Absolutely love going to this place! Always friendly and welcoming staff. This pet store offers a wide variety of supplies from cats to dogs to reptiles and fish. They even have life reptiles, fish and rodents! I would highly recommend this shop to anyone in need of pet supplies!

Pet Friendly owners and staff are very knowledgeable and have always helped us find solutions to any pet issues we have had. Their fresh water fish are very healthy. It is a nice locally owned store to shop in with better prices than the box stores around here.They have always been able to stock the dry dog food we use for all of our dogs.

We have our dogs (two golden retrivers) groomed by Danielle at Pet Friendly and she is the BEST! Our male dog, Jack, is extremely well mannered, but will cry if our female dog, Piper, is out of his sight. Danielle knows and while Piper is being groomed will let Jack sit by her and watch patiently. Danielle even went out of her way to try a new brush with Jacks crazy undercoat because she knew it was an issue we had. We cant say enough great things about Danielle at Pet Friendly!

Recently discovered this place and I must say it is one of the best if not the best pet stores I’ve been in, in a long time the staff and owners are awesome prices are reasonable and most importantly they truly care about their customers definitely recommend.

This place was recommended to my husband and I by a friend. We came to check out the fish and werent disappointed. A lot of tanks, great variety of fish, so much to choose from. The store was nice and clean, the staff were very friendly. Well be returning customers

We started taking our dog here to get his nails trimmed. This is the only place that has allowed me to go back with him to comfort him. We have had the best experience and his anxiety is manageable during the visit! We are thankful we can finally get our dogs nails done without the worry and stress!

Im a recent discoverer of this fabulous establishment. The service and attention is top notch! Im switching my pet shopping completely to this place. They were able to special order my pets prefered food variety and called as soon as it was ready for pick up. Thats great service in my book! The hours are so convenient too.

Very friendly pet store, all the workers are very knowledgeable. We take our dog to doggy daycare, she loves it and its an affordable price. They also have a rewards program where you can use points for discounts on anything you purchase.

When I am in search of a slightly more expensive fish, I will only go to Pet Friendly. Their tanks are well maintained, fish are healthy and information is happily given with no judgement.My new L239 thrives and I have Pet Friendly to thank.

Pet Friendly is a local family owned and run business. Weve past by often never knowing what it was, and turned around and stopped in one day. We are glad we did! Its a very nice pet store. We have 3 cats and they have a good selection of quality pet foods and a large variety of other pet needs that other stores dont have. We are very happy we decided to turn around that one day!!!

Love this pet store! They have a great selection of aquatic accessories and live fish! Unique interesting speciesas well. Staff is fantastic and super helpful especially when I was a new fish keeper. I buy all the products for my aquariums from pet friendly and regularly call them asking for advice. Highly recommend!

Good size every pet store. Good selection of products and decently priced. Fish selection is above average however the tanks are a little dirty and their prices are higher than other stores. Overall its a good store to get all of your pet needs without going to a big box chain.

I just relocated from NYC to Rochester. I called 20+ groomers and they all said they were too booked. Just as I was losing faith an amazing person recommended Pet Friendly. I called and expressed my issues with my maltese who hasnt been groomed in 4 months because of the relocation, so just imagine what my poor guy looked like. It broke my heart that I couldnt find a groomer until Pet Friendly said YES! Im not giving them a great review because they said yes. They deserve an amazing review because they took all my concerns serious, they were easy to talk to and they made you feel at ease leaving your pup in their hands. Pet Friendly definitely puts their customers 1st along with their furry customers. I truly look forward to becoming a forever customer! I hope my review will inspire others to bring their furry friend or just take a ride to check out their unique store.

It has been awhile since we have been in pet friendly. We always found it to be dirty and the aquatics department was not maintained. Today we decided to stop back in and check it out. I was extremely surprised to find a knowledgeable and personable employee( we were so used to the young couldnt care less high school students) I wish I remembered to get the gentlemans name, but we will be back to see him. Good job pet friendly for finally hiring someone with such knowledge a great personality and someone to finally care for your store as this man obviously is and does...(1/31/19)

I had my dog groomed here and was happy with the grooming but they either lost, threw away, or stole our dogs handmade leather collar that we bought on our honeymoon. Completely irresponsible business. They tried to blame us for the missing collar as well, even after acknowledging that they had it and misplaced it. Will never go here again. Id advise you get your dogs groomed and all pet supplies at a different location.

Our one stop pet shop. Amazingly friendly and helpful employees are always there for us and our pets. Weve adopted two hamsters and theyve been great pets. Our dogs love visiting the store and all of the attention that they get there. Great small business!

Extremely pleased! My betta spawned and I was searching for some live fry food. I visited Pet Friendly on recommendation of a worker at a different pet store. Arrived at Pet Friendly, was greeted and helped promptly, and left with some micro worms to start my own culture with. The woman who runs the fish section was great.

I recently brought my 13 yr old Golden-doodle here for a wash and grooming. It was his first time here. He and I were both nervous when we first got there, probably because his last grooming(at a different business) resulted in him having a chunk of his ear cut off, a lot of blood, stitches and a $200 vet bill. Needless to say we looked for a new groomer. Our appt was scheduled with Joey. Upon meeting her she assured me there would be no such problems. SHe seemed very nice and I think Tucker could tell. I picked up Tucker a few hours later and he looked & acted like a completely different dog. He was wagging his tail, he had his head up with a dog smile and his new hair cut looked perfect. It was exactly as I described to Joey as to how we wanted him groomed. We will be back in the spring for Tuckers next grooming!

Great place to buy your pet supplies. Very friendly staff. I adopted my puppy from Pals 4 Pets Rescue, and Pet Friendly hosted the adoption event. I bought enough pet supplies, that it earned me free dog training classes. You cant beat that!

This shop has by far the most amazing customer service. They are extremely helpful and kind. They helped me find food that works for my dogs special needs. I have a recurring delivery of dog food and they even called to follow up on a suggestion they made for me. I highly recommend Pet Friendly!

Local stores should give that extra attention to customers. This place does not disappoint. Ill pay a buck more to patronize local, AND save more than that in gas. They have everything there, always in stock. They special ordered a chinchilla for my daughter. They even have our dogs groomer on site. AND shes excellent!

I recectly was in a tough spot. I had an emergency situation with my fish tank. My filter wasnt working. I called in a panic and had a replacment part no questions asked at Im sure Daves expense or at the very least the aggravation of shipping it back to the factory. I needed something for elbow calluses for my dog and there was a staff member who used and recommended Bag Balm. It worked great on my dog and he felt better after only two days. Great customer service.

Support local. Have been going here for years. They have everything you need at comparable prices to the big chain stores, except everyone here is nice and helpful.

The staff is knowledgeable and helpful. They are a small business and offer free shipping to your house with large orders ($50). They will order something if it is not in stock. Its an alternative to big box delivery services and keep small businesses alive.

Ive been going here for all my pet needs since theyve open and today i was disgusted with the grooming department they have. The owner gave a discount but i was mislead to pay full price for a service that wasnt done. After today pet friendly has lost some of my trust.

I took my 2 dogs here for a bath. I explained on the phone that ones face was dirty and they both needed their nails clipped. When I arrived to pick them up, my dogs face was still dirty and neither had their nails clipped. I spoke with the groomer, who ignored me. I talked to the person at the register whose response was oh. I dont know. But he did take my $83. I went back and talked to the other woman who worked in grooming. She rolled her eyes and took my dog back. There was another dog in the cage back there who was apparently dog aggressive and afraid of my 120lb dog. This dog was yelping and barking more than I had ever heard another dog in my entire life. Instead of separating the 2 dogs, she kept my dog there, screaming at the dog stuck in the cage to shut up and be quiet. Then when the dog pooped in the cage, she started screaming at it for that. Then she brought me my dog back and told me she didnt have time for this right now. I have never seen someone in an animal field treat an animal like this. It was horrifying. When I returned home, I emailed my concerns to pet friendly. I received a quick response from the man at the counter that took my money and said they would attempt to wash my dogs face and clip their nails. I explained to him that the time to fix it was the 3 times I asked when I was there and that I wouldnt take my children back to a terrible babysitter, Im not taking my dogs back to a terrible groomer.If you have any respect for your pets at all, you will not take them to this store. I am still awestruck how the poor caged dog was treated in my presence. I cant imagine what she would have done had I not been there.

I experienced GREAT customer service at this store. I couldnt find what I needed and a member of the staff saw that there was one bag in the store and he found it for me. Then he even carried it out to my car.

Upon picking up our mini golden doodle from her grooming appointment we were given the bill and proceeded to pay. Once paid, with a tip, we were able to take our dog. The groomer totally disregarded our request of how we wanted her groomed. She also informed us that our dog was not welcomed back due to her being aggressive. Our dog is a 12lb. mini golden doodle puppy (10 months old) with no history of being aggressive. Convenient that the groomer neglected to inform us of this prior to payment and tip. Very shady way to conduct business. We try to support small business whenever possible, but this establishment has lost our business entirely.

GREAT pet store. Owner operated, quality supplies and knowledgeable staff. The summer help arent that great, but if you talk to a senior staff member, you WILL learn something. I went to Aqua Shoppe before, was loyal there, but their customer service and selection have gone DOWNHILL. If your an aquariast, this is the place to go in Rochester.

We stopped by this place for the first time yesterday. Since Pet Saver Superstore may as well be Dog Saver Superstore now it was awesome to find a locally owned shop that supplies all types of pets. We even found some great items for our young lizard. He used to just hide under his plastic plant, now that there are water misting tubes in the top of his house hes been crawling back and forth upside down on the screen roof inspecting the renovation, its adorable. They even had our rabbits favorite food in stock which is harder to find. The gentleman working the counter was friendly and helpful too. Overall great experience and a great shop.

Nice little place with lots of dog treats. Not as many dog toys as CountryMax but still has everything you need for a dog or cat. They have a wide selection of dog food if you have the $$$, I even saw a package of food made from free-range chicken (think it was chicken...)
