Our GSD puppy Rayna attended the 3 week Dream Dog training program and we could not be happier. Samantha was professional, responsive and reassuring throughout the process. Our Rayna is now listening, healing and just delightful. Recently we had a minor setback with leash frustration but I reached out to Samantha and she guided us through what to do. Happy to say Rayna and I are both enjoying our leash walks and she’s living her best dog life! Thank you K9 Team Training!

As always Tony G had a great time with Samantha and TJ during his stay. They took great care of him and he was happy and healthy when I picked him up. Sam and TJ are always pleasant and willing to let me know how my little buddy interacted with the other pups and how he enjoyed himself. I would highly recommend.

My 2-year-old cavapoo Poppy had never been away from me for more than a night or two, so I was quite nervous when a two-week vacation came up, our dog-sitter cancelled last minute, and all the places I used to take my previous dog to board (Pattys, Rhinebeck Animal Hospital, and All Creatures) are all no longer doing boarding. Ack! Thank goodness for K-9 Team Training. TJ and Sam are great, and the grounds are beautiful, and they clearly have a good routine there. Poppy doesnt speak English so she cant confirm this, but just based on her demeanor, Id say she had an amazing time at sleepaway camp and was tired, healthy and happy upon her return home.(The only thing I wished was that they would send pics or I could see pictures of her on Facebook or something while I was away, because I missed her, but thats a ME problem, not a them problem -- I did email halfway through the trip and got a nice email back with an update on how she was doing, so that was reassuring!)

Last year we took our boxer puppy, Roz, to K9 Team Training and Sam worked wonders with her. While she is still a work in progress……she is a boxer after all, lol!…..we were thrilled with the great training she received and the guidance we received that allow us to maintain that training. We also board Roz at K9 Team Training whenever we go away and know that she will get the best care and she is happy to go there! Thank you so much Samantha and TJ…..see you next time!

Hands down, Samantha & K9 Team training will always be our go to when needed with any new 4-legged family member. She is attentive, patient, and was able to help our girl learn boundaries we couldnt get on our own.

Sam trained our mini bernese Bruno when he was 12 weeks old, and then again at 4 months. Honestly, we had never had a pet, and getting a puppy was very overwhelming, and if it weren’t for her, her advice, and her encouragement, I think I would have given up. She is super competent, knows the ins and outs of dogs, and just inspires confidence. This Xmas, I was panicking because our normal dog sitter who stays at our house was not available, and Bruno had not been at a kennel for a long time. Many wont take him as he is not neutered. But he stayed with Sam for 5 nights and had a great time- we could just tell he was happy when we picked him up- he was able to play with other dogs and she keeps the pups on a routine, which Bruno is used to. Also, Bruno has celiac and gets colitis, so we have to be careful with his food and he takes medication daily, and I knew she and TJ were on the ball and organized. Knowing your dog is ok is PRICELESS!

What a life-saver Samantha is! We got a rescue dog last a bit over a year ago and it quickly became clear that Monte was reactive to all wildlife (tricky when you live in the country) and to other dogs. He was also a runner and would bolt out the door. Samantha said that it would probably take 8 lessons so train him and it actually took 7. She taught us basic commands and then slowly introduced Monte to her 3 dogs. By the last lesson, she had us walking around her property with Monte off-leash and we even walked him by her chicken coop. We just couldn’t believe it. And he has continued to make amazing progress ever since. He can be off-leash on our property and while he’s still not completely excited to meet other dogs, he is not at all aggressive and he is definitely learning how to play with them. Thank you, Samantha! We are so grateful for your help. (Jenny and Adam)

Ive boarded my dog at K9 three times now and have nothing but good things to say. My rottie needs to be separated from other dogs and I was actually turned down at another kennel before I found K9. Their set-up allows my dog to be outside but separated so shes still able to get the new dog stimulation. I always opt for the daily nature walk (extra charge) so I know shes getting exercise and attention. Ive had last minute scheduling issues and they have accommodated me every single time. Definitely recommend!

Very happy pups when I picked them up. Staff were great and demonstrated knowledge of handling dogs and knowing various behaviors/traits they have. Both will be coming back for Daycare just to socialize with other dogs and being watched carefully by staff during their recreation time to avoid issues. Thanks to the K 9 Team from Pepe & LeVie

Samantha did a wonderful job training us & our Golden Aussiedoodle puppy, Duncan! She helped with all the puppy unwanted behaviors as well as more advanced obedience. We did not even have walking off leash as a goal and were delighted when that became a reality. We highly recommend Samantha for both training and boarding. Both TJ and Samantha are great taking care of Duncan when he boards - he always returns home happy and well cared for.

K9 Team Training is our favorite place to board our dog. We especially like the daily group play, which our dog loves - she has much more fun at K9 than she does at home! Sam and TJ truly care about the dogs and are total professionals. We trust that our dog is in great hands.

We had our dog Brown-O test this place out for a boarding opportunity later on in the summer, and he came back very happy and nicely tired. They seem to really know dogs and their needs, which was exactly what we were looking for. So Brown-O will be back soon! A good place....

We have boarded multiple dogs in the past at this facility. Samantha and the staff are very professional and take fantastic care of the dogs. The kennels are clean and well maintained and our dogs are always returned to us happy and healthy. Just recently we had a family emergency and called Samantha last minute and she made accommodations to board our dog without hesitation. Thank you K9 Team trainers!

Our pup just had her first experience at a kennel, and I’m so glad we chose K-9 Team Training! Samantha is very friendly and responsible. You could tell she understands dogs and their each individual personalities. Our girl, Kit can be a little diva sometimes, but she knew exactly how to handle her and make sure she felt comfortable. We will definitely be using them again!

I would like to say a big thank you for the K9 team. I left my special puppy there, it was her first time away from us and I was worried, of course. Samantha and the rest of the K9 team were very nice and kind. Once I put my puppy down on the floor and Samantha started to talk with her, she literally ran towards Samantha and totally forgot about me LOL. There, I noticed that I could travel in peace, because my baby girl would be in good hands. I definitely will book the boarding for my baby with them from now on. Thank you so much! ❤️

I decided to board my pup Lando at K9 Team Training for his (and my) first boarding experience. I was incredibly anxious and distraught at the thought of sending him to a boarding facility for five days as he is a frenchie, but the moment we pulled into the parking lot, my anxiety subsided. Samantha made me feel safe and secure boarding Lando, giving options to personalize his stay there and allowing me to call in to check-up on him. My dog, who has separation anxiety and is generally a worry-wart, had so much fun and seems to miss his pup friends more than he missed me! Overall, cannot recommend K9 Team Training enough. I will definitely be bringing Lando back.

K9 did a great job with our pet, Cleo, over the Christmas holiday; it was our first experience, for 8 days total, and were already booking our next visit. Cleo came home happy and beautifully bathed and clean. I also really appreciated the careful communication on all booking details and the phone calls to confirm our appointment and to make sure we knew all the requirements for drop-off and pick-up. One small suggestion: It would be great if K9 offered photos of pets upon request; we were away for more than a week and it would have made me happier if we could see Cleo from time to time. Overall, great job. And 5 stars says it all!

The staff at K9 Team Training took care of my pup through day care for 5 weeks over the summer. I found the staff friendly, but I found their communication with me and with each other to be lacking. When dropping my dog off the first day I noticed the bark collars for sale and made sure to state that I did not train my dog that way and asked that they not use that type of training for my dog. I politely, and straightforwardly made sure that I would be contacted if she ever became such a nuisance that such a collar was required—as I would rather leave work to pick her up than have one used. I also made it clear that if they found her to need training to be there I was happy to pay for it. I was assured that a training collar would not be used without my consent.Over the course of the next five weeks I checked in repeatedly with different staff members at pickup and drop off to ask how my dog was doing and whether they thought training would be worthwhile. Repeatedly I was told no—but offered agility classes. They also mentioned she often sized up the fence and was a flight risk—but nothing about her barking. On the second to last day of our scheduled stay I came to pick up my dog and found her to have a bark collar on. On asking the staff member on pick up (the original staff member who assured me I would be notified if they felt such a collar would need to be used) what was going on with that, he said the order came from the owner. I asked why I had not been notified and was referred to speak with the owner. On speaking with the owner it became clear that my request had never been recorded or discussed. She stated that had I told her my feelings, that I would have been notified. She also minimized the concern by saying the collar was set to a lower level.Regardless of all this, it is not the customer’s job to notify every member of the staff of their beliefs regarding dog training. Notifying one staff member of strong beliefs should be enough to have those beliefs shared and respected with other staff. If that is not possible, it is on that staff member or the owner to communicate that to the customer. When you are placing your trust in a group of people to take care of your pup, that seems a reasonable expectation. All this said, I am not certain whether I was misled over the 5 weeks, and whether the collar had been used prior without my knowledge, but it does seem unlikely that my dog, out of the blue, only had barking issues 20 something days into her stay. That being said, I’d like to give the staff the benefit of the doubt that the issue lies in poor communication and not purposeful duplicity. I also hope they have taken the opportunity since this happened to make changes and improve the way they record customer requests and concerns.

We have been boarding our dogs with Sam at K9 team training for the last 5 years. She has helped or family with dogs ranging from puppy to elderly and even one who loves people but doesn’t always love other dogs. They have been absolutely amazing. Our dogs come back happy and exhausted from playing but more importantly they’re safe and loved when we’re not with them. I can’t recommend them highly enough!

Samantha runs an amazing boarding and training facility. I have three large Shepherds with larger-than-life personalities and K9TT has done wonders for them. We board our pups here when traveling, and there is no better feeling than seeing their excitement when we pull up and knowing they LOVE their home away from home and always have a fun time. Plus, I know they are in excellent hands. We also had our two young male GSDs trained by K9TT and were very happy with the process and the results. I sent a close friend here and she had a great experience too. My dogs are so important to me; having K9TT as a partner and resource gives such peace of mind. Highly recommend.

Samantha and K9 are the best trainers anywhere around - hands down. I’ve been in the dog training world for over 30 years and worked with many trainers across the United States. when I met and worked with Samantha, I was at ease. We finally found our person. As Samantha teaches us, dogs are just being dogs. Most of what we’re working on is how we humans Can support them and give them clear, healthy boundaries. And in just six sessions, our highly anxious rescue, quickly became the most well-behaved, happy, calm dog around! We not only have the best behaved dog in our entire town with an almost perfect recall off leash, but will we will be singing Samantha‘s praises and keep coming back to her for future training!. Next on our list is agility! Her property is amazing - they have everything from indoor training with limited stimulus to outdoor training to reenact a dog’s natural life. Her knowledge, expertise, wisdom, experience, and excellent communication skills make her one of the best trainers I’ve ever worked with. She’s not only incredible with dogs, but she’s incredible with people too. My wife and I each had very different styles. She worked with us to get on the same page so that our dog had the clearest, best training and communication possible. It’s even improved my communication and parenting skills with my wife :-)I couldn’t be more grateful and would highly recommend her to anyone and everyone!
