greasy not brushed. They wont even attempt to cut my other dogs nails. The owner was not polite at all while explaining why we didn’t care for the service they gave my dog. We will not be returning.

Friendly staff. Awesome cuts. My dog always smells so good. Pricing is just right too. Highly recommend

Very inconsistent :( I have gone to K9 cutters for many years on and off with my fur babies. When they were located in Derby I never had a problem. I have witnessed the groomers being rough with my 4lb Yorkie ( when I say being rough. Referring to aggressively brushing her) it showed her pictures and got nothing close to it. She look like she pretty much just shaved her. I gave them two more chances after two other incidences this final one will never go back there again!! IAM posting a picture of what actually took place and what they were supposed to do. (Second photo was done by wash n wag in Lakeview) . Please note that I did give her the picture of what I was looking for. Dont get me wrong she looks beautiful

Very happy with K 9 Kutters! I brought my 20 year old senior kitty to have matted fur removed. They took such good care of him. Only shaved half of him because hes so thin and the cold weather. I will be taking him back!

They wash, bath and trim nails on both our dogs. One is a monster German Shepherd, who is a big baby, the other is a 4lb Malchi. They handle them both very well and do a great job on both.

I am very happy with K 9 Cutters and my dogs race to the door when we get there. Come home coat is shining , smooth and trims are great. Been going there a few years, will continue. Staff is great , friendly and very accommodating, help me get dogs into carPlace is clean and not over booked .

I took my “baby” there today for the first time and was very pleased. They are friendly and the area is clean and bright. I have always gone to a private groomer so I was a little nervous leaving her, but they did a great job and Holly looks beautiful. I will definitely be back.

I just picked my Oreo up, he looks beautiful! Michelle did a wonderful job! The prices are great, the facility is clean, and they fit our pets in, in a timely manner. They gave been grooming my moms dogs for years and have always done a great job !

Have been taking my dogs there since Richard started. Everyone is so great theyre like family now. Reasonable rates and always a great job. Pups love them!

My fiance & I take our older dog Blue here & they do such a wonderful job with him. They are pretty reasonably priced and our fur baby looks beautiful when we pick him up.

I have a senior dog who needed his nails clipped, Ive gone here before, I was seen 15 minutes after I had called. They were very accommodating and caring. Great groomers.

Love this place! My dog smells great, they were able to “de-skunk” him and his breath smells really fresh😍 Thanks so much for Luca’s spa day! I highly recommend K9 Kutters!!!

Awesome place to bring your dog to be groomed! Our Havanese dog, Thor, always comes out looking amazing. The owners are extremely kind and gentle. Service is also quicker than Petsmart and the price is almost half of what they charge.

Love this place. People are so nice, friendly & do a great job grooming my dogs. Kenan & Ginger came home smelling so fresh & clean, plus, their coats are soft as silk

I would give this place five stars they were very courteous and they did a very great job on my dog! My phone wouldnt let me write him higher than three which is not fair five stars.

Have been a client here with my shih Tzus for 22 years. Richard and Lynn were always awesome . Always felt safe leaving my animals there. Went in for Izzys appointmentGrommer asked if she was newI said no. I explained she is 15 years old and I had a bad experience in FL. Izzy couldnt walk for two days after grooming. I asked her to be carefulShe said I cant guarantee this wont happen. Do you want her groomed. I was hesitant now. Then she asked me how I wanted her face. I paused because I was never asked that before. The groomer gave me a disgusted look threw her hands and turned her back to me. I left did not feel safe leaving my little old baby with her. How rude. A shame I have heard the same from others how rude this girl is. Im so sorry for Richard and Lynn. She is ruining this business!!!

Amazing service every time I go here, the owner is so kind and friendly and is also very gentle with my dogs and cat! Prices are so much better then anywhere else🙂
