I love that this veterinary hospital is a small, locally owned business. Everyone is very kind whenever I am there with my pets or picking up medicine.

After an absolutely terrible experience at Greece Animal Hospital we brought our dog Tobi to Apple Country. What a difference! Intelligent, Caring and Kind people. Unlike Greece Animal Hospital who couldnt even keep their records straight or even knew the medications they had prescribed. We were only at Apple Country for a few years, but the experience was excellent! Our 15 year old trusty friend recently passed away, but the staff at Apple Country really helped our family through a very difficult decision and made our last moments together all I could have hoped for. I dont typically engage in writing posts about experiences, but I had to make an exception related to Apple Country Veterinary. Theyre awesome! My only regret is that someone didnt tell me about them sooner..

Great experience same staff as Erie Canal where we usually go. I would have given 5 stars but bushes block the sign and was a little difficult to find. Staff is great and my dog loves them.

I left a vet place that used to be very good and went downhill after it was taken over by another vet. I called, and they were so nice and helpful, and the treatment of your pets is A1. Im so glad I found a place that cares about my fur babies and people like they do.

Staff is always competent and happy to see you. Drs are amazing, professional, and forthcoming with information needed to assess your pets health. Has been our families choice for many years!!!!!You would have a hard time finding more love for your animal at any other Veterinary Hospital... They were great! I called them about my cats soft stool, went in the same day to get her checked out, gave her an exam and seemed to know what they are doing! They are very gentle and warm with the cats! They are knowledgeable of cats and gave her a food diet that helped her stool get better! I recommend these guys very much

Dr. Wendel is amazing! She is very personable, caring, and intelligent. When you step inside it doesnt feel like youre taking your dog to the vet, it feels more like youre taking them to a friend. I strongly recommend choosing Apple Country (specifically, Dr. Wendel) if youre looking for a vet.

This is a great place to take your doggos. The vets are great, they listen to you, they work with you. You are not just another appointment. The support staff is second to none, experienced, friendly, and just seem to love what they do. I am very happy I found this place, I think weve been going there almost 10 years now.

Been going here for years with our dogs and cats, always been pleasant, easy to get appointments and great even with my dog that doesn’t like people what so ever! Clean waiting area and clean rooms.

Going through a hard time right now with my kitty boy being diagnosed with diabetes...every single person here has been kind, considerate, and helpful! Recently took my a**hole... I mean, cat here for his first vet visit since I got him a couple years ago as a kitten. He had worms so it was time. Dr. Snyder and his staff were great! They listened and offered reasonable advice. I didnt feel like I was being sold to. Everything they were doing was clear and Sam (thats my cat) was treated very well despite his tendency to be a jerk when people are trying to examine his butt... Can you blame him?Not the closest vet to us, but definitely the best. Sams worms are gone and the advice we were given regarding his fur has worked very well. We will definitely be back the next time there is an issue.

The most amazing veterinary hospital! Every time i come here i feel safe to know that my dog is recieving the best care possible! Dr. Snyder is an amazing doctor, so intelligent and shows his passion through his work. The staff is so great, they welcome you and make you feel like this is the right place to be. If your looking for a vet I highly recommend apple country you will definitely feel like your experience is being handled answer if your animal was one of their own!

The staff at Apple Country are wonderful. We had to put our dog of 13 years down, and they made it a very calm, peaceful time for us.

This office has become very inconvenient in many ways. Changing hours and times. Pushing people to go to the Spencerport office. No night hours. it was a great experience for our fur baby but not now disappointed

Been a loyal customer for 12 years now and my dogs are still going strong, yay! Referred family and friends to Apple Country Vet here in Hilton too. In fact, 12 years ago we were referred by our neighbor here as well. The prices have gone up and its challenging but I love the professionalism, the respect, and confidence I have bringing our dogs here.!**Update**4/2/21Been Apple Country Veterinary customer since 2005. Sadly, things were consistently amazing with Doctor Snyder practicing.Frustratingly yesterday, I had absolutely ZERO success getting an urgent appointment! My cat had to go to only available emergency care in Henrietta for (urinary) blockage, as they recommended. Only 6 weeks ago, Apple Country Vet successfully treated the same 2 year old cat for exact same issue (repeatedly entering and straining in his litter box) with a convenient early morning appt squeezing us right in to see Doctor. No diet changes were suggested (post $160) nor was my cat even followed up with a welfare check!This Thursday. I did not get a call back for 6 hours to discuss options/ care (onset of symptoms that am). They repeatedly expressed they were booked and crazy busy. The next available appt. Between them and their satellite office Erie Canal was Monday afternoon! . Another words, $4k+ later, thanks but no thanks.Update 7/27/21I understand Co-vid has upended the way everything and everyone used to be.. everybody has suffered in one way or another..Well, its been a month since my favorite cat Ollie died! So crazy, he was only 2 3/4 years old! I tried again getting him an urgent appointment (Apple Country). They said I could drop him off but discouraged me by telling me it would likely cost upwards of $500 and that he might have to be sent anyway to Emergency services in Henrietta. I declined and just took him to VES myself, where they shockingly determined it was best to euthanize him! A part of me completely died with him. I understand he was just a cat, but he trusted me..and I feel like I failed him..he was a fighter and he was insanely beautiful. He was so special. I looked forward to coming home to see him every day. I wish Apple Country Vet had helped me, I didnt know anything about FIC and FLUTD and fully comprehend this thing called stress affecting a cats urinary health? The communication, interaction, and support was insufficiently lacking regarding both facilities (Apple Country and Veterinary Emergency Services)...NO INFORMATION, NO EDUCATION..Ive lost my buddy, my companion forever. I promised him I would take care of him no matter what (when he was only 8 weeks old)..We took him away from his mother and littermates, thinking he would have a better life with us. I just cant understand what happened and why??Wendy

Everyone is extremely helpful, especially with everything going on around us and limitations due to the Corona Virus. If my cats doctor is not available then one of the other doctors step up and helps out. I was referred to this practice about a year or two ago and I am glad that I listened to the referral. Thank you.

Apple Country has been my veterinarian for years, and I wouldnt go anywhere else. Whichever doctor you see, they handle your pets as though they were there own. They have compassion for both the pets and their owners. You couldnt ask for better care.

Wow, the vet (Hartman) was rude, nasty and had absolutely no compassion for pets. Would never go there again. How do they stay in business treating customers like that.

Dr. Hartman is great and so is the staff.

My dog had to be seen urgently and they got her in within 2 hours of me calling them. She required imaging, which we were able to schedule promptly the following day at Erie. I felt my dog got the care that she needed in a timely manner, and saved me a hike to the emergency vet. All of the staff we encountered were kind and caring.

Nightmare after I was passed off to new doctor/partner in the office. Its been 5 years of hell for my boy since then.

They take such good care of my Scooby Doo!

Sad day very expensive felt very rushed was told to go to emergency vet cost over 485 bucks for blood work n meds and no diagnosis for my dog
