Dr Molnar & his staff are the BEST so caring & compassionate towards my BoBo who passed this year, my Izzy & Tinkerbell our newest member. No other vet office is like this I travel a distance to get to his office but it’s so worth the trip!!! Thank you Dr Molnar for taking such great care of my pups. ❤️❤️❤️

I’ve been going to Dr. Molnar for sometime now. Sad to say that ended about two weeks ago after my tiny 4 pound dog had her teeth cleaned. The next morning, I saw her gasping for air and choking, thank God I was home. I held her upside down, patted her back and a huge molar came flying out of her mouth. She was choking on a big rotten tooth. I called that morning to get her in and the receptionist was very unkind and I was crying nonstop after she told me that nobody could see her that day. I called several times and begged them please, I need to bring my dog in and she still said they didn’t have any appointments available. I had told her this is an emergency. Her tooth was stuck in her throat. I need to make sure that there is no other parts of the tooth that is stuck in her gum. Finally after six hours of panicking, they took us in. They never apologized about the tooth that my dog was choking on and was dumbfounded and had no answers. If I wasn’t home that morning my dog could’ve died. They lost a very good customer and I pray that this will never happen again in their establishment. Now I have to search for a whole new Vet and start all over again. This should never have happened ever. How can you clean a dog‘s teeth and leave a rotten tooth in their mouth? I never once got an apology from anybody the following Monday Dr. Molnar was supposed to call me at 9 AM which never happened. I then called at noon and he had no answers for me either. I’m not surprised that they did not admit that they were wrong like I said I will pray for all the dogs that go there

Dr Molnar is terrific. He immediately correctly diagnosed my cat Little Mouse. I totally trust him caring for all my pets. Dr Molnar is brilliant & very compassionate!!!😺

First of all they were able to get in right away when I called about my dogs ear infection. There was no wait and Dr Molnar is just wonderful. Treated my dog quickly and we were on our way back home.

My cat had a flea prevention treatment applied by a vet tech due to his dense coat making it difficult for me to do. We were seen very quickly, the tech was expert at doing the application, and, all in all, we were in and out within five minutes. Thank you!

My mom and I have been taking our two cats Tia & Tobi and Dachshund Apple to Shinnecock since they were a few months old and they have always received amazing care from every staff member here. All 3 girls were spayed here and I wouldn’t trust going anywhere else. We have been patients for over 3 years and are lucky to have them close to the hamptons.

I always have a good experience at Shinnecock hospital. Weather it is the veterinarian, the nurses, or the receptionists, they are all very friendly, happy to help and professional. I also take my Luna, goldendoodle for grooming. This lady is super. Overall I have nothing but good things to say about Shinnecock hospital.

Extremely helpful friendly staff. Switched over from another vet a few years ago. This is our second dog with them and very happy with the care and compassion that the staff gives to our 88 lb Cane Corso. Highly recommend.

Dr. Molnar saw our very anxious hound/pit mix - gave her all her vaccines. The only vet within a 100 mile radius who sat on the floor to greet her and was able to complete her annual exam. We are beyond grateful! Support staff also wonderful. We have a new vet!!

The best Veterinary Hospital I have ever took my dogs to. Very friendly, professional, always caring and compassionate. Every other vet I went to would see my dogs at least 30 minutes past our appointment time. At SAH the longest I waited was maybe 5 minutes. Dr. Molnar is absolutely fantastic, and I trust him with my animals 100%. It is 45 min drive for us, but it is worth every minute and every mile of travel for the best care my dog could get.

My 1st time there, the hospital and Doctor Molnar were very highly recommended by my best friend, who I worked with years ago . We worked as vet techs So when I needed a vet it was a no brainer to follow her recommendation. I am so glad I did, it was a top notch experience and I know that we have found our “forever Vet”

All of the staff at Shinnecock Animal Hospital are absolutely wonderful. We have been using them for years and although we now moved an hour away, we continue to travel to the office for our vet needs as the care they provide is unmatched. I have unfortunately needed to say goodbye to two of my cats and the staff made such a positive difference in the process. Have been going to Shinnecock Animal Hospital for years with all my fur baby’s… They are always so kind , compassionate and knowledgeable.. last eve my Sadie was bit by my daughters dog ..she was so traumatized and bleeding from her head. Call SAH said bring her down .. Dr Tierney ( even though she had a full schedule day and it was 530 at night ) she took care of our Sadie Reassured us that she going to be ok treated her, calmed her down Would not go anywhere else.

We have been very happy with the care that Gracie has received from Shinnecock Animal Hospital! We actually live 30 minutes away, but were very impressed with Dr. Molnars experience with rescue animals. Being our Gracie was rescued at 7 years old, we wanted her to have the best care. Dr. Molnar has been excellent with our Cane Corso mix. He gets right on the floor with her as soon as he walks in. He treated her for an ear infection, skin allergies, and helped us with her diet. He is excellent and so is the entire staff! It is worth the drive for us. Thank you.

I drove 45 minutes to establish care for our Guinea pigs after a local one didn’t do right by us. What a difference. The staff truly cares and that is so important. Bought my dog here a couple of days ago during the pandemic. The staff and veterinarian were both great, asked and gave honest answers. I felt very comfortable with everything.

Doctors love your pets as you do and treat them as their own, you can always trust their diagnosis and treatment plans taking into the consideration of the stress and result of the plan on your pet and what’s best for them honestly

We have 3 dogs and they all like to visit the staff here, even if only 1 dog is being seen by the Vet they enjoy coming to the appointment because it is always a pleasant experience. Highly recommended!

It is always very difficult getting Morgan to the vet, and the caring and considerate staff always helps to make it less stressful for Morgan and I once we get there. The wonderful Bonnie even noticed the fresh cat scratch marks on my chest and cleaned them up for me! Above and beyond. Thanks again.

Wow! Dr. Molnar is amazing ! We are from upstate NY and down here for the weekend and our Frenchie had an accident and the doc was so caring and knowledgeable and put our minds at ease. Very knowledgeable of the frenchie breed which was a huge bonus (and all their ailments). Great practice and the Vet tech was great along with the receptionist, who got us right in :) thank you all so much !

My Cat had to have three teeth removed. Shinnecock Animal Hospital Dentist was so professional and kept be posted on how my girl cat was doing. She had to be knocked out and she was watched for all day. She re coopered quickly and when she got home she was fine!.I felt confident in the procedure and in the care she had. She stayed at the hospital for 12 hours while I went to work. She was cared for and they followed up several times to be sure she was comfortable.Hospital has fast response time and you can get appointments quickly. Highly recommend !Barbara G

Everyone here is a pleasure to deal with. Every Vet Tech has been kind and easy to talk to. We have seen Dr. Molnar a few times now and he is great! He does a wonderful job explaining conditions and treatment options, is always full of great ideas, and you can tell that he really loves what he does! I have had animals all of my life and have finally found a Vet that I truly feel comfortable and safe with!

Dr. Molnar was fabulous! My dog was limping and having trouble walking. He is a very active puppy and it was upsetting. The people at Shinnecock Animal Hospital saw him quickly, called me with the results and explained everything to me. They were absolutely correct in their diagnosis and all is well now, Great people.

I love how friendly The staff is. I have a golden retriever puppy and a beagle mix who I always take for routine checkups or health issues. My beagle mix was aggressive and would get nervous at The vets office. Since I began to take him to Shinnecock animal hospital, his behavior has changed in a good way. My dog walks right in with no resistance and comes out Wagging his tail. The staff is phenomenal. I highly recommend it to anyone with nervous or anxious pets.

I’m so grateful I was recommended to this vet. I don’t care I have to drive an hour each way. WELL worth it. My cats are happy and so am I. Both of my cats each had to have unrelated surgeries in the past year (one was due to tooth decay and one was an injury from a fall), and both were remarkable afterwards. I was referred by two other people, from start to finish everyone was professional and nice. During this time of Covid not being able to go in for the visit would make anyone nervous, Dr. Mulnar called us right away, visit was so quick and he explained everything. Our experience with Shinnecock Animal Hospital couldnt have been better.Dr. Molnar and his staff are always thoughtful, gentle and kind to our dogs.Another local Hamptons wanted to put one of our dog, Lily, on steroids for back pain a few years ago. I brought Lily to Dr. Molnar to get a second opinion. He put Lily on a non-steroidal medication. Shes been doing very well since then. Im afraid she wouldnt have lived that long on the steroid the other animal hospital recommended.

Went twice in two days, with two different dogs: 1st was for what I considered emergency treatment for an abscess of the dogs anal gland, which Dr. Molner treated quickly and painlessly for the dog; second proved to be a non-emergency explanation for an 8-month-old male puppys entrance into manhood, which brought the owner peace of mind that what I thought was an emergency was normal maturation -- humorous with a minimal fee.

I was on vacation in Southampton and my 16 y/o Jack Russell choked on chicken jerky for dogs and was in distress. The entire staff and vet acted quickly and not only treated and helped my dog but made my entire family feel relieved and reasured. I cant thank them enough for this top notch treated. They even called the next day to check on her. Thank you to the entire staff. 💕

Dr. Justin Molnar is the BEST!! I have a very opinionated cat! Dr. Molnar knows how to handle her and get r done!Hes also taken care of our feral cat colony! (With the $$ help from ARFs program.)Ive also boarded my cat at Shinnecock Animal Hospital several times. They took great care of her. I love their services. Its well worth the extra $ to have them text you pics of your baby while youre away.(I think it was only $5.). Definitely gave me peace of mind seeing she was doing well!I absolutely recommend them for all your pet needs!Ive been using them for almost 15 years now.I wont go anywhere else in the Hamptons for the care of my four legged babies!They are loving/caring/professional/knowledgeable/the best of the best!Sincerely, Bonnie Barkett

Dr. Molnar came into the little room and sat on the floor with Tonka(my dog), which we both loved! He is a great vet and has a sense of humor, which I liked as well. The staff are very nice and help with anything you need. Great people, great place!

I just recently took my dog here because of a recommendation from a friend. Im so glad I did. The staff was all very friendly and great with my dog who is very nervous at the vet normally. They even called to check up on him a few days later. They really seem to care about your pets. Other vets I had been to were very quick with exam and didnt really want to answer any additional questions. They took more time to answer any questions I had.

Thanks too our brother in law who brings his cats here we were fortunate enough too have such a caring and fabulous vet ( Dr. Molnr) This vet is so knowledgeable and kind beyond words!!!! Words cannot express how grateful we are too have him look after our 3 pets. The staff is wonderful as well. Very kind and attentive. The veterinarians, technicians and staff at Shinnecock Animal Hospitals have lovingly cared for all my family pets for years. Of course they are knowledgeable and professional. But more than that, they take the time to get to know our pets. They are not just a number. And the doctors always take the time to explain test and exam findings, as well as any treatments.

Everyone, from the vets to the people at the front desk, are super nice and friendly. The doctor was very understanding and professional, and our cats respiratory issue got better 2 days after our visit! Highly recommend!

Went there to get our dog spayed because it was included with our Gimme Shelter Rescue fee. You still have to pay for a pain meds and one other thing, which comes out to another $200 (both optional but who would ever not get pain killers for their pup?)Also, they said they would go over the after care in detail when we picked up our pup, but then when I picked her up the vet tech just handed me her leash and said have a nice day.I asked the receptionist if someone was going to do the full debrief, so.... She went and got the same vet tech who came back and said so what did you want to review? When I explained that I was told there would be a detailed review at the end, she said Oh ok and proceeded to read me the sheet I was given line by line.Plus one receptionist asked for my information, then never said anything after I gave it to her. I sat there waiting for a few minutes (assuming she was entering info into the computer) and eventually had to ask if she needed anything else, to which she responded oh no, you can wait over there.Plus, I never saw the vet who did the surgery, even for a minute.Overall, it just wasnt a terribly professional experience. If I were in the area I would not take my pets there regularly.That said, our girl recovered quickly, and they called twice to follow up after we took her home. So it wasnt all bad.

They were so good with my dog Chloe when we had her and even sent us a compassionate card when she passed. They were incredibly well in treating my cat too, gave me crystal clear instructions on how to treat her and give medication. Truly appreciate you guys.

Very skillful pedicures for my two little doggies! It was terrific to be in the room during the pedicures to reassure them. Not all animal hospitals allow that.

The Shinnecock Animal Hospital is wonderful! We have been bringing our dog there for years and between the knowledgeable doctors and staff, and Rodrigos calming ways, our Lucy looks forward to seeing everyone each time she goes. Each visit is an absolute pleasure.

I have used Shinnecock Animal Hospital for over 10 years and am taking the time to post this review because they have absolutely earned and deserve this recognition. They have helped me through everything from basic preventative care to the difficult and painful process of deciding to put an animal down. Always informative and thorough, offer all available options, and thoughtful about my financial constraints. They really go above and beyond for me and my animals. Just recently I had to leave my cat overnight for care post surgery and as hard as that is it was such a comfort to get a call from the doctor on Sunday just to check in and let me know how she was doing. I am lucky to live just a few miles away and couldnt recommend them more. As long as I have animals I will use Shinnecock Animal Hospital! Thank you for everything you do!!

My dog Tinkerbell has been going to the Shinnecock Animal Hospital for 12 years now. Dr. Molnar is awesome!!! Tinkerbell has had some serious and some non serious health issues these past 12 years and every time Dr. Molnar gives me the right information, best advice and best treatment for my little awesome Pug :)

We recently had the tragic experience of having to euthanize two senior pets in one week (a dog and a guinea pig). I cannot thank this entire group enough for their compassion and care, both over the years (both pets were patients) and during this trying time. We sobbed together over the demise of two old friends - they were loved and mushed over every time we brought them in - including that final visit. The entire staff - Drs Molnar and Tierney, vet techs, and front desk are so caring and well-suited to this profession. I cannot thank them all enough. They provided our family with excellent care, thoughtful options and terrific advice throughout the entirety of our pets lives. Do not hesitate to call on them for your veterinary needs.

Was recommended by a friend to go here. I set up an appointment to get claus (my doggo) neutered on short notice. I spent an hour driving there and home. The process was really quick, great customer service, professional, knowledgeable, and the rates are good. It was worth the drive and would recommend this hospital as I had a pretty good experience with them.

I cant speak highly enough of this veterinary practice. My Goldendoodle has a bad ear infection and they fit us in even though we were new patients. The care was professional, compassionate and reasonably priced.

They were wonderful. They made every part of helping my sick cat very easy and smooth. The doctor was so patient and caring as well as all their staff. They followed up on him and he was doing better in no time. I’m so glad they are around!

We use Shinnecock Hospital for vet services and also grooming. They are very reasonable in prices but also very generous with knowledge and during non-operating hours! We love this awesome, local, family-feel establishment. The feeling we get here is that its all for whats best for the animal. 100%.

Dr.Molnar cares for my dog as if she is his own...So smart, kind and in tune with both me and my angel is this wonderful human being! Thinking about letting him do “my” next annual check up!! The whole atmosphere is in sync with beautiful energy to match.

Dr. Molnar is looking after my 1-year-old puppy and has done so for my previous 2 dogs, from puppyhood till the end of life. My dogs and I have been going there for 15 + years. A vet I highly recommend having grown up myself in a veterinarian household when I was little.PS: Dr. Molnar also does alternative medicine for dogs, such as acupuncture if this is for you.

I have been bringing my animals to the Shinnecock Animal Hospital for many years. Dr. Mulner has treated my hamster, my Ginuea pigs, both my dogs, and few of the animals that I have rescued over the years. The people at Shinnecock animal hospital care truly about all animals. When my dog was dying of cancer, Dr. Mulner, was understanding, professional and reliable. When my Ginuea pigs and hamster were old and dying, the staff and the Doctor, made a already tough time, more bearable. I would highly recommend anybody to take their animals here.Shinnecock is a little more expensive then some of the other Veterinarians in the area, however, you get what you pay for. They are worth the extra money because they love all animals, and treat all animals as if they were their own. My dog sweet pea who died of cancer, was a fearful dog. She was fearful of men mostly, and Dr. Mulner took notice to this, and immediately sat down on the floor with her. Sweet pea was not a fan of going to the veterinarian, however she liked Dr. Mulner, which for her was huge, and tells me a lot about Dr. Mulner. There were men that was around her daily, and she never warmed up to. Sweat pea did not see Dr. Mulner, more then needed, however, she always went to him with no problem. Sweat Pea would hide by me, when she was around men she did not know or trust. My current dog Sunny gets excited when going to the Shinnecock Animal Hospital. Just last week, I brought her there for a physical, and she was so excited to meet the person at the car, and went inside with no hesitation, and pure excitement.I would not bring my animals anywhere else. Unless, I had no choice.

Dr. Molnar is excellent. Very personable and knowledgeable. My dog immediately warmed up to him and allowed him to assess her paw.

I have been a client of Shinnecock Animal Hospital for about 6 mos. I am the owner of a German Shepard puppy. When I first brought my dog in he was tested for intestinal parasites and found to have giardia. The veterinary technician wanted to give me panacur. I told the tech that I was given liquid panacur by the breeder and did not need the medication from them. In a rather dismissive tone, I was told that panacur does not come in a liquid and what the breeder labelled as panacur had to be something else. That information was so wrong as I found I was able to order liquid panacur on Amazon. Anyway they put on my chart that I refused the medication so I think right away they marked me as a malcontent. I trusted what the breeder gave me and saw no need to double medicate. Fast forward to the second incidence of giardia. My dog still had it and again they prescribed panacur, insisting still that I did not give my dog the correct medication the first time. At that point I requested to speak with Dr. Molnar. You would think that a vet who truly cares about his clients would find the time to speak with them personally. Not the case as I got a call from another tech who really could not give me a clear path to follow to help my dog. By the way, in the 6 mos. I have been a client, I have yet to see Dr. Molnar personally. Some of that had to do with COVID to be fair but the guy is impossible to get in touch with! I just completed a third round of treatment for giardia with the same result, a positive test and very little follow up information. As of this writing I have twice requested to speak to Dr. Molnar, only this time they have chosen to ignore me completely. Very disappointing!!!

Dr. Malnor was honest with us didnt try to play on our emotions when talking about our options. The staff was kind and understanding. The bill was not over priced and fair. Would definitely recommend to anyone one

They are great! My pup sees them intermittently since we are not full time residents, but they are always accomodating, friendly and with good advice from the vets!

I could not find any vet in Suffolk County willing to see my mini pig Presley. I became frantic until I was referred from my own vet to try Shinnecock. I was scheduled immediately, welcomed with compassion and reassured that my mini pig (an indoor pet) was in good hands and would be taken care of. Presley and I were treated with warmness from the moment I entered. Dr.Molnar was the best vet that I have ever seen.He was soo good that my brother switched vets, I switched as well..Presley was taken care of and is doing very well. I wouldnt recommend any other clinic. I trust them with my kiddies, my dog and now 2 mini pigs. Very honest and professional, yet they have a way to make ypu comfortable even if your extremely upset.Cant thank them enough! !!!

To be fair I didnt deal with the hospital much as I went through an intermediary (RSVP Animal Rescue) *but* I have no complaints about the hospital itsel from checking in to checking out.One of the ferals I care for came down with what appeared to be an upper respiratory infection and he wasnt putting on winter weight like he should have been. I brought him in at the suggestion of RSVP and it turns out he was in much worse condition than I thought and likely would not survive the winter even with medical intervention. I hated that I couldnt be with him for his last moments but Im glad they took care of him.Thanks to SAH for being honest about his condition and what needed to be done, rather than prolonging his suffering for money. I really appreciate that compassion and kindness.RIP my little buddy. You were as sweet as you were dumb, and you were very very dumb. I miss you.

Caring staff and knowledgeable vet. Safe and well run. Staff care about the animals and the Facility is well oiled machine. They accommodated a cancellation without issue and they are in point with shots and needed care for our two frenchies. Great find!!

Could not have made it any better. She was given medication via injection and pills. We were assured she would get better. She has 95% but due to her Addisons its never easy. I am completely confident when she is under your care which really relieves the worry that comes with a sick dog. Thank you for your fine care.

I brought my Scottish fold here for a teeth cleaning and the woman who cleaned her teeth had no background other then an assistant , this woman wen too far into my cats gums that her eye was compromised , after having a meeting with my attorney and these people we got no answers until I took my Scottish fold to the specialist up the island , anyone that has a degree from the Bahamas should not be tending to animals in the United States , and in no way shape of for should the allow assistants to do procedures that they are not wualifi d to do

Just visiting the area from NJ. Brought my dog after 2 days of vomiting and diarrhea. The vet was knowledgeable and treated her that day. Symptoms resolved soon after. They were not money seeking. Checked up on my dog the next day.
