Absolutely fabulous area with everything you could want to entertain your pup! Two big shades fenced lots with common divide to allow safe space fun. Stocked with tennis balls, Chuck it’s and other toys as well as swimming pools and fresh drinking water. Thank you to all who made this happen!
Several occasions when larger dogs have been left in the dog play areas unattended, and with no one around. This discourages owners of small dogs from using the areas, as these larger dogs have often been aggressive 😳 😬😐🤨😮💨😔☹️
We were visitors last year to this park. My last name is Hazelton and was so excited to bring my puppy here as his first dog park. Oren absolutely loved it.
My 5 month old puppies love it here, big area for small dogs to run, trees, benches and its clean. Area is extremely muddy this time of year.
Beautiful dog park . Lots of toys and water provided. Great friendly people at the park. No mean dogs go to the park. Beautiful shaded/ sunny area . Benches also so you can sit and watch youre doggy play and love life
I was hesitant to take my dog to this dog park when I first heard it had opened for a few reasons but one was primarily my dogs head-strong ways and his hulking persona that tends to scare other dogs and their owners. But on a day that all my other walking spots were out of commission for one reason or another, I was passing by Hazelton Park with my brothers little dog and my big lab when I notice the park was empty. A perfect time to get a feel for the place really without the added pressure of a strange dog around. And I was glad I stopped, too. Especially when I found that the park supplied both water and treats for the doggy visitors and plenty of toys to play with. It was also clean and obviously cared for by those that used the park to exercise their dogs. The patrons were respectful of the grounds and cleaned up after their dogs as they should do and this was also impressive to me. They had enough park benches for the dogs two-legged visitors but I was also aware that the park wouldnt always be empty of other dogs like it was on that day and I would have to cross that bridge when I got to it-which was the very next time. Again, on another beautiful summer day, I had decided to visit the park and had already gotten my two dogs inside the fenced in area when another person came along with their dog and entered the second fenced-in area. I wasnt really afraid of my dog causing trouble or fighting, just being bigly and somewhat rude I guess would be the correct word here. Theres something about his size that makes other dog owners uneasy no matter what I say and his bark is deep and loud and fits him to a tee really. That and the fact that he barely listens to me-partly due to an ear issue as well as his being bullheaded. But with the fence separating them the three dogs were okay with one another outside of a lot of pointless barking from all. I could not relax and truly enjoy our visits to Hazelton! I will say that it was around July 4, 2022 that I took my two dogs to the dog park only to find that it has been senselessly vandalized with toys, treats and water coolers either stolen or broken and I just couldnt get my head around the reason for such an act. I was young once and did my share of stupid things but this was beyond anything I ever did or would have done. Another visitor came along and we discussed what was left but they didnt seem as shocked as me apparently having saw this short of thing happen before at Hazelton.Ive only gone back a handful of times since that day but I drive by it frequently and Im happy to see it is still being used and enjoyed by local dogs and their owners. Its usually busy and things seem to be normal as ever. Im glad that the pointless vandalism that made me sick didnt affect the existence of the Hazelton Dog Park and it is good to see it is still used and appreciated by the local citizens. Dunkirk was slow in getting this type of park and now that they have, I hope they hang onto it for many years to come. With the local beaches off limits to dogs, it isnt easy finding somewhere that a city dog can be let loose to run free without the usual restraints that hold them back and keep them safe.
Great dog park. Clean, plenty of bags, and toys if you forget your own. Definitely will be back.
Perfect place for our dogs 🐕
Cute little dog park... gave my doggo a place to run when we were passing through the area. She was the only one there, probably due to light rain. Con would be no water available on site.
Amazing place! They had baskets with balls, chuckits, and other things. Plus, they had agility equipment for large and small dogs.
Our dog loved the park. She had it all to herself but still loved it.
Fun dog park while we were in the area, would suggest checking it out :)
Awesome place to let your pups play. And good social atmosphere between the dog parents ☺️
Large park with two seperate sections. Free waste bags, lots of toys, and multiple water bowls already there for your use.
Its a very nice place to let youre dog run and play!
We like the size of this park. Mochi loves running here with friends
Amazing little spot even have rackets and balls for fetch
A little muddy, but the kids enjoyed it. Smell them smells.
Snowy. People should pick up dog waste better, snow or no snow
Our dogs loved it.

Convenient and helpful.
Clean & cared for by all.
