Groomsville Dog Grooming

I’m very disappointed. I was very specific about what I wanted for my Yorkie. I expressed what I wanted when I made the appointment, when we dropped off my dog, and then again when I got home. I even told them to call me if they had any questions. Even though I expressed to them that his face haircut was extremely important, it is evident that they either totally forgot what I wanted, or disregarded what I said entirely, and instead gave him a haircut that they thought that he should have. Furthermore, when I called the groomer again, he decided to argue with me instead of just owning up to their error. I specifically told them to keep his face hair long- long enough to put into a ponytail/ topknot. I also told them to keep his face full and to just lightly trim if anything was uneven. Instead, his ponytail is all chopped off and so is the rest of his face hair. If you look at the pictures below, you will see what I mean. Any groomer who knows how to make a topknot and groom a Yorkie properly would know that the hair should not look like that when placed in a topknot.

No better place in my opinion if you believe your pet deserves respect, attention and time. Our pug just crossed the rainbow bridge last month. We would bring her to Pete and his awesome team every six weeks. She LOVED them and was always was shown love back. In a world where laziness, disrespect for work ethic, and caring appears to take a back seat it’s a great feeling to know Pete’s Groomsville is the real deal! Thanks Pete and team for always being the best.

Took my 1 year old Teddy Bear dog to get fully groomed and when I picked him up he was shaved all the way down to his skin. The Grooming was uneven in areas and my dog has not been the same since he came home. Hes not active. He wont play like he use to. All he does is lay down and sleep and if hes not sleeping hes still laying down. Something happened to my dog. Im truly upset and concerned. I took him to the vet and they put him on anti-inflammatory meds and stated to bring him back if hes not back to normal in a few days. Dont go to this groomer, I did and my dog is paying the price for it.

Had a great experience, it was our first time bringing our puppy there. Her first cut since she only a few months old. She never been around any other dogs before and Pete came out and took her and explained everything to us about her cut and what not. He told us it would be an hour or two and it was exact that. We picked her up and she was happy as anything. And we saw that they kept her close to them as they worked but by herself. This place is cage free and they defiantly kept her safe and care for people’s dogs. They even charged us a puppy price

I’ve been going to Pete‘s for the last couple of years. Groomsville is so accommodating to their customers so caring and compassionate to there furry clients… All I can do is sing his praises! The thing that’s so great about Groomsville is that Pete doesn’t even know what wonderful service he provides… It just comes naturally to him. I work full-time and so does My Husband, so getting our dogs there for an emergency grooming, nail cutting, bath or haircut… during the week and first available, is near impossible, but Pete does everything he can to Cater to my schedule and my puppies needs. I had been bringing baby and Rocky there for two years and without fail they always come back with wagging tails and complete perfectness. If your furry family members are as important to you as they are to me, Pete is the person to bring your dogs to… He treats them Like they were his own… I would never bring my dogs anywhere else ever again. They love Pete so much in fact, that most dogs dread walking into a groomers door pulling their lease the other way… Mine jump at the door waiting for me and begging me to open it so they can run right in… And seeing them react that way, makes every penny worth it! Thank you Pete for years of great customer service, even better prices, and a safe place to bring my babies. ❤️

The staff, especially Blanca, is very kind to animals [and to people, too]. She did a fantastic job with our pup. Our normally shy dog, didnt leave Blancas side. Dogs KNOW the difference between good and bad! This place is the best!

Absolutely Love Groomsville! This is our second time going with our goldendoodle Leia. Blanca was our groomer and she is excellent and you can tell she absolutely loves dogs. She has done exactly what I wanted both visits. This last visit was after 3 month because of covid and my dog had some matting . I was nervous she would need to be completely shaved down but Blanca worked with the mats while keeping the exact style I wanted and you would never know she had some matted areas! she gave her a perfect cut! Blanca clearly takes pride in her work and does not rush. The salon took excellent precautions when they reopened after covid and I was extremely happy! I would highly recommend.

Just picked up my dog I started to notice the hair near his eyes and on his snout were completely shave down to where I can see his skin now as I look closer I could see his one eye tearing and totally red. Called the shop with absolutely no remorse only to say they it didnt happen their When I brought him in his eyes were totally FINE! Thank you for INJURING my dog then over charging me $80dollars when the your people told me 60 at drop off. Shame on you!

I have 3 dogs. A pitbull, yorkie and yorkie poodle. I take them there all the time (mostly the little guys) I cant say enough good things about groomsville. They take their time and are respectful of the animals. My yorkie loves it there !! The staff is pleasant and respectful and my doggie babies always come out handsome.👍👍❤❤

Great business and great people who will take the time to properly groom your pet as well as take care of them. My dog felt comfortable leaving her here she didnt cry once

Dropped my poofy Cav mix off for a summer cut. Last year he was butchered elsewhere. Pete did a great job, and when I picked up my dog he looked great, and he was happy and excited - not stressed out!Highly recommended!

My Max always comes out of there looking his best! Max is a rescued dog and sometimes unpredictable but he loves everyone there and I really appreciate how nicely they treat him.

It took over 3 hours to get our puppy’s grooming done.... but it was worth it!He came out looking like a Show Dog!

The staff at Groomsville are fantastic. Everyone is quite pleasant and our puppies are comfortable with them.

Love this place...have been taking my baby there since she was a pup (6 years)....Highly recommended.

Do not bring your pet here if you care about it. The place used to be ok but has gone down hill. The last visit (and I do mean LAST!) they grinded my dogs nails so low that they were bleeding for days. The haircut was also very extremely uneven - performed by the owner himself according to him.
